This is not only about Romney’s record as Governor of Massachusetts (2003-2006). It is a history of radical GLBT activists’ infiltration of our government agencies and school systems.

Massachusetts has been the incubator for harmful sexual-radical programs directed at children. It was, after all, through the Governor’s Commission on Gay & Lesbian Youth that Kevin Jennings (GLSEN founder, “Fistgate” maestro, and Obama “Safe Schools Czar”) got his start in the early 1990s. It was, in fact, Jennings’ then “partner” who designed the Massachusetts DOE’s “Safe Schools” programs. The goal of these programs is to normalize homosexuality and transgenderism for children of all ages, while demonizing traditional values and denigrating parental authority. This Massachusetts history is seminal.

As for Mitt Romney’s role: This is a case study of an unprincipled politician pandering to a wealthy and powerful special interest. The ambitious Governor was in reality an enabler of sexual radicals whose goal is the destruction of traditional family values. Yet, Romney claims to believe in traditional marriage and every child needing a home with a father and a mother.

Romney has recently reaffirmed his support for “gay rights” in all areas except marriage. This implies that if he is elected President, we can expect to see harmful programs such as these pushed at the federal level.

Dianne Wilkerson, MassEquality Champion, Jailed for Accepting Bribes

Dianne Wilkerson, former super advocate for GLBT causes in the State Senate, has been sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison for accepting $23,500 in bribes. Those are the bribes they know about. The sentencing judge "assail[ed] the state's political culture."

US District Judge Douglas P. Woodlock agreed with Assistant US Attorney John T. McNeil, who argued that Massachusetts politics have become so cynical that two former House speakers convicted of federal crimes — Charles F. Flaherty and Thomas M. Finneran — were “welcomed back like they were some sort of heroes’’ at State House ceremonies on Wednesday. Neither Flaherty nor Finneran was sentenced to prison.

“It’s clear the sentencing imposed for criminal conduct here and, frankly, in other industrial states, hasn’t been sufficient,’’ said Woodlock. Referring to a culture of political corruption in Massachusetts, Woodlock said, “That Gordian knot has not been cut. People go back to do it again.’’

Continuing Feminization of the U.S. Military: The Repeal of DADT

Sexual tension in the ranks means the end of military discipline.

The U.S. military took its first step on the sexual slippery slope when it admitted women to the military academies in the mid-1970s. Later, women began serving on the frontlines (just one way Bill Clinton ensured the decline of our once proud military and kowtowed to the radical feminists). The denial of reality—that there was no new element of sexual tension acting as a distraction from discipline—began then.

The incorporation of women at least involved normal sexuality. And if a woman became pregnant, she would be discharged. Still, enormous damage has been done.

Now, with the repeal of the ban on homosexuals serving openly, we will see increased tensions, this time with an unnatural and perverted sexuality endangering discipline—and it will be more pervasive in the daily life of a soldier. Where men and women are at least segregated in their housing, bathrooms, etc., this will not be the case with homosexuals.

What a betrayal by our new Senator Brown to vote for the repeal of this important element of discipline. But then, he probably doesn’t have a problem showering no matter who is ogling him.

Mass. Tea Party Features Real Tea Bagger!

Republican Lt. Gov. candidate Richard Tisei, an "out" homosexual and GLBT activist, was the invited main speaker at the Waltham Tea Party rally on the Waltham Common on Sunday. Also included were several other statewide, congressional, and legislative candidates.

Except for being a "Republican", Tisei is the unlikeliest person to be featured by Tea Partiers. He was a co-sponsor of the Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes Bill, has a 100% pro-abortion rating, and has a disturbing record as a state senator opposing tax cuts.

This fellow, however, was not welcome. When the organizers saw his sign they immediately told him he had to put it away or leave.

This RINO Tea Party did not want the truth about the Republican Governor candidate Charlie Baker to be broadcast in any way. (Baker told the Boston Globe he is “to the left of Obama” on social issues.)

Leave it to Massachusetts to hold a Tea Party rally complete with a real Tea Bagger.

New Form of Child Abuse: Parents Support Toddler "Coming Out" as Transgender

Slippery slope alert in the heartland: A Missouri couple are being applauded by PROMO, the GLBT advocacy group in Missouri, for supporting their very young child "coming out" as transgender -- starting at the age of two-and-a-half! This is unreal. Also involved are the Safe Schools Coalition of Missouri and "Growing American Youth" of Missouri.

PROMO is "Missouri's statewide organization advocating for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equality through legislative action, electoral politics, grassroots organizing, and community education." They sent this out a few days ago in recognition of National Coming Out Day:

I was lucky enough to talk to a mom from St. Charles who comes out every day as a mother of a transgender child. The first time I heard her story as she came out to me as an openly transgender family, I was choked up over the phone because I was so proud knowing there are families like hers who step up, come out, and stand strong together every day. I wanted to share her family's story with you to celebrate all of the differences and similarities in each of our coming out stories. I hope this mom's story inspires you to come out for yourself and to come out for those around you.

We are the parents of a seven-year-old transgender son. He came out to us when he was just two years and eight months old. As young as our child was, he has always made it clear that he wanted people to "know" who he was and seldom missed an opportunity to let a family member or close friend know that he was actually a boy -- not a girl. As he grew, so did his insistence that he was a boy. I so admired his strength and courage.  

As his parents, and once we understood that "he knows who he is," we came to the conclusion early that forcing him to live as something he is not would be heartless and cruel. God does not make mistakes. And God gave us this beautiful and courageous child who I grow prouder of every single day.  

Our son expressed a deep desire that we begin letting everyone know that he was actually a boy. So earlier this year, we sat down with immediate family members to let them know we would be allowing our child to transition. We sent a heartfelt letter to extended family members. We told close friends. We told his dentist and pediatrician. We told co-workers. We told neighbors. We told our pastor and church leaders. We told the staff at our son's summer camp. We changed schools, and at our son's insistence, we told the administrators we wanted to come into the school as an openly transgender family. The school sent a letter to the homes of all first grade students explaining what it means to be transgender.  

We have had an incredible outpouring a love from many, and we have suffered the worst pain imaginable -- watching our child be rejected. But we follow our child's lead and march forward. He says, "It's always better to tell the truth, Mom. Just tell the truth."  

Our hope is that by coming out, we will touch lives with our story in a way that brings meaning and understanding. Our prayer will continue to be that our son can find his place in this world -- openly and without ever feeling he needs to hide.  

We thank God every single day for sending us this precious and special child. We feel blessed and grateful to have him in our lives.

I encourage youth and adults to come and learn how to change lives from being bullied to being an empowered leader and standing up to bullying in schools and communities.

Boston College Celebrates Coming Out Week

The latest from that radical "Catholic" university, Boston College: Its student newspaper reports that bisexuality was a big focus for National Coming Out Week this year. There are lots of misconceptions about this "identity":

To celebrate NCOW, the GLC has been hosting various events throughout the week. On Tuesday, the group hosted a panel on bisexuality, during which five undergraduate students from BC spoke about their personal experiences and the issue of bisexuality on campus.

"People often tell me that I should just be straight because I have more options, that I should lean more toward the opposite sex," said Rachel Graves, one of the panelists and A&S '11. "But I wouldn't want to do that because that is not being who I am. I would not be honest with myself if I claimed that I am either straight or gay."

"Both gay and straight communities tend to have some misconceptions about bisexuals," Graves said.

She and other panelists said they felt that some people think bisexuals claim that they are so because they are either going through a "phase" in which they feel uncertain about their sexuality, or do not want to come to terms with the fact that they are homosexual.

"This misconception is sometimes an encumbrance when dating because the partner feels insecure about the bisexual's sexuality, and thus, the relationship in general," Graves said.

"The panel was very interesting because it explored an identity that is often overlooked in the GLBTQ community," said Clifton James, CSOM '12, who attended on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the GLC hosted an event called "Guess Who's Gay," in which the audience tried to figure out if a panelist is straight or GLBTQ. Members of the panel were behind sheets through which only their silhouettes and voices were discernible.

Tonight, there will be an event called "Opening Boston's Closet," during which students will gather and talk about their sexual identities. Friday will be "Show Your Love Day" across the campus. People are encouraged to hug as many people as they can between classes.

And the BC kids think they have wisdom. Homosexuality is "perhaps the great theological question of our time," they write. The Church just hasn't given it enough thought. From the Cardinal Newman Society "Campus Notes" blog:

An article by the editorial board of the Boston College student newspaper site BCHeights.com upbraids the Catholic Church for its stance on gay issues. The authors seem to take for granted that the Catholic Church’s teaching on the gay lifestyle must be wrong. Their point is that Catholic thought on the subject would eventually come around to acceptance of the gay lifestyle if only the Church would study the question more. Boston College is the place to do it, they argue.

“We empathize with students who were raised Catholic but who have been driven out by homophobic attitudes. The Church has to realize that its intolerance may deter people who do not identify as GLBTQ, as well. . . The Church has to face the fact that there are thousands, maybe millions of Catholics out there praying for some real discussion about the deeply personal struggle in their souls. This is, perhaps, the great theological question of our time, and BC, if it aspires to be a leader in the Catholic world, should explore ways to submit the question to rigorous examination. . . Faith and reason sometimes make a tenuous pair, but for thousands of years people in the Church have found ways to wed the two. . . BC needs to become a place where the tangled knot of Catholic moral theology on GLBTQ issues can be unraveled and debated by intelligent, thinking believers.”

BC Heights’ editorial board posted their opinions as Boston College’s celebration of National Coming Out Week continues.

The “GLBTQ Leadership Council” celebrates National Coming Out Week every first week of October. The Council president said, “Administrators sometimes face obstructions in helping us when they feel that the GLC activities are not aligned with Jesuit principles. But they are usually supportive of us.”

Another leader of the GLBTQ Leadership Council said, “Our school is more open to gays compared to some other Catholic institutions such as Notre Dame, and the administration has given us much help in coming this far. We were able to have our first gala in the spring of 2009 and start selling ‘support love’ t-shirts in 2008.”

Gay Groups Exploit Teen Suicides for Political Ends

Linda Harvey at MissionAmerica has a great article on the sexual-radical political lobby's exploitation of tragic suicides by confused teens. The damage done by their homosexual indoctrination programs in our schools is immeasurable. (My family has experienced it first-hand.)

Is 'gay' agenda to blame for teen suicides?

Details are sketchy in the recent rash of homosexual-related teen suicides throughout the nation, but already the "gay" lobby is ready to exploit our children one more time....

How do families and school communities cope with such tragedy? As a parent, I cannot even imagine the heartbreak. In trying to prevent such devastating events in the future, emotional manipulation can lead schools and communities to implement wrongheaded, harmful plans of action. That's what is being attempted now. But it's nothing new. It's been the modus operandi of homosexual activism for the past 20 years.

It's time to stop it, now.

Would widespread community embrace of homosexuality and gender-switching prevent some of these suicides? Or is misinformation actually a contributor to the despair embedded in these tragedies?

The homosexual lobby has gone into full demand mode, particularly GLSEN (the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) and the Human Rights Campaign. Obama Education Secretary Arne Duncan hosted a national summit on bullying with homosexual activists present and featuring former GLSEN president and "safe schools" czar Kevin Jennings. There's a renewed press for passage of H.R. 4530, national legislation that goes beyond stronger anti-bullying measures to incorporate mandatory pro-"gay" propaganda. ...

The already troubled youngster is often the one drawn to homosexuality or gender compromise and is extremely vulnerable. For many reasons, the grand experiment is crashing before our eyes. But it's our precious young people, the targets of the double barrels of cruel words as well as cruel sexual manipulation, who are paying the ultimate price.

There is a rich scandal ongoing in the Massachusetts Catholic Church. The Boston Archdiocese is sponsoring a so-called "social justice" conference next weekend. It sounds nice enough in its milquetoast description:

Revelations about the featured speakers at the Boston Archdiocese’s Social Justice conference this coming Saturday are getting worse every day, and more and more Catholics from across the country are sounding the alarm bells as part of our “Boston Catholic Tea Party” protest. Today we hear more about support for gay activism and Marxism by the two featured speakers, Fr. James Massaro and Fr. Bryan Hehir, respectively. Yes, we said Marxism. Read on to see details of Fr. Hehir’s infamous talk in the “Matthew, Marx, Luke, and John” series at the left-leaning, Marxist-oriented Institute for Policy Studies. We told you how Fr. Massaro was one of 26 signatories to a public letter supporting the nomination of pro-abortion former Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius as U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services …

Marxism and Fr. Bryan Hehir - We’ll get to more on the GLBT agenda supported by the commission Fr. Massaro co-chairs, but first, the Marxism angle and Fr. Bryan Hehir.

What you may not have known is Fr. Hehir’s past involvement with the Marxist-oriented, gay-agenda-supportive Washington, DC think tank, the Institute for Policy Studies. Fr. Hehir gave multiple talks there in the 1980s, including speaking in their Washington School series, “Matthew, Marx, Luke, and John” in October of 1983.

As you’ll see by this content on Religious Left Exposed, during the 1980s, the IPS served as a base of operations for those opposed to President Ronald Reagan’s anti-communist foreign policy. It was dedicated to the establishment of revolutionary Marxist and anti-American regimes in Central and Latin America and elsewhere and describes itself as the nation’s oldest progressive multi-issue think-tank. A New York Times Magazine article from April of 2001 exposes IPS as founded on radical, revolutionary and Marxist principles …

In 1984 [the IPS] hosted “Sister Boom-Boom” of the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” a group of “Queer Nuns” who mocked the Catholic Church. The history of the IPS on their website proudly conveys how “Rita Mae Brown wrote and published her path-breaking lesbian coming-of-age novel Rubyfruit Jungle while on the staff in the 1970s.” ...

Issues, issues, and more issues. That’s all State Rep. Jeff Perry really wants to discuss. Whether it is his support for the right to keep and bear arms, his pro-life stance or his desire to repeal the Democrats’ healthcare measure enacted by Congress earlier this year, the Republican nominee for Congress has an opinion and detailed facts to back it up. And Perry believes, with all his heart, that the terms “conservative” and “Republican” should be basically the same. 

So what makes him so special among scores of Republicans running for the House of Representatives this year? That’s an easy question to answer: Jeff Perry is from Massachusetts. In a state where liberal Republicans such as Sen. (1966-78) Ed Brooke and former Gov. (1990-96) William Weld are the norm and conservative GOPers rare, attorney and former policeman Perry is proof that times are changing. It has been said that Republican Sen. Scott Brown, whose capture of Ted Kennedy’s seat made international headlines in January, has taken positions that Brooke, Weld et al. would never have thought of adopting.  

If Brown is the first step in a sea change in Bay State politics, then Perry is the next step. Backed by Brown’s on line and field strategists State Rep. Perry handily won the Republican nomination for Congress in the 10th District (Cape Cod) over

… the Democratic nominee is Norfolk County District Attorney William Keating. As Perry observed, “He is the opposite of me on issues from gun control to healthcare, and, most important of all, he will vote to make Nancy Pelosi speaker again. I won’t.”  

There is one other significant difference between the contenders in the 10th District. As a state legislator and now as a candidate for Congress, Perry has been a champion of term limits. In his words, “I said I would serve no more than four or five terms as a legislator and kept my promise. I will do the same in Congress. That’s what members did for many years—went back to their homes and worked in the private sector. That’s how it should be.”

Half of Infected "Gay" & "Bi" Men unaware they have AIDS

So, let's see... Is it "anti-gay" to be concerned that so many men are terribly sick and don't know it? That the promotion of homosexual behaviors as "just another option" is the reason behind this? This is very sad... Yet our schools and culture continue to tell young men and women that anal intercourse is a legitimate and safe means of sexual expression. And as with abortion, this is hitting our black population the hardest.

ATLANTA — One in five sexually active gay and bisexual men has the AIDS virus, and nearly half of those don’t know they are infected, a federal study of 21 US cities says.
Specialists said the findings are similar to earlier research, but the study released yesterday is the largest to look at gay and bisexual US men at high risk for HIV. More than 8,000 men were tested and interviewed, and 44 percent of those who had the virus didn’t know they had it.
Overall, less than half of 1 percent of Americans have the AIDS virus, according to a calculation by the Kaiser Family Foundation, a research and policy organization in Washington, D.C.
But gay and bisexual men continue to be infected at much higher rates, said Jennifer Kates, Kaiser’s director of global health and HIV policy.
That’s why a new national AIDS strategy, unveiled by the White House in July, is emphasizing more of a government focus on men who have sex with men and others at the highest risk of being infected, Kates said.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends HIV testing at least once a year for all men who have sex with men and are sexually active, but research indicates more than half don’t get tested.
An earlier study in just five cities in 2004-05 found similar results.
The new study, conducted in 2008, included 16 additional cities. Researchers offered free testing to the men, interviewed them, and paid around $25 for their participation.
Black men who were sexually active with other men were more likely to have HIV, with 28 percent reportedly infected, compared with 18 percent of their Hispanic counterparts and 16 percent of white homosexuals.
Black homosexuals were also least likely to know they were infected — about 60 percent didn’t know they had HIV — compared with 46 percent of Hispanics and 26 percent of whites.

He had a message they didn't want to hear, i.e. that their sexual behaviors were choices, not their inborn fates that just had to come out.) The excitement of coming to college can be titillating in more ways than one - if you know what I mean. Are you thinking about sex yet? Classes, clubs, sports and friendships might be great, but for many finding someone with which to share it all ranks high on their list of priorities for college life. Students arriving at Smith for their first year have a high schooler's perception of what college sex is like, and those perceptions can often stray from reality. But never fear, first-years: we're here to help.

So what do first years think college sex will be like? Hollywood tells us that our fellow co-eds have it, all the time. Forget homework, forget sleep, just chug down that third Pabst Blue Ribbon and get down to business.

But things at Smith are a little bit different. Things like that hot lesbian threesome going on in the end shower. For one, we don't have guys, driving the heterosexual population to desperation and the queers directly to heaven. But just how different are we?

For starters, there's no Greek life, which means no hypersexualized sorority sisters and testosterone-fueled frat rows. Head down Route Nine for that. Sure we have parties, and guys attend, just in much smaller numbers than at other colleges. But hey, you first-years picked Smith for other reasons. Like an education.

High school students often think of college both as a place of rampant hookups and as one where they can possibly meet someone who they'll spend the rest of their lives with. Here, Smith might fit the stereotype. Some students will find their significant others here or in the area - and in the meantime, hookups are happening. Everywhere. Straight girls might need to plan ahead, but it's still common.

Another great difference between Smith and the college stereotype is concern about STDs and pregnancy. Smithies will talk at length about vaginas and UTIs, but you rarely hear the words gonorrhea or abortion outside of a pro-choice context. Maybe we've heard one too many body-conscious lectures, but Smithies seem to be pretty good about avoiding the bad stuff that comes from sex.

Lastly, most Smithies are desensitized to sex: we're not shocked when we talk about it. High school students are uncomfortable when they hear frank discussions about sex, but at Smith openness is the norm. On the flip side, many students do choose to keep things private, and this is respected as well. However, overhearing the girl down the hall from you telling her partner what she plans to do with the extra can of whip cream is more likely.

Before we leave you, we'd like to offer a short list of tips for all you first-years to help you survive your sexual Smith experience.

1. Condoms are provided for free in most of the bathrooms around campus. You know what to do with them - and yes, this could mean tube-shaped balloons.

2. Noise control. Smithies, these houses are old and poorly insulated. Play some music, get some pillows to bite, do what you have to do.

3. Smith is a vortex of queer drama. Do what you can to fight the madness.

4. Slow down. Four years is a long time.

5. Talk to your roommate - beforehand! - and have a signal that you both know to convey that the door needn't be opened. Socks on doorhandles, stars on whiteboardsâ€¦you get the idea.

6. House booty is bad booty, almost 69.69 percent of the time.

7. If you wouldn't do it sober, don't do it.

8. Toys. Not the kind from Toys-R-Us.

9. Go to an Emily Nagoski lecture, the Wellness Education Director. You'll learn a lot.

10. Be open to new experiences. Except #6.

Romney Bombs at Values Voters Summit

Here's a good report on Romney's poor performance at the Values Voters Summit in D.C. last weekend. Despite his failure to move the audience and his poor showing in their straw poll (coming in 3rd after Mike Pence and Mike Huckabee), we predict he will forge ahead and dump millions into the the race. It will be interesting to watch whether National Review, Tony Perkins (Family Research Council), and other establishment "conservatives" support him this time around.

In addition to his weakness on conservative social issues, Fischer highlights the horrible RomneyCare health plan he foisted on this state, with its $50 abortions. (And please, conservatives, remember that the supposedly conservative Heritage Foundation had a hand in devising Romney's mandated coverage health plan!)

Mitt Romney is toast

I just returned from the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., and the main takeaway is this: Mitt Romney is toast.

Tony Perkins and FRC Action were entirely right to invite Romney to speak. (AFA Action was a co-sponsor of the event.) Romney is eager to court the pro-family community, and deserved the opportunity to persuade values-driven voters of his bona fides. In this task he failed.

While one conservative leader after another — Mike Huckabee, Michelle Bachmann, Mike Pence, and Jim DeMint to name a few — rang the chimes on the importance of keeping social issues at the heart of the conservative agenda, Mr. Romney managed only one passing reference to the sanctity of life and sanctity of marriage.

On top of that, Romney's speech came across as plastic, forced, and stilted. He was the only speaker of the weekend to use a teleprompter, and at times tried to be more of a stand-up comic than a political leader. He seemed to be working to get a Las Vegas lounge act instead of a seat in the Oval Office. While other conservative speakers spoke from the heart, he spoke from a script.

But it is his glaring weaknesses on social issues that will doom his chances for electoral success in 2012. He was given the feature slot at the Values Voter Summit, the last spot on the Friday morning slate, and his speech fell flatter than the proverbial pancake. Boston Globe and Emerson College Pushing Propaganda Play “Laramie Project”

Back in 2007, we assembled background info on the horrid propaganda play, “The Laramie Project.” Performed at high schools and colleges around the country, it uses raw emotion and lies to draw youth into the sexual-radical “rights” cause. The recruitment efforts never let up.

So we’re not surprised to see “Laramie” being pushed again by Arts Emerson and the Boston Globe this week. They’re even exploiting the Governor’s daughter as a “panelist”. Emerson faculty are working with the sexual-radical groups GLAD, GLAAD, PFLAG, GLSEN, Matthew Shepard Foundation, Human Rights Campaign, and Boston’s “Theater Offensive” (“ambitious programming [on] the cutting edge of queer culture and politics”) to promote their ideology and sense of victimhood, and encourage everyone to “take action against hate”:

The moderator will be former ABC news anchor and current Leader-in-Residence in Emerson College’s Journalism Department Carole Simpson. "It is my pleasure to moderate a panel exploring the plight of the LBGT communities," said Simpson. "Their problems of discrimination, physical abuse and exclusion have been overlooked too long. The issues need to come 'out of the closet' into the light of public understanding. I hope I can facilitate that. I lost a close relative to AIDS. Through him I learned firsthand the difficulties he had by being 'different.'"

Sen. Scott Brown Donated to Social Extremist RINO Candidate

Sen. Scott Brown gave $100 to social extremist RINO candidate for State Rep., Dan Winslow.

Winslow received the endorsement of the Massachusetts GLBT lobbying group, and that’s about as extreme as one can get. Winslow is even moving to embrace “transgender rights” demands.

Brown and Winslow have been friends since college and law school, and Winslow played a major role in his Senate campaign. But this is not about friendship. It’s about principles.

We’d hoped that Brown would be conservative across the board. He was a fairly reliable pro-family vote while in the Mass. legislature (though not pro-life).

Winslow looks like a qualified candidate unless you know the back story. It was Winslow who, as Gov. Mitt Romney’s Chief Legal Counsel, advised that marriage licenses be changed in May 2004 to allow same-sex couples to “marry”. He (and his boss Romney) changed the licenses without legislative authorization to read “Party A” and “Party B” instead of “bride” and “groom”. Winslow conducted the training sessions for town clerks and Justices of the Peace, threatening any who objected on religious or principled grounds that they would be fired or fined. Winslow and Romney unconstitutionally made law. The Supreme Judicial Court had not even told the Executive branch to do anything. (And the Legislature never has changed the statute to allow same-sex marriages.)

We hope that Sen. Brown does not agree with Winslow that DOMA should be overturned, that homosexual “rights” should be extended in all realms (including the military), and that there is a case to be made for “transgender rights”.

If Sen. Brown does agree with Winslow, why doesn’t he just go ahead and give an interview to the homosexual newspaper Bay Windows? They’ve been after him for months. Why hold back?

Romney's Pro-"Gay Rights" Legal Counsel Endorsed by Radical GLBT Lobby

The GLBT lobby – including its transgender members – have just unanimously endorsed former Gov. Mitt Romney’s Chief Legal Counsel for State Representative. That would be Daniel Winslow, Esq.

We always knew that Romney’s legal staff was really working for “gay rights” while pretending to just enforce the “law” (the unconstitutional Goodridge marriage Court ruling). It was Winslow who himself made law (with the Governor’s assent), changing the marriage licenses in May 2004 – without the required Legislative authorization – to read “Party A & Party B” instead of “Bride & Groom”. Unbelievable.

For those new to MassResistance, we’ve pointed out since 2004 that same-sex marriage is still not legal in Massachusetts. The marriage statute still reads “man/woman”, and the GLBT lobby can’t get their bill allowing marriage “regardless of gender” to a vote (as confirmed by Winslow). The Court told the Legislature (not Winslow and Romney) to make that change, but they never have!

Winslow’s website makes no mention of social issues. (He’s right in line with the state Republican establishment on that!) He does show off his old bike in a sappy nod to the Scott Brown truck.

That’s all we need: another RINO in the State House! Our old friend, Tom Lang (another RINO) at KnowThyNeighbor.org had a long conversation with Winslow at the Mass. Gay & Lesbian (& Tranny) Political Caucus meeting recently:

The Massachusetts Gay and Lesbian Political Caucus (MGLPC), the Leading LGBT Lobby Organization and Key Architect for the Strategy Securing Marriage Equality, Has Endorsed Republican Daniel Winslow (9th Norfolk) And Former Mitt Romney's Chief Legal Counsel Over Democrat Challenger Stanley Nacewicz For the Massachusetts House of Representatives

Led by Co-Chair Arline Isaacson, the MGLPC voted unanimously in last week's annual meeting to endorse the Republican, Daniel Winslow over his Democratic challenger, Stan Nacewicz for the Massachusetts House Seat representing the 9th Norfolk District in Fall 2010. This District seat was formerly held by Richard Ross (R) [who marched in Boston Pride this year] who vacated it when he succesfully ran for Scott Brown's (R) Massachusetts Senate Seat after Brown's historic victory took him to Washington, DC.

Arline Isaacson touted Republican Dan Winslow for his support of The Goodridge Decision, his zero tolerance of hate crimes and told the Caucus gathering, "Winslow is what we need," in terms of a Republican that understands LGBT issues. Isaacson also gave a bit of insight into Winslow's history as the Romney attorney that changed our state's marriage license wording from "Bride and Groom" to "Party A and Party B" …

But what was interesting was that Isaacson provided the Caucus with Winslow's answers to her standard nine topic questionnaire on civil rights issues that all candidates are given. Dan Winslow answered "Yes" to all subjects ranging from Gay and Lesbian Civil Rights to HIV Funding to Opposition of DOMA to Choice except one...the Transgender Civil Rights and Hate Crimes Bill. …

So what does KnowThyNeighbor [Tom Lang] think about this? I interviewed Dan Winslow extensively after the Caucus endorsement meeting. On the subject of Marriage Equality post Goodridge, Winslow says that Massachusetts needs legal updates. Winslow told me that during the Romney days many within the administration insisted that MA marriage licenses continue to read "Bride and Groom" as, according to Winslow, some wanted same gender couples to "have to decide which would be the bride and which would be the groom" or in other words force same-sex couples to humiliate themselves. Winslow was the one who pushed the "Party A/Party B" nomenclature as one of respect and dignity for same sex couples and a general equality for all parties entering into marriage. Winslow wanted to make me understand that he has 3 important legal changes to state laws post Goodridge that to him are of the utmost urgency. One, changes to current birth certificates which would recognize same sex couples. Two, the inclusion of "civil unions" and "domestic partnerships" as impediments to MA marriages (currently, two people of the same gender could be married to one another in MA while being part of a dom partnership in Washington State to another person). And Three, that MA courts must retain the jurisdiction of divorce when it comes to our same-sex marriages. … [emphasis in original]

Winslow is even moving towards supporting the Transgender Rights bill. Now that’s what we call extreme. (We thought the Republican Party didn’t want to associate with “extremists”.)

Why do these guys have an R next to their name? They’re really fifth columnists, working to undermine traditional values from within the Republican Party.

What more is needed than this to prove that Mitt Romney was actively working for “gay rights” while Governor? He surely understood his Chief Counsel’s bias, and most likely, shared it. Lots more on that soon.

Meanwhile, Romney has the gall to continue to present himself to the gullible conservatives attending Family Research Council’s “Values Voters” conference in D.C. this weekend. “Protect Marriage” and “Champion Life”!!! Yeah, right.

Elena Kagan: Open Advocate for Radical GLBT Causes at Harvard

Another gem from the Harvard Crimson archives: Obama's latest Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan, participated in a "milestone" event in September 2003. As the new Dean of the Harvard Law School, she attended the school's first GLBT alumni reunion dinner. (Note the inclusion of "transgender" -- even in 2003.) Kagan is an alumna of HLS, Class of 1986.
 

Her presence at the least shows that as Dean she believed in the validity of homosexual and transgender identity-group demands, which these GLBT alumni push within the legal profession and judicial system, promoting their sexual radical goals.   

The Harvard Crimson described the event:

Celebratory at times, solemn at others, alumni and current students marked the anniversary Saturday with anecdotes about the personal challenges they faced, the battle they continue to fight to keep military recruiters off campus and the need for classroom instruction in legal issues pertaining to homosexuality.   

During the second discussion, titled "Lambda Today: Current Issues and Challenges Facing GLBT Students at HLS," a student panel expressed their dissatisfaction with the efforts that the faculty and administration are making to address issues facing GLBT students. They highlighted the University’s decision to continue to allow military recruiters on campus, even though their presence violates Harvard’s non-discrimination policy...

As the reunion’s final event, a dinner held at the Hyatt Regency hotel, HLS Dean Elena Kagan renewed her commitment to improving student life for all students on campus ...   [“HLS Holds Nation’s First Ever GLBT Reunion,” 9-22-03.]

Within a month, Kagan was agreeing with the demand made by the GLBT radical students at that reunion: banning military recruiters on campus.  In October 2003, Kagan appeared at a conference held by Lambda, the GLBT group at the Law School. The Harvard Law Record reported:

. . . much of what Kagan said was a recital of her personal abhorrence for the military discriminatory policy. She said, "I am committed to working with Lambda and others . . . on making progress for the elimination of" discriminatory policies in the military. . .

Kagan's public statement was in fact her welcoming remarks for the two-day Lambda conference, titled: "Solomon's Minefield: Military Discrimination after Lawrence and the Coming Fight over Forced On-Campus Recruiting."  

Some years later (in September 2008), she was a major participant at the 25th reunion of the Harvard Gay and Lesbian Caucus, titled “A Celebration of LGBT Life at Harvard."  She was Moderator for their panel discussion on "The State of the Law: Reflections on the Past Twenty-Five Years and Thoughts about the Future -- A discussion of LGBT legal developments and trends by leading legal scholars." Also in that panel discussion was recent Obama appointee (and noted lesbian activist) Chai Feldblum.

The HGLC group’s banner says it’s dedicated to “Organizing, Serving, and Advocating for the Harvard Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community” -- which is exactly what Kagan was doing when she appeared at their 25^th anniversary function. She is an open advocate for a highly controversial and radical cause.

Obama Administration Overrun with Sexual Radicals

It’s no secret that the Obama administration is full of socialists, communists, Alinskyites, globalists, multiculturalists, environmentalists, and sexual radicals.

But look at this brag list from the Gay and Lesbian Leadership Institute to see just how many GLBT radicals hold influential positions. They wouldn’t be on this list unless they brought their sexual revolutionary viewpoints onto the job each day. “Safe Schools Czar” Kevin Jennings has a lot of company.

"Transgender Rights" Bill to Be Rammed thru by Illegitimate Means?

In Washington, they just rammed through ObamaCare illegitimately using “reconciliation”, ignoring the Senate’s 41opposition votes. In Massachusetts, they attach controversial bills as budget amendments so they can sneak them through when legislators and voters aren’t watching carefully. That way, they can’t be repealed. (That is how they sneaked through the Commission on Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Youth in 2007, making it repeal-proof.)

We suspected this tactic might be the fall-back for the radical Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes Bill, H1728. Sure enough, that fear is confirmed at MassPoliticsBlog:

Rep. Joseph R. Driscoll of Braintree and Rep. Jason M. Lewis of Winchester have submitted an amendment to the budget to add the controversial ‘Transgender Rights‘ (H1728/S1687) Bill to the House Budget.

The amendment is written in an abbreviated form to make it less conspicuous, and the amendment proposes that the language be added as section 20, in a large budget bill, with 51 sections. One troubling aspect is that Rep. Driscoll is on the House Ways and Means Committee and in a good position to sneak the language in, and hopefully have it not be noticed by the majority of legislators when they vote on the full budget bill.

The Transgender Rights bill would change many sections of Massachusetts law designed to protect people from sexual or racial discrimination, adding the transgendered as a protected class. Among its critics the bill is called the “Bathroom Bill” because it would allow men who self identify as women to use women’s bathrooms.

Whatever your position on the bill, this is a clear attempt to circumvent the legislative process, and to avoid public debate of a controversial issue. [emphasis added]

Mark Potok and his SPLC certainly feel intense, passionate dislike for pro-family and patriot groups.

That's the dictionary definition of hate: "Feel intense or passionate dislike for someone, or have a strong aversion to something."

Therefore, Potok and his SPLC are haters, and is a designated "hate group". (We first so labeled them in March 2008.)

So now we find out that the Southern Poverty Law Center, the leftist front group that has called so many good Americans "haters",
authored the infamous Dept. of Homeland Security report last year (“Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment”). The SPLC is addicted to name-calling. (Marginalize your opponents.) They've just published a new "patriot hit list." Chuck Baldwin writes:

The SPLC is one of the most ultra-liberal organizations in the country and should be dismissed as a group of paranoid leftists, not worthy of thought or mention.

The sad truth is, however, our federal government has chosen to exalt the SPLC to the position of being its "go to" source for information regarding "potential domestic terrorists" and similar characterizations. As a result, the information and reports disseminated by SPLC wind up in police reports and bulletins all over the United States. As an example, the SPLC had its fingerprints all over the infamous MIAC report. One could even question whether the SPLC is merely a front organization for Big Brother.

Therefore, it is highly likely that the report negatively profiling 40 American patriots will find its way into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) fusion centers and be distributed to police agencies all across the country. So, should the 40 people who find themselves targeted by SPLC expect some kind of government/police attention? Are we really that close to Nazi-style persecution in America? If the SPLC has its way, the answer seems to be a definite yes.

I remind readers that in the book, Nazi Justiz: Law of the Holocaust (page 3), there were five steps to Hitler's plans for the destruction of European Jews. Step 1: Identification/registration of the targeted group as a public menace. Step 2: Ostracism of the targeted persons. Step 3: property confiscation. Step 4: Concentration of members into geographical locations. Step 5: Annihilation. In this latest report, SPLC seems quite willing to accomplish steps 1 and 2.

BAGLY and Kevin Jennings -- Outrages by a Favorite GLSEN Ally

Kevin Jennings, Obama’s “Safe Schools” Czar and founder of GLSEN, has long turned to BAGLY as an important community “support group” for “gay and lesbian youth.”

BAGLY is the Boston Alliance of Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Youth. It is a sexual radical organization currently promoting homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenderism, transsexuality, polyamory, sadomasochism, and even “sex work”(prostitution) to young teens.

As primary author of the 1993 education report for the Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, Jennings recommended that state agencies, schools, libraries, and parents refer “gay and lesbian youth” to BAGLY. (MassResistance will soon republish Jennings’ 1993 report.) Jennings’ brainchild, the “Safe Schools” program in Massachusetts, has continuously turned to BAGLY as the model for effective youth “counseling”.

BAGLY’s first and current director, Sterling Stowell, was a member of the original Governor’s Commission along with Jennings in the early 1990s. Since then, Stowell and BAGLY staffers have been speakers at GLSEN-Boston conferences, as well as at National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF) events. In January 2010, NGLTF announced its “longevity” award to Stowell -- alongside its “Leather Leadership” award to a homosexual sadomasochist.

This is the world Kevin Jennings is a part of now, and has been for the past twenty years.

BAGLY’s Stowell, is now a male-to-female transsexual, and is still a member of the Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth (and was recently co-chair). Now going by the name “Grace”, he gives workshops to young people on transgenderism and transsexuality. Until we exposed it, he posted prominent “resource” links on the BAGLY website to a male-to-female sex-change surgery site.

Stowell is listed in the infamous GLSEN-Boston 2000 “Fistgate” conference booklet as a member of its Board of Directors [p. 17]. At that conference, BAGLY led a session celebrating its 20^th year of service to “GLBTQ youth” [p. 13]. Stowell gave a workshop at the 2005 conference where the Little Black Book was distributed to young teens.

In 2005, the Boston homosexual newspaper Bay Windows reported on BAGLY’s work with youth in its early days (1980’s-90’s). BAGLY mixed . . .
… college and high school students [with] runaways, hustlers and drag queens who lived on the street. That diversity made for some interesting discussions at the group's Wednesday meetings. Klein [a founding member] said during a discussion on hustling and prostitution, members of the group who were hustlers shared their own firsthand experiences with the other youth. The discussions could also get quite heated. Defrocked Catholic priest Paul Shanley, who was convicted in February [2005] of raping an altar boy, came to a meeting to discuss sexuality and religion. The priest, who had built a reputation of ministering to sexual minority youth, did not receive a warm welcome from the BAGLY youth. “He was attacked by the kids. People were all over him,” recalled Klein. “They kept asking him, ‘Are you gay? Are you gay,’ and he said, ‘I refuse to answer that.’ ”
In 1999, BAGLY was caught paying underage teen males to join adults at a lakeside resort for “counseling”.

Every year, BAGLY holds a prom for “GLBT youth”, capping the Massachusetts Youth Pride day in Boston. Stowell guards the door to keep reporters out. No wonder: By 2009, the BAGLY prom brazenly included a “gay” sadomasochism theme, with Mr. Boston Leather greeting the teens, handing them his “business card” as they arrived.

This year at its prom, BAGLY promises to distribute dental dams, condoms, and lubricant, and “safer sex materials” as young people leave the event. From BAGLY’s recent email from Trevor Wright (4-13-10) inviting adults to chaperone the May 8 event:

We are strongly committed to upholding these rules. Anyone violating any of the above should be asked to leave. In 2006, BAGLY sent youth to an NGLTF “Creating Change” workshop promoting “sex work” (prostitution) to young teens. AFTAH reported:

There were 77 seats available in the meeting room, very few empty, with an additional 8 or 10 people standing. In the front row, directly in front of the panel, sat teenage students from Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth (“BAGLY” — “a youth-led, adult-supported social support organization”)….

One of the teenage boys on the front row raised his hand and asked: “How do you get started?” He explained: “We suspect that one of the youth in our group is leaning toward sex work. What should we do?”

The panelists did not suggest deterring the youth from pursuing sex work or encouraging the youth to think about a college education. They suggested listening, remaining non-judgmental, and perhaps discussing safety, “but not to the extent that he feels stigmatized.”

These are the people and organizations “Safe Schools Czar” Kevin Jennings and our Massachusetts government put in charge of student “safety”!

Pediatricians Warning Schools: Do Not Promote Being 'Gay'

We have lived the nightmare of GLBT activists meddling in the life of our family, and cruelly targeting a confused young child. Luckily, our personal stories have turned out well.

But how many young people are drawn into unhappy lives -- even the dangerous sadomasochist underworld -- by the twisted preaching of GLSEN, PFLAG, and their "Safe Schools" agents?

The American College of Pediatricians is right on target with their new report, "Facts about Youth." From WorldNetDaily:

Pediatricians warn educators not to promote being 'gay'

'It is not the school's role to 'affirm' perceived personal sexual orientation'

A professional organization for pediatricians has dispatched letters to thousands of school superintendents across the United States with a warning that promoting – or "affirming" – the homosexual lifestyle to young children can be damaging them.

The letter was sent just days ago by the American College of Pediatricians, a nonprofit organization funded by members and donors, to school superintendents that tells them plainly, "It is not the school's role to diagnose and attempt to treat any student's medical condition, and certainly not a school's role to 'affirm' a student's perceived personal sexual orientation."

Further, schools can create a "life of unnecessary pain and suffering" for a child when they reinforce a behavior chosen out of a child's "confusion." ... [Read more.]

GLSEN-Boston Allied with Extremist “Join the Impact” – Mingling Teens with Adult Activists

“Safe Schools Czar” Kevin Jennings has long managed to disguise the extremist nature of GLSEN. That organization became more secretive about its efforts after Parents’ Rights Coalition (now MassResistance) exposed their vile “Fistgate” workshop in 2000. The details of GLSEN’s upcoming Boston conference are the briefest we’ve ever seen.

But GLSEN-Boston is now announcing a new partnership with the extremist “Join the Impact” movement, whose regional conference coincides with GLSEN-Boston’s on March 27.

We have long drawn attention to GLSEN’s pattern of hooking up sexual-radical adults with underage, confused children. So what could be better than a regional, weekend-long (adult) GLBT activist conference merging with the GLSEN-Boston conference, where 1/2 - 2/3 of the attendees are underage teens? (NOTE: The slogan atop the JTI webpage is “Get some (direct) action!”)

We recently linked a video from the angry “Join the Impact” rally in Boston against Prop 8 (11-15-08), where Kevin Jennings apparently was a speaker. That raucous protest rally (video here) followed the November 2008 victory for one man/one woman marriage in California. The theme of the rally was that anyone opposing “equal marriage” is a “hater” and “bigot”.

Join the Impact (a nationwide effort) advocates “direct action” and “civil disobedience” for the cause of GLBT “rights” -- not just “gay marriage”. One of their clever slogans is “Stop the H8!” (Note the “GSA Network” group marching in San Francisco in this angry rally in California. The GSA Network group works directly with children in the “gay/straight alliance” clubs in schools, GSAs. GSAs are a brainchild of Jennings and his GLSEN.)

Why is this partnership between Join the Impact and GLSEN significant? It reveals the radical, destructive goals held by Jennings and GLSEN, the organization he founded and ran until his appointment as Obama’s “Safe Schools Czar.” GLSEN openly pushes students into sexual-radical, anti-family activism, including the promotion of “gay marriage” (including opposition to DOMA) and transgenderism.

GLSEN’s “partnership organizations” will be conducting “trainings” at their upcoming Boston conference. Young teens will be inducted into the Saul Alinsky brotherhood.

Join the Impact was responsible for the fascist-style attack on a Boston church (video here) last spring, where Exodus International (an ex-gay ministry) was holding a conference on the Christian response to homosexuality and those who want to leave those behaviors behind. Wayne Besen, a vicious radical (often given a platform on Bill O’Reilly’s show!) spearheaded that rally, where the demonstrators desecrated an historic Revolutionary era cemetery, and held bullhorns right up against the windows of the church, disrupting the conference with chants and blasting deafening siren noises. (Of course, the Boston cops let it roll.) In California, Join the Impact led demonstrations in front of churches which had supported Prop 8 and harassed individual proponents.

So it's not surprising that GLSEN-Boston has entered a formal partnership with Join the Impact and is openly adopting their fascist tactics. GLSEN’s conference is, in fact, part of Join the Impact’s regional conference. GLSEN plans to turn their “GLBT youth” into radicals like Besen.

How much more do we need to know about Kevin Jennings’ goals for the nation’s schools?

Confirmed Today: Gay Marriage STILL Not Legal in Mass.!

For years now -- since 2005 -- the homosexual lobby has filed and refiled its bill to legalize "gay marriage" in Massachusetts. They know that the law as it now stands refers to "man/woman", "husband/wife" relationships as marriage. Today, the Judiciary Committee once again sent the bill to "study" -- meaning, they killed it. But the very existence of this bill over the years confirms that we are correct that "gay marriage" has never been made legal in Massachusetts.

MARRIAGE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority

of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 207 is hereby amended by adding the

following new section:—

Section 37A. Any person who otherwise meets the eligibility requirements of this chapter may

marry any other eligible person regardless of gender.

Why would the Judiciary Committee continue to bury this bill? We believe they don't want to draw attention to the fact that all the "gay marriages" since 2004 are fraudulent.

The Goodridge couple, who helped start the chaos, are now "divorced".

But they never had a valid "marriage" to begin with!

They don't want the citizens to focus on the overreach by the Supreme Judicial Court. They don't want the citizens to remember that the Court (unconstitutionally) ordered the Legislature to change the marriage statute in 2003 -- and the Legislature failed to act. And they don't want the citizens to focus on the overreach by then-Governor Romney, who without any Constitutional or statutory authority ordered the Department of Public Health to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, and ordered Town Clerks and Justices of the Peace to perform these illegal "marriages".

Don't expect these jokers to tell us WHY they shelved the bill. No transparency here.

Cuba Pays for Sex-Change Surgeries: Model for Mass. & Obamacare?

The leftist dream state, Cuba, is a model for Michael-Moore leftists and assorted socialists pushing Obamacare. It serves as a warning to the rest of us.

While breast cancer screenings and elder care may go out the window if the health care nightmare bill is passed, we expect that the GLBT “protected class” will get whatever “health care” they want -- including “sex-change” operations – as they now do in Cuba.

If passed in Massachusetts, Bill H1728 would criminalize discrimination based on “gender identity.” You can be sure that would extend to transgender medical coverage demands, however preposterous. (Remember, GLAD has already won IRS tax write-offs for “sex-change” surgeries.)

Now we read in Bay Windows:

Since 2008, Cuba has begun footing the bill for the country’s transgender men and women to undergo gender reassignment surgery.

Mariela Castro, the daughter of President Raul Castro and niece of former leader Fidel, confirmed to reporters on March 9 that the country has been paying for the operations for the past two years.

"These processes of negotiation are sometimes done very quietly, so as not to stir up ghosts," she told the Associated Press. Castro is the head of the country’s National Centre for Sexual Education and is Cuba’s leading LGBT rights advocate.

An estimated eight transgender people have undergone the government-funded surgery. 22 more are said to be on a waiting list.

The country’s first gender reassignment procedure, performed in 1988, spurred such a public outcry that the practice was banned until 2007. The legislation that legalized gender reassignment surgery three years ago was not publicized, Castro said, so as not to cause controversy. She was one of the Cuban advocates who led push to lift the ban.

During his tenure as the country’s leader, Fidel Castro viewed homosexuality and sexual diversity as a corrupt consequence of capitalism.

"Gender Identity" Discrimination at Peabody Restaurant?

The GLBT newspaper Bay Windows is reporting a claim of “gender identity” discrimination that supposedly occurred at Capone’s Restaurant in Peabody in late January. What’s missing from the story, “Transgender discrimination alleged at Peabody eatery”? PHOTOS of the people! So, we thought we’d help out. Some of the major players are pictured below.

The only photo in the front-page Bay Windows story was of the empty restaurant:

There, on the night of January 29, a group of men dressed as women entered the restaurant -- and were asked by staff to leave. The photo of the so-called “transgender women's” (i.e. men's) group involved helps us understand why. Here’s the “Sisters Family” group, which was behind the restaurant invasion:

The women, members of the Sisters Family social organization for transgender women, held their normal Friday night ritual: a quick social at the bar of a local hotel, then out to another restaurant or bar to continue their evening. On Jan. 29, they chose Capone’s. It was their fourth or fifth visit to the restaurant and while they report having had experienced gender-based discrimination in the past, the women say they had decided to try and get along with the restaurant’s owner and staff. "They don’t want us using the ladies’ room," Ashley Bottoms, a member of the Sisters Family, said. "Some of the girls in our group, even though they’re legally female...I said, ’look, let’s just try to get along with these people.’" Despite the group’s resolution, they say the evening’s events held only discord and disappointment. "I guess the doorman noticed us and he came to meet us at the door so we couldn’t get in," Bottoms said. "He pointed to a sign that said you need proper ID to get into the establishment and I went, ’Not a problem, because we have our drivers’ licenses! They’ve worked in the past.’ He says, ’Well, your license needs to match what you look like exactly.’"

Since there’s a lot of talk of driver’s licenses making the trannies’ demands all OK – because they’re really “women” -- we include a photo of hack Rachel Kaprielian, director of the Mass. Registry of Motor Vehicles. Kaprielian has made a farce of official ID’s in Massachusetts, allowing unbalanced people to claim the identity of the opposite sex on their driver’s licenses. (See our report on transgender IDs here.)

Here’s what Rachel had to say on WBZ Radio last year:

DAN REA (WBZ): “. . . to get a state certified ID drivers license that allows a person to pick a gender based on the gender the individual considers himself or herself to be.” What’s that all about?

KAPRIELIAN: Well, I’m not sure exactly how he posed the question. What we’re doing, or what I should be doing. One of the things that we do with the RMV is we change with new information, and currently we have revised that policy of what’s called a transgender license, it’s very obviously a limited number of individuals who are looking to change their gender designation. We used to require the reassignment surgery. And now it’s the proof from a medical provider that the person has lived as that gender for a year, because that is concurrent with current medical practices and current laws of the Commonwealth.

According to Bottoms, despite the women’s protests, the bouncer [at Capone’s] wouldn’t relent. "One girl offered to take off her wig to show what she looked like and I told her, ’No. You shouldn’t have to do that to prove yourself to anybody,’" Bottoms said. Another transgender woman offered her license to the doorman, explaining that her DMV picture reflected the way she looks now; her long hair is natural. "The guy looked at us and said, ’but you’re wearing makeup. I can’t tell,’" Bottoms said. "And I went, ’you know that’s BS, because girls wear makeup!’" A third member of the social group is legally female, and produced a license to that effect. "And he looked at her and said, ’Nope, because you’re really a guy.’" According to Scott, those women who matched their ID’s were told "that their skirts were too short."

Hooray for the bouncer! But what’s really odd about this story is that Peabody is where the Marriott Hotel is located that gladly hosts the transgender conference, “First Event” – which just took place in January. So is Peabody a “welcoming” town or not?

Kevin Jennings Took High School Students to Radical 1993 Gay Rights March on DC – Part II

What new ideas and experiences did Kevin Jennings' high school students encounter at the 1993 gay rights march on Washington? Check out some videos from the event here (includes ACT UP), here (mass commitment ceremony), and here.

It was the first major national event to push ”bisexuality” and “transgender rights” alongside “gay rights”. The 1993 platform also pushes the notion of “youth” rights, and loosening the sexual age-of-consent laws. Excerpts from the platform:

1. We demand passage of a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender civil rights bill and an end to discrimination by state and federal governments including the military; repeal of all sodomy laws and other laws that criminalize private sexual expression between consenting adults.... Passage and implementation of graduated age-of-consent laws.

3. ... The recognition and legal protection of the whole range of family structures. ... An end to abuse and exploitation of and discrimination against youth. ... Full implementation of the recommendations contained in the report of the Health and Human Services Task Force on Youth Suicide. ... Legalization of same sex marriages.

4. ... Culturally inclusive Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Studies program; and information on abortion, AIDS/HIV, childcare and sexuality at all levels of education.

5. ... Unrestricted, safe and affordable alternative insemination.... That access to safe and affordable abortion and contraception be available to all people on demand, without restriction and regardless of age.

7. ... An end to economic injustice in this country and internationally. ... An end to consideration of gender dysphoria as a psychiatric disorder. ... An end to censorship.

A contemporary report* gives some idea of the sights and sounds confronting Jennings' high school students:

… drag queens blowing kisses, gay men with nipple rings parading in studded leather, "Dykes on Bikes" cruising down the avenues, and bare-breasted lesbians showering each other with lingering kisses.…

A review of the April 25 evening newscasts on ABC, CNN and NBC (CBS did not air a newscast that night) indicates that viewers saw a sanitized version that made the gay movement seem largely mainstream and respectable, just as march organizers had hoped….

The speakers at the post-march rally provided a stream of obscenities considered too vulgar for mainstream television. For example, a drag queen duo cracked a joke on stage about the military ban on homosexuals that was aired on C-SPAN. "They're afraid we will be demanding blowjobs in the shower," said one, "when it's blow dryers we want." Later, a master of ceremonies, praising the conspicuously absent Bill Clinton, told the throng, "I think we have a leader who is thinking with his heart and mind, and not just his penis." And at another point, a woman told the crowd that she'd like to "fuck" Hillary Clinton….

… a man dressed in a blonde wig, wearing a skimpy flag costume and high heels parading on stage…. a white man French-kissing a black man, and a shot of another man in a black mini-dress singing, "Queers Can Do It in the Army." …

Andrew Kopkind, an associate editor of the Nation who is gay … wrote … “In fact, despite the heat there were the inevitable leather chaps and harnesses, a fist-fuckers section and more bare-breasted lesbians. And a fair amount of drags sashayed down the avenues in high heels. But for the first time in the history of gay gala events, the media averted their eyes.”

… a master of ceremonies talking about "crotch politics," and a self-described "big dyke" comedienne who faked an orgasm on stage….

[A Queer Nation spokesman said] even groups like Queer Nation and ACT UP [to which Jennings belonged] made a conscious effort to dress inoffensively for the march.

A “gay marriage” website characterizes the 1993 March:

The interconnectedness of all social justice was a major theme in 1993. The stated demands condemned “racism and sexism, class bias, economic injustice and religious intolerance” as well as homophobia. The board of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People gave the march a full endorsement, which created the first direct tie between the gay rights and civil rights movements. It was also the first time that the event's title acknowledged the role of bisexuals in gay rights activism.

The “B” and “T” were officially added to the GLBT allied movement in 1993. Bisexuals and transgenders (including transsexuals) were given a huge platform for their mind- and body-bending demands. One speaker was a transsexual (“male-to-female”) attorney who told of the oppression married men face after sex-change operations:

Once a person with male genitalia is legally married to a female-genitaled person, they will remain legally married regardless of whether one has genitalia-altering surgery and it then becomes a de facto same-sex marriage. The state cannot force a divorce. The first time that I promoted this idea publically [sic], outside of the Transgender Law Conferences was in my platform speech at the 1993 march on Washington…. But many were forced to divorce and many others simply were divorced. In those cases, the fear of exposure often left the transgendered spouse to be fair game in the divorce settlement. Often children were involved, and the courts would only allow supervised visitation. [Emphasis added.]

The emotional wallop of the AIDS Quilt displayed on the Mall would surely have had a deep effect on Jennings’ students. A homosexual news service reported:

Over two million people, according to the Washington Police Dept., viewed the AIDS Memorial Quilt over the weekend of October 11-13, 1996 in Washington, D.C. This marked the first time the entire quilt, now at 45,000 panels, has been displayed since the National March on Washington for Gay and Lesbian Rights in April, 1993. … Among the vast numbers viewing the Quilt [in 1996] were 55,000 school children, each of whom had to get parental permission to participate in the visit which included an orientation to deal with the emotions they might experience or witness…. [Emphasis added.]

These are the sights and messages Kevin Jennings used to radicalize his Concord Academy students in 1993. He has surely carried these radical beliefs through his years as national director of GLSEN and to his current position as Obama’s “Safe Schools Czar” in the U.S. Department of Education.

A 2005 article in Education Week confirms that Jennings and GLSEN continued the mission of turning high school students into radical political activists.

Recognizing gay students remains an emotional, politically charged issue. But Kevin Jennings isn't out to provoke shouting matches. Instead, he's quietly turning students into activists capable of changing schools on their own.

GLSEN hasn’t grown from a one-man to a 30-person organization with a $5 million annual budget by battling his opponents on sexual orientation issues.

Instead, he’s done something the civil rights movement taught him is much more effective: He’s turned students into activists…. (Samantha Stainburn, “Straight Talk,” Teacher Magazine, November 1, 2005.)

This fits right in with Obama’s community organizing approach to transforming the country. But while Obama's community activism manipulated adults, Jennings mastered the art of manipulating children.

Kevin Jennings Took High School Students to Radical 1993 Gay Rights March on DC - Part I

It appears that Obama’s “Safe Schools Czar,” Kevin Jennings, took his high school students with him to the April 1993 “gay rights” march on Washington, D.C.

At Equality Utah’s Allies Dinner on October 9, 2008, Kevin Jennings spoke with pride of his high school’s GSA (gay-straight alliance club) participating in the March for “Gay and Lesbian Rights.” He shows a photo of them on the stage screen as he stands at the podium.

In that 2008 speech, Jennings refers of the murders of Matthew Shepard in 1998 and an eighth-grader in California earlier in 2008, both of which he blames on the “homophobia” he is combating. He then says (at 1 min. 10 secs.):

But I know that it won’t always be this way. I know that because of the young people I’ve been privileged to work with who’ve demonstrated the power of people to make a difference. [Jennings indicating photo on screen here.] This is my gay/straight alliance at the 1993 march on Washington for gay and lesbian rights. Those kids are now in their early 30’s. They have taken with them into their adulthood a belief that they can make a difference. And they are making a difference every single day. I know because 20 years ago I sat in my office and I had a young girl come up with a crazy idea [to start a gay/straight alliance club] and I saw it spread to 4,200 schools. I know because 15 years ago I sat in a state legislator’s office in Massachusetts and said, “We need a law in this state.” And now that law is in 11 states…. [Emphasis added.]

While this video snippet does not absolutely prove Jennings was with his Concord Academy students at the 1993 march, the context of his Equality Utah speech (see Part I) is the telling of his life story through these slides. It’s hard to imagine he would have missed this huge event. He was still teaching at Concord Academy that spring, and still acting as advisor to the GSA (gay/straight alliance). At a minimum, it’s safe to say he would have encouraged his students to attend the event. (Too bad no Senate confirmation hearing was required on his appointment so we could confirm such things.)

The D.C. field trip by Jennings’ GSA club is a prime example of his corruption of children. The video below exposes the obscene and radical character of the 1993 march. Note the topless women; the banner carried by Brookline (Mass.) High School students (at 3:00); the ACT UP banner at 3:27 (Jennings was an ACT UP member); the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence”; the guys singing (at 6:30) “God is a Dyke … she’ll make it on the floor with us.”

Also participating in the march from Massachusetts were GSA clubs from Phillips Academy Andover and Brookline High School. Jennings had co-founded GLSEN a few years before with a teacher at Phillips Academy.*

The march was organized by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF), an extremely radical group that has long advocated same-sex marriage, lowering the age of sexual consent, transgender/transsexual “rights”, universal health care, decriminalization of prostitution, and sexual sadomasochism. One of its founders was porn promoter Frank Kameny (who apparently spoke at NAMBLA’s 1981 convention). NGLTF worked hand in hand with ACT UP (present at the 1993 march), and led a “town meeting” on how to “fight the right.” (Video clip here; see at 2:35-4:35.)

NGLTF supports sexual sadomochism groups and presents “leather leadership awards.” Their director was the keynote speaker at a 2006 Leather Leadership Conference, where he reminisced: “I'm sure many of you remember in 1993, when President Clinton met with representatives our community, Billy Hileman from Pittsburgh wore a leather vest – what an uproar it caused.” In 2008, the NGLTF “Creating Change” conference included workshops emphasizing “sexual freedom” for youth, entitled “A Dialog with Youth: Talking about Sex and Sexual Freedom” and “Mentoring Queer Youth.”

The radicalism of NGLTF at the time of the 1993 “gay rights” march is evident in its official platform. It reveals not only radical sexual demands, but also a Marxist/socialist/statist mentality. The featured NGLTF speaker at the march challenged everyone to “fight the Right” and “match the power of the Christian supremacists.” The claim is that most citizens are “oppressed” and there is “ecomomic injustice” in the U.S.

These are the ideas Kevin Jennings was pushing on his students. In his gay and lesbian history reader for high school and college students, Becoming Visible (1994), Jennings even published sanitized excerpts from the platform.
