Mass. Tea Party Features Real Tea Bagger!

Republican Lt. Gov. candidate Richard Tisei, an "out" homosexual and GLBT activist, was the invited main speaker at the Waltham Tea Party rally on the Waltham Common on Sunday. Also included were several other statewide, congressional, and legislative candidates.

Except for being a "Republican", Tisei is the unlikeliest person to be featured by Tea Partiers. He was a co-sponsor of the Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes Bill, has a 100% pro-abortion rating, and has a disturbing record as a state senator opposing tax cuts.
Tisei at the podium in Waltham (MassResistance photo).
This fellow, however, was not welcome. When the organizers saw his sign they immediately told him he had to put it away or leave.
This RINO Tea Party did not want the truth about the Republican Governor candidate Charlie Baker to be broadcast in any way. (Baker told the Boston Globe he is “to the left of Obama” on social issues.)
Leave it to Massachusetts to hold a Tea Party rally complete with a real Tea Bagger.

Romney Bombs at Values Voters Summit

Here's a good report on Romney's poor performance at the Values Voters Summit in D.C. last weekend. Despite his failure to move the audience and his poor showing in their straw poll (coming in 3rd after Mike Pence and Mike Huckabee), we predict he will forge ahead and dump millions into the the race. It will be interesting to watch whether National Review, Tony Perkins (Family Research Council), and other establishment "conservatives" support him this time around.
In addition to his weakness on conservative social issues, Fischer highlights the horrible RomneyCare health plan he foisted on this state, with its $50 abortions. (And please, conservatives, remember that the supposedly conservative Heritage Foundation had a hand in devising Romney's mandated coverage health plan!)
Much more on Romney to come. Stay tuned.

Mitt Romney is toast
by Bryan Fischer @ Renew America (Sept. 21, 2010)

I just returned from the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., and the main takeaway is this: Mitt Romney is toast.

Tony Perkins and FRC Action were entirely right to invite Romney to speak. (AFA Action was a co-sponsor of the event.) Romney is eager to court the pro-family community, and deserved the opportunity to persuade values-driven voters of his bona fides. In this task he failed.

While one conservative leader after another — Mike Huckabee, Michelle Bachmann, Mike Pence, and Jim DeMint to name a few — rang the chimes on the importance of keeping social issues at the heart of the conservative agenda, Mr. Romney managed only one passing reference to the sanctity of life and sanctity of marriage.

On top of that, Romney's speech came across as plastic, forced, and stilted. He was the only speaker of the weekend to use a teleprompter, and at times tried to be more of a stand-up comic than a political leader. He seemed to be working to get a Las Vegas lounge act instead of a seat in the Oval Office. While other conservative speakers spoke from the heart, he spoke from a script.

But it is his glaring weaknesses on social issues that will doom his chances for electoral success in 2012. He was given the feature slot at the Values Voter Summit, the last spot on the Friday morning slate, and his speech fell flatter than the proverbial pancake. Response was polite but tepid.  ... more...

Catholic Action League of Mass. on Scott Brown

C. J. Doyle, Executive Director of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts, sent this letter to The Pilot (Archdiocese of Boston newspaper), regarding Scott Brown's election:

January 25, 2010
Letter to the Editor
The Pilot
While pro-life Catholics may justly celebrate the defeat of a pro-abortion extremist in the special U.S. Senate election held on January 19th, The Pilot story on Scott Brown's victory conveyed the impression that I believe Senator-elect Brown is in accord with Church teaching on the sanctity of innocent human life. I don't and he isn't ("Many Catholics react favorably to Brown's election," 1/22/10).
Brown supports Roe v. Wade, and as a legislator has voted for buffer zones, emergency contraception and Commonwealth Care, which includes state funding of abortions, sterilizations and birth control. The best we can expect from Senator Brown is that he will support restrictions on abortion, limitations on abortion funding, and conscience clause protections.
The longstanding and bipartisan tradition in Massachusetts politics however, is for those seeking office to accept the votes, endorsements and contributions of social conservatives during an election, and then move leftward after the election.
In Scott Brown's case, he didn't wait for election day to tell the Boston Herald that he now considers same-sex marriage in the Commonwealth to be "settled law."
Sincerely,

Taxpayer-Funded Abortions: Massachusetts RomneyCare Leads the Way for ObamaCare

Massachusetts has led the way for ObamaCare taxpayer-funded abortions. Governor Mitt Romney (with guidance from the still proud, would-be conservative think tank Heritage Foundation!) allied himself with the corrupt Democrat legislature (and its godfather Ted Kennedy) to pass a hideous mandated health insurance program here.
Gov. Mitt Romney
Here is how the "Four Women, Inc." abortion clinic (in Attleboro, Mass.) advertises its abortion services, as funded by RomneyCare:
Abortion Care:
Convenient day and evening appointments are available for abortion care. Surgical Abortion from 5.5 to 20 weeks. Medicaton Abortions from 5.5 to 7.5 weeks.
Mass Health:
Most Mass Health programs cover pregnancy termination services. Please call your Mass Health worker or the clinic for further information.
Four Women does not provide abortion services over twenty weeks, although our physicians can make referrals to a network of leading hospitals for additional assessment and care. Our goal is to work with you to find the best doctor for your individual situation.
Four Women, Inc. was recently cited for sanitary code violations by the Mass. Department of Public Health after improper, unsanitary disposal of biological waste. Now what might that waste have been?

That’s what ObamaCare will bring to the country. Abortions at “convenient day and evening appointments.” And a growing bureaucracy concerned with “sanitary violations” rather than murder of fellow human beings. All paid for by your tax dollars.

Nice looking men in suits work out the murder of babies and force you to pay. On April 12, 2006, Governor Mitt Romney signed the mandatory health insurance bill into law in historic Faneuil Hall as Ted Kennedy, later disgraced Speaker of the House Sal DiMasi (right), and Senate President Robert Travaglini (yellow necktie) look on.

Kennedy Funeral Mass a "Scandal" Says Catholic Action League of Mass.

We have no comment upon the death of Senator Ted Kennedy. (If you can't say anything good ...) But we are eager to share this press release from the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts:

SATURDAY, AUGUST 29, 2009

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CONTACT: C. J. DOYLE (781) 251-9739

SCANDAL AT MISSION CHURCH IN BOSTON

The Catholic Action League of Massachusetts today decried the scandal which occurred this morning at Boston's most historic Catholic shrine --- the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, known as Mission Church --- where a Mass of Christian Burial was used to “celebrate the life” of one of America's most notorious opponents of Catholic morality, the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy. Senator Kennedy fought for more than three decades to keep the killing of pre-born children legal and unrestricted in the United States.

Surgical abortion has claimed more than fifty-one million human lives since 1973. The Catholic religion defines abortion as an “abominable crime”.

President Barack Obama delivered the eulogy, in which he alluded to Kennedy's support for gay rights. One of the Prayers of the Faithful was a petition to end divisions “between gays and straights”.

Ecclesial participants included Rev. Raymond Collins, Rector of the Basilica; Rev. Mark Hession, Kennedy’s parish priest from Our Lady of Victories Church in Centerville on Cape Cod; Rev. J. Donald Monan, Chancellor of Boston College; and Sean Cardinal O'Malley, Archbishop of Boston, who thanked President Obama for his words and his presence. Both the homilist, Fr. Hession, and Cardinal O'Malley suggested that the late senator had found eternal salvation.

The Catholic Action League called the event “a tragic example of the Church’s willingness to surrender to the culture, and serve Caesar rather than Christ”.

Catholic Action League Executive Director C. J. Doyle stated: “Senator Kennedy supported legal abortion, partial-birth abortion, the public funding of Medicaid abortions, embryonic stem cell research, birth control, federal family planning programs, and so-called emergency contraception. He defended Roe v. Wade, endorsed the proposed Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), and opposed both the Human Life Amendment and the Hyde Amendment. Kennedy maintained a 100% rating from both NARAL and Planned Parenthood. In 1993, he received the Kenneth Edelin Award from Planned Parenthood, and in 2000 received the Champions of Choice Award from NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts at the hands of the same Dr. Kenneth Edelin, the infamous abortionist.”

During his 1994 reelection campaign, Kennedy said ‘I wear as a badge of honor my opposition to the anti-choicers’. His successful obstruction of the nomination of Judge Robert Bork to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1987 effectively prevented the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Beyond his specific positions on human life issues, Senator Kennedy, along with the late Congressman Robert Drinan, provided the cover and the example for two generations of Catholic politicians to defect from Church teaching on the sanctity of innocent human life.”

“No rational person can reasonably be expected to take seriously Catholic opposition to abortion when a champion of the Culture of Death, who repeatedly betrayed the Faith of his baptism, is lauded and extolled by priests and prelates in a Marian basilica. This morning's spectacle is evidence of the corruption which pervades the Catholic Church in the United States. The right to life will never be recognized by secular society if it is not first vindicated and consistently upheld within the institutions of the Church itself.”

Students Stand Up to Depraved "Sex Fair" at UMass Amherst

Go, UMass Amherst Republican Club! We're starting to see the spirit of resistance among our young people. They're tired of rolling over for politically correct depravity.

The club's president posted this on Facebook, responding to the announcement of the depraved "sex fair" set for May 8 at the UMass Amherst campus:

Brad (UMass) wrote at 3:55pm on May 2nd, 2008
hahahaha sexual discrimination at Wal-Mart in the same sentence as "genital cutting"...you gals never fail to bring politics into all of your health awareness activities, do you? I think this entire event is a disgusting travesty and I am proud to say that same night at midnight we take over the lawn from you and are using it for an abortion graveyard, calling attention to all the innocent lives taken by abortion. Disease and Abortion

[Comments from Colonel Randy:]

A recent Reuters article informs us that HIV is not that ubiquitous, global killer-threat as hyped by the media. See "Under 1 percent of U.S. adults have HIV: report." Some numbers/stats paint an interesting picture:
*About 1/2 of 1% of the US population has HIV/AIDS.
*About 0.55% or slightly more than 1/2% of the world population dies from HIV annually (33 million deaths worldwide).

Consider the following:
*MRSA is now being spread epidemically in the promiscuous heterosexual and "gay" communities. There are people at CDC that are really worried about MRSA becoming a killer epidemic if it breaks out of the controlled medical environment and into the general public.
*H5N1, Bird Flu is uncontrolled in the Third World and is expected to mutate into a human form soon... some epidemiologists say that it already has. This flu strain could become a plague.
*Mad Cow disease not yet controlled and the meat supply is still at risk from various forms of cattle feed supplements still on the market parts of the world.
*There are many other hideous diseases like Ebola waiting to be unleashed.

All of the above are awful but now consider the following:
* Approximately 8 million die from hunger every year and 800 million suffer from hunger every year.
* 46 million babies are sacrificed to abortion each year [0.76% a much larger percent than from HIV], that's 46 million victims who never took their first breath, never committed a sin, made a mistake or even offended anyone.

Hunger is preventable. It is publicized but we do not act. Why should we be moved to act? After all, abortion is legal and encouraged throughout the "developed" world.

Abortion is not only preventable it is criminal. You can only read this because your mother "chose" to give you life and not to have you aborted.

How much is spent advertising and providing Planned Parenthood abortion services and procedures, versus how much is spent, for example, on HIV/AIDS research?

It is said that in the news, "If it bleeds, it leads." If this is true, why are the details of HIV/AIDS published, but the tragic effects of abortion on humanity not published? Why is it still acceptable to kill innocent babies? Contradictions we will all have to answer for on that last day...
From Reuters:

Under 1 percent of U.S. adults have HIV: report
Reuters 1-29-08
About one-half of one percent of young adults living in homes in the United States are infected with the AIDS virus, around 600,000 people, the National Center for Health Statistics reported on Tuesday. The agency's snapshot of HIV infection in the United States shows the rate continues to be stable and confirms other surveys that show black men are far more likely than other Americans to be infected....
Men were more likely to be infected (0.7 percent) than women (0.2 percent). People infected with the herpes simplex type 2 virus, known as genital herpes, were 15 times more likely to also be infected with HIV, according to the report ...
Black men aged 40 to 49 had the highest rate of infection, at close to 4 percent, the survey found....

Concord-Carlisle High School Hosting V-Day Trash

The Concord-Carlisle High School Auditorium will host a performance of "The Vagina Monologues" this weekend -- that juvenile piece of theatre that needed to die years ago. But instead we're seeing its 10th anniversary celebration. We read it a few years back, and it was offensive, but mostly just stupid. It was fun throwing it into the trash.

But the enlightened feminists of the Concord area think that it will somehow help to end domestic violence if someone shouts "c*nt, c*nt, c*nt" over and over from the stage. (We suggest they work to end abortion instead. Nothing teaches devaluing others' rights better than believing it's OK to kill babies... Abortion certainly plays a role in teaching violence.)

Young women around the country are starting to see through this trash and publicly oppose the productions. (See this Washington Post story from 2006.) The Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute has an online student guide, "The Vagina Monologues Exposed." Good stuff:

We at the Luce Policy Institute believe that The Vagina Monologues trivializes the legacy of women who have achieved great things with their creativity, energy, intellect, and spirit. It glorifies social deviancy and sexual perversion and assaults and condemns men. That's why we created a special program to help you combat the widespread and damaging effects of V-Day. V-Day Unveiled seeks to:

* Reclaim the romance and beauty of Valentine's Day
* Celebrate the intellect, strength, integrity, and spirit of the modern American woman.
* Promote respect in ways to honor—rather than debase and degrade—women.

Nobody argues that violence against women isn't tragic, but V-Day has no real impact on the violence. Women deserve better than the reprehensible and degrading messages sent to them by Eve Ensler and her fellow "vagina warriors"—whose efforts effectually reduce women to their sexual organs.

Romney's Socialist Health Care Crackup

Always scheming, here's Romney surrounded by Massachusetts Democrat Socialists, including Teddy Kennedy: "Romney signed the healthcare bill at an elaborate ceremony at Faneuil Hall, but he angered Democrats by vetoing eight sections of it, including a fee on employers that didn't provide health coverage for their workers. The move allowed him to take credit for a landmark law while washing his hands of something resembling a tax increase." - Boston Globe, "The Making of Mitt Romney" (2006).

Speaking of health care in Massachusetts, don't miss this update on Romney's health care plan here, from BizzyBlog (drawing on an AP report by Steve LeBlanc yesterday):

The RomneyCare Crackup Is Arriving Early (Heavy Fines and Rationing; Also See the Various Updates) OVERVIEW: After one year, Commonwealth Care (aka RomneyCare) in Massachusetts is imploding even earlier than I predicted, due to “spiraling costs.” Punitive fines of $912 - $1,824 are to be imposed on those who would rather not participate in the so-called “grand experiment.”

In mid-October of last year, well before I learned how Objectively Unfit Mitt Romney is to serve as president, I predicted this (fourth item at link):
Let me be the first to say it:
It’s becoming painfully clear (link requires subscription) that Mitt RomneyCare in Massachusetts is blowing up, and will get nothing but worse between now and November 2008. If he’s the nominee, he’ll be playing the same game Michael Dukakis played unsuccessfully in 1988 — covering up the Bay State’s disastrous financial situation. Except this time, the other party controls the Governor’s Office. Deval Patrick will gleefully point to the mess he has inherited, and will then tout HillaryCare II as the “better, more comprehensive” solution.
For this reason alone, I believe that Mitt Romney should NOT be the GOP nominee. Period.

Why is Romney's socialist plan -- which he intended to be his crowning achievement as Governor -- not being targeted by the other Republican candidates? Back in 2005, Michael Cannon of the Cato Institute put it well: ''All around us, we see signs that government mandates and heavy-handed, command-and-control models of providing healthcare don't work and people are abandoning those, and yet the governor seems to be running toward them."

Good for Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee for going after the $50 abortion benefit (which Romney did NOT veto). But now, they should be going after the big-government aspect.

Listen Up, New Hampshire!

You've been warned about Romney before. A few days ago, WorldNetDaily published this:

"Family leaders call Romney 'disaster': Letter criticizes 'deceptive rhetoric' around candidate" (1-3-05)

A coalition of leaders on family issues has released a letter warning about what they describe as the deception being assembled around former Massachusetts governor and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

"Most of us are not allied with any presidential candidate," the
letter says. "But we are troubled by the unethical and Orwellian cover-up of Mitt Romney's role in catastrophic events in Massachusetts, once the cradle of American liberty. "Actions he took as governor were beyond the pale," the letter continued.

Signers include William Greene of RightMarch.com, Ted Baehr of the Christian Film and Television Commission, Linda Harvey of Mission America, Gary Glenn of
American Family Association of Michigan, Michael Heath of Christian Civic League of Maine, Ray Neary of Pro-Life Massachusetts, Nedd Kareiva of Stop the ACLU Coalition, Phillip Magnan of Biblical Family Advocates and others.

The letter cites seven issues seen as problematic in the Romney campaign, including a "phony pro-life 'conversion.' " ...

Romney's Endorsements Reveal Uncomfortable Truth

By John Haskins
Parents' Rights Coalition

Slick Willard's endorsements come from the strangest places. Consider the extreme cognitive dissonance in the following:

Romney has been endorsed by self-styled "evangelicals" like Jay Sekulow, "Evangelical" radio lawyer-pundit Hugh Hewitt, the Alliance Defense Fund's David French, and Right to Life's Jim Bopp -- all ambitious lawyers from the judicial-supremacy wing of "conservatism" who have actively betrayed Judge Roy Moore, Dr. Alan Keyes and many others. Add, Rev. Bob Jones and, shockingly, Paul Weyrich, to Romney's endorsers.

But nestled among them is the unabashedly militant pro-abortion, pro-homosexuality, pro-homosexual "marriage" former Massachusetts governor, William Weld. Weld appointed Margaret Marshall, the driving force behind the Goodridge decision. Romney publicly asked for Weld's endorsement, just as he twice sought the endorsements of the homosexual "Log Cabin" Republicans and the militant abortion lobby.

As governor, Weld not only appointed the most radical, post-constitutional, tyrannical liberal judges in the nation, he backed partial-birth abortion, and poured taxpayer funding into militant gay groups and into pro-homosexuality brainwashing of other people's children.

Weld's lieutenant governor Paul Cellucci, who succeeded him, was identified by James Dobson as someone who opposes "virtually everything we believe in." George Bush's nomination of Cellucci as U. S. Ambassador to Canada provoked perhaps the greatest uprising against any presidential appointment ever, easily exceeding the manufactured "resistance" to Clarence Thomas and Attorney General John Ashcroft. The media mostly refused to report that some fifty U.S. and some fifteen Canadian groups bombarded the White House and the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee with outrage. I know about it because I wrote the petition and built the U.S. Canadian coalition and led the resistance with Peter LaBarbera in 2001. Nevertheless, Romney publicly recently ridiculed the opposition to Cellucci and asked former Governor Paul Cellucci for his endorsement!

But Romney is apparently too untrustworthy and too liberal socially for Cellucci, which says quite a bit, because Cellucci gave Margaret Marshall a promotion to Chief Justice, he boosted government spending on gay propaganda to levels unmatched by any governor until Romney, and he put a Planned Parenthood lawyer on the Supreme Judicial Court.

Instead, Cellucci has endorsed Rudy Giuliani. Romney currently "positions" himself to the right of Giuliani on social issues, but his actual record is even more left-wing than Giuliani's and Cellucci's. Cellucci has privately told people that Romney cleverly imposed gay marriage unnecessarily, and that he (Cellucci) does not support same-sex "marriage" because it will weaken and harm the traditional family. A lawyer himself, Cellucci is aware that Romney used the Goodridge decision and the willing gullibility of "conservatives" to push an agenda he couldn't otherwise have gotten away with.

How do Paul Weyrich, Bob Jones, Jay Sekulow, Hugh Hewitt, David French, Jim Bopp and Rev. Bob Jones feel about being on a list of endorsers with Bill Weld -- the man who appointed the judge who crafted the Goodridge decision, helped illegally impose homosexual adoption and many radical pro-abortion rulings?

Politics do make strange bedfellows.

See "Former Mass. governor endorses Romney," Boston Globe, 12-4-07.

For enlightening background on the legacy of Weld and Cellucci see several of my articles:

Romney's Governing Style Not Trustworthy: Too Little Oversight, Too Much Absenteeism

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney is always assuring us he'll appoint excellent advisors (or judges) to help him run our government according to his supposedly conservative principles. This is highly questionable.

Look what happened here: MassDevelopment, the state's economic development agency, just granted a big loan to Planned Parenthood for a new abortion clinic in Worcester. Though the deal was finalized in February 2007, just after Romney left office, crucial earlier action was taken while Romney was still Governor in November 2006, when a $5 million tax-exempt bond was approved that "laid the groundwork for Planned Parenthood to begin planning the center..." Where was Romney's oversight then? The Romney campaign said the Governor "was not aware [the loan] was under consideration" in November.

The economic development agency, MassDevelopment, "is an autonomous authority, [but] it was controlled by Romney appointees," according to the Boston Globe. "Several of its 11-member board were top officials in the Romney administration..."

His agency appointees must not have shared his supposed pro-life views. Maybe he appointed them before he converted? And Romney's abseenteeism while Governor was a continuing concern here in Massachusetts. How would he know what was going on in his agencies if he was never around? Romney was out of Massachusetts for most of his last year in office (at least 219 days out of 365). So much for his vaunted oversight of complex organizations.

"Romney officials approved clinic loan; Worcester facility to provide abortions," Boston Globe, 12-29-07.

See also, on Romney's absenteeism while Governor:

"Report: Romney out of state 212 days so far in 2006," Boston Globe, 12-25-06:
Gov. Mitt Romney, who is preparing for a possible run for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, has spent all or part of 212 days outside Massachusetts in 2006 ... Romney plans to spend the rest of the year vacationing with his family in Utah, putting him on track to be away from Massachusetts for all or part of 219 days this year. Since announcing he would not seek re-election a year ago, Romney has traveled to 35 states and eight countries -- and been out of the state an average of more than four days each week ... New Hampshire, home to the first presidential primary contest and Romney's summer home, is one of the states he visited more than 10 times in 2005....

"Romney says new post won't hinder duties; Named vice chair of GOP group," Boston Globe, 11-20-04:
...the chair of the state Democratic Party criticized him as an absentee governor interested only in furthering his ambitions...."I've been around for 30 years, and I can't remember any governor traveling this much, except when Dukakis was actually running for president," he said.... Romney has repeatedly emphasized his commitment to serving out all of his first term, which ends in 2006.... He has said he expects to run for reelection, but has not committed to a second term....

Threats to Natural Family Threaten Peace

The Culture of Life, including the natural family, promotes peace. This is an obvious truth which many in this wacky state deny. Most on the dark side have been overtaken by emotion and passion, can't think straight, are in denial, or for some reason just won't give this idea fair consideration. But we offer this New Year's message from the Pope for those in the middle, and to encourage those of us already on board with God's plan. Excerpts from the Pope's speech to be given on New Year's Day, 2008 [from CNS News, 12-11-07]:

... the pope said the fact that a strong, healthy family is the basis of a healthy society is not simply a slogan.

"In a healthy family life we experience some of the fundamental elements of peace: justice and love between brothers and sisters; the role of authority expressed by parents; loving concern for the members who are weaker because of youth, sickness or old age; mutual help in the necessities of life; readiness to accept others and, if necessary, to forgive them....

"Everything that serves to weaken the family based on the marriage of a man and a woman, everything that directly or indirectly stands in the way of its openness to the responsible acceptance of a new life, everything that obstructs its right to be primarily responsible for the education of its children, constitutes an obstacle on the road to peace.

"The first form of communion between persons is that born of the love of a man and a woman who decide to enter a stable union in order to build together a new family. But the peoples of the earth, too, are called to build relationships of solidarity and cooperation among themselves, as befits members of the one human family.... [The family] is in effect the primary agency of peace ...

Calling for a "Mea Culpa" from Mitt Romney

An excellent summary of Mitt Romney's failure to act as a conservative when he was Governor here. Listen up, New Hampshire and Iowa!!! You cannot trust this guy. Posted on Renew America, by R. T. Neary, Director of Pro-Life Massachusetts and past president of Massachusetts Citizens for Life. (Excerpts:)

Please Mitt, at least a mea culpa
An open letter to our former Massachusetts governor
By R.T. Neary (12-17-07)

... On the campaign trail, you're asserting that you are "pro-life" because you are now in favor of overturning Roe v Wade. Are you asking us to believe that this posture is tantamount to being Pro-Life? Your current stance, which is the same as some of your competitors, is a states' rights position which doesn't interfere at all with the right to abort the life of a newly created human being. Why don't you make a firm pronouncement in favor of a Human Life Amendment, an uncompromising call for the protection of all innocent human life? This would be a genuine Pro-life position — and there's still time.

For decades, there has been a culture war raging nationally, and this state where you governed has been the site of major battles. During your tenure, over 100,000 of our future citizens were legally destroyed in this so-called commonwealth. Close to 10,000 couples of the same gender were issued "marriage" licenses, children were subjected to the vilest of sexual practices in tax-funded public schools, and one parent was jailed for voicing objections to it. Mitt, were you blind to all of this?

Are you still blind to the fact that to allow parents to donate embryos for scientific stem cell research is to sanction the willful destruction of an innocent human being? Yet, you're trying to make a fine point that you are opposed to "creating" embryos for scientific stem cell research. Sorry, it skirts the moral issue and doesn't wash. Even the scientists involved in the research have not denied to us that an embryo has all its DNA in place. All that is needed for him or her to breath like you or I do is that two conditions be met: provide the proper environment and the necessary time....

With regard to your opposition on the presidential campaign trail to same-sex "marriage," as Governor of Massachusetts, you literally had your finger on the switch. And you pushed the full speed ahead, rather than locking in the stop lever. You, as a Harvard Law School graduate, knew that the Supreme Judicial Court (SJC) had no authority under the Massachusetts constitution to pervert this millennia-old cornerstone of our society....

I reflect on the many calls I made under that Golden Dome on Beacon Hill, attempting to get support from your office for Pro-Life bills and especially a bill which would require advance parental permission for subjecting children to gross perversion in Sex Education in public schools. Never once could we get beyond the lowest contact level. Nor could we get even a discussion about the need for curriculum transparency, and the need for signed parental approval before subjecting children's minds to psychologically damaging material....

Romney's Bargain Abortions

Kathryn Jean Lopez of National Review online commented on receiving a press release from the Thompson campaign about this last week. And now LifeSite News has linked to it. It was MassResistance that first put out the info on this. (See our report, "Gov. Romney's universal health care program for Massachusetts includes taxpayer-funded abortions.")

Romney supposedly became pro-life long before signing the Massachusetts health care law --which offers baby-killing services for a mere $50.

Christian Newswire/ -- Romney claims to be pro-life. But under his health care plan, Massachusetts residents now have access to taxpayer-funded abortions for $50.

Romney's Health Care Plan:

Provides Taxpayer-Funded Abortions. Abortions are covered in the Commonwealth Care program that Romney created as Governor. Under the program, abortions are available for a copay of $50. (Menu of Health Care Services:
www.mass.gov/Qhic/docs/cc_benefits1220_pt234.pdf)

Guarantees Planned Parenthood A Seat At The Table. Romney's legislation created an advisory board and guarantees, by law, that Planned Parenthood has a seat at the table. Romney's plan established a MassHealth payment policy advisory board, and one member of the Board must be from Planned Parenthood. No pro-life organization is represented. (Chapter 58 Section 3 (q) Section 16M (a),
www.mass.gov/legis/laws/seslaw06/sl060058.htm)

Romney used his line-item veto authority to strike eight sections of the bill that he found objectionable, including the expansion of dental benefits to Medicaid recipients. Yet, he did not strike Planned Parenthood's guaranteed Board representation and he did nothing to prohibit taxpayer-funded abortions as part of his plan. Mitt Romney's Legacy in Massachusetts

By John Haskins

This insight of T. S. Eliot, Christian convert and great poet of the 20th Century, explains so perfectly the stubborn, self-serving, relentless whitewashing of Willard Mitt Romney's actions in Massachusetts by placebo conservatives, pundits, "legal experts," and surrender-addicted "pro-family leaders":

“Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don’t mean to do harm – but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.”
- T. S. Eliot

These mercenaries have squandered -- or sold -- every last remnant of moral or intellectual authority they may once have had. First as a clique, then a cabal, now almost a political mafia, they've hijacked organized moral conservatism in America and turned it into a string of commercial franchises like MacDonald's. They are capping two or three decades of blind, vision-less, rationalized faux-pragmatism (read "capitulation") with their current cover-up of the massive and fundamental damage Mitt Romney did to constitutionalism, marriage, the natural human family, and indisputable the right of children not to be laboratory rats injected with the poisonous Stalinist brainwashing of the most fanatical sexual anarchists on earth -- the scandalously over-funded sodomy "tolerance" revolution, before whose blitzkrieg all constitutional rights are being flattened.

As governor, Mitt Romney held a political auction and sold to the highest bidders the very things he now claims to have heroically defended. His lies are not marginal. They are not "spin." They are black and white falsehoods with only the faintest veneer of justification. He is a master of the "Big Lie."

He liquidated the heart and soul of oldest functioning constitution in the world. He liquidated the inalienable right of the people to rule themselves free of judicial dictatorship. He liquidated the right of every child to have a mother and a father. He liquidated the right of Catholic hospitals not to issue abortifacients, the right of citizens not to fund the killing of human babies in the womb, and the right of citizens with common sense and moral boundaries to withhold their official seal of approval from sodomy-based marriage, homosexual adoption and all the consequences that these will bring. With these he auctioned off freedom of religion and freedom of conscience.

In Massachusetts, Mitt Romney held a going-out-of-business sale for Western Civilization, and pocketed the political capital he got in return. But his precious proceeds are now slipping through his desperate fingers like worthless sand. The people are saying "NO" to Slick Willard and his "elite" Praetorian Guard of mercenary faux-conservatives.

I voted for Mitt Romney, then watched him betray everything he solemnly swore in the name of God to defend. His actual record is beyond the pale. To endorse him or vote for him -- or to even remain silent as friends and colleagues do -- is a betrayal of constitutional governance and the needs of children, and mocks the deaths of soldiers and sailors who defend our inalienable right to govern ourselves according to the values that preserve society and families.

Culture of Death Victory Near with Abortion Clinic Buffer Zone Expansion

Angry women at the State House: State Senators Susan Fargo and
Harriette Chandler [photo: Boston Globe]

The State Senate passed a bill yesterday that would expand the "buffer zone" around abortion clinics. That's the current law that denies free speech, and shields women troubled with problem pregnancies from the truth about the humanity of their developing baby.

A pro-life activist friend of mine once told me that she believes that one of the motivators of liberal anger and hatred, especially on the abortion issue, is unresolved guilt that the person carries over their own involvement in an abortion. That would apply to both the mother and father of the murdered baby. And when you think that 1/4 or so of all women in America have had an abortion, that would roughly coincide with the proportion of the population that is hysterically pro-abortion, and hysterically liberal. As long as abortion is said to be legal, their consciences are put to rest ... sort of.

Then throw in all the GLBT activists who are strong abortion proponents, for instance, openly homosexual State Rep. Carl Sciortino, who is a co-sponsor of the buffer zone expansion in the House. It's easy to understand their support for abortion, since their whole sexual existence is a denial of God's plan for human sexuality.

Amazing how this crowd can portray this as a "public safety initiative." The baby is not a part of the public that's being protected. And even that begs the question: Have you ever heard of a "patient" at an abortion clinic being assaulted by sidewalk counselors?

We have, however, heard of women (and their babies, of course) dying on the abortionist's table. (For more on that, see Operation Rescue Boston.)

Mass. Senate OK's expanded limits on abortion protesters (Boston Globe, 10-24-07)
A bill that would establish a 35-foot no-protest zone around clinics where abortions are performed won the support of the state Senate yesterday and now proceeds to the House, where at least 75 lawmakers have endorsed it.
The legislation would almost double the current 18-foot buffer zone and bar protesters from entering it. Currently, protesters may come within 6 feet of someone within the zone to provide counsel or share information, as long as the individual consents.
Supporters say the measure is a public safety initiative that would protect women from intimidation they may face from protesters and would make it easier to prosecute violators....

Holocaust Deniers in Massachusetts

The American Holocaust

All pro-abortion Leftists are Holocaust deniers. That's why they don't want these photos posted. They can't face the truth, for whatever personal reasons. And they don't want you to confront the truth either.
Holocaust Deniers: That includes Governor Deval Patrick. That includes his new appointee to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Kangaroo Court. And our recent pro-abortion ha-ha "Republican" Governors and their court appointees. And all those politicians who claim to be personally opposed to abortion, but don't think they can impose their beliefs on others.
The pro-abortion Leftists are cheering today in Massachusetts. What are they cheering? The Governor has further protected their "right" to murder human babies.
This is the American Holocaust. The "first-class jurists" our Governors and past Presidents have selected are its executioners.
Yes, today's news about Jurist Margot Botsford's appointment to the Court really upset us.
