Sen. Scott Brown Donated to Social Extremist RINO Candidate

Sen. Scott Brown gave $100 to social extremist RINO candidate for State Rep., Dan Winslow.

Winslow received the endorsement of the Massachusetts GLBT lobbying group, and that’s about as extreme as one can get. Winslow is even moving to embrace “transgender rights” demands.

Brown and Winslow have been friends since college and law school, and Winslow played a major role in his Senate campaign. But this is not about friendship. It’s about principles.

We’d hoped that Brown would be conservative across the board. He was a fairly reliable pro-family vote while in the Mass. legislature (though not pro-life).

Winslow looks like a qualified candidate unless you know the back story. It was Winslow who, as Gov. Mitt Romney’s Chief Legal Counsel, advised that marriage licenses be changed in May 2004 to allow same-sex couples to “marry”. He (and his boss Romney) changed the licenses without legislative authorization to read “Party A” and “Party B” instead of “bride” and “groom”. Winslow conducted the training sessions for town clerks and Justices of the Peace, threatening any who objected on religious or principled grounds that they would be fired or fined. Winslow and Romney unconstitutionally made law. The Supreme Judicial Court had not even told the Executive branch to do anything. (And the Legislature never has changed the statute to allow same-sex marriages.)

We hope that Sen. Brown does not agree with Winslow that DOMA should be overturned, that homosexual “rights” should be extended in all realms (including the military), and that there is a case to be made for “transgender rights”.

If Sen. Brown does agree with Winslow, why doesn’t he just go ahead and give an interview to the homosexual newspaper Bay Windows? They’ve been after him for months. Why hold back?

Sexual Radical Newspaper Bay Windows Endorses Coakley

An expected endorsement for Martha Coakley from Bay Windows -- the same newspaper that ran a story after Pope John Paul II's death entitled "Requiem for the Pope's Penis," and reviews praising gay brotherly incest and lesbian sodomy. And don't forget their transgender advocacy. (Martha hasn't.)

Bay Windows: Coakley for Senate
Wednesday Jan 13, 2010
Martha Coakley has earned your vote. During her tenure as Massachusetts Attorney General, she set an aggressive, pro-gay agenda. Each Attorney General can set her own course, and Coakley chose gay civil rights to distinguish her service. She has stepped forward and led the fight for LGBT equality on many fronts: marriage equality, transgender non-discrimination, appointed openly gay and lesbian staffers (most notably Maura Healey, chief of the Civil Rights Division), and aggressively prosecuted hate crimes. Her lawsuit challenging the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) has proven that she’s ready to take the national stage. ...

Mass. House of Representatives Did NOT Issue Transgender Proclamation

The Bay Windows headline reads:
"House of Reps. offers proclamation in support of Transgender Day of Remembrance"
(Hannah Clay Wareham, Bay Windows (11-17-09).

Problem is, the House of Representatives does not issue proclamations (though the Governor does). We just called the House Clerk who said there was no official House action along these lines on the 17th, and the House was only in "informal session" that day.  So, was the House Clerk wrong?

The Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition has posted a congratulatory document signed by Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo and two radical Reps. (Sciortino and Rushing), along with a state senator, and says the "entire membership [of the House] extends its very best wishes and expresses the hope for future good fortune and continued success in all endeavors."

Sounds like every Representative supports the transgender rights bill? and they've already essentially voted on it? Why don't they just issue a document saying Bill H1728 is hereby passed with a few signatures thrown on?

If you read the Bay Windows story closely, it sounds like a few radical Reps posed for a photograph somewhere in the State House with Gunner Scott, the female-to-male head of the Massachusetts Transgender Coalition. She loves to get her face out there.

Rep. Carl Sciortino (right), along with other Representatives and State Senators gathered at the State House on Tuesday, acknowledged the work of Gunner Scott (left) and the MTPC.

"Members of the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) and family members of those who have been murdered for being transgender gathered at the Massachusetts State House on Nov. 17 to witness a proclamation given in support of this week’s upcoming Transgender Day of Remembrance by the House of Representatives.

"Rep. Carl Sciortino (D) offered introductions at the meeting that aimed to 'honor the celebrations and awareness happening this week' and showcase the 'very real stories of struggle and pain and mourning.' ..."

Boston GLBT Newspaper InNewsWeekly Fires Convicted Sex Offender & Others

Bill Berggren, convicted sex offender, makes the news again. Last spring, the GLBT community feigned outrage when it was revealed that Berggren was on the board of Boston Pride. But we've noticed that Berggren continued to be on the staff of In NewsWeekly, in fact was its Associate Publisher, and we often found photos online Berggren had taken of events involving youth.

Now Bay Windows is reporting that In NewsWeekly, its competition in Boston's GLBT news world, has just fired Berggren and four contributors have quit. No mention in Bay Windows' story of Berggren's recent difficulties at Pride. Hmm, what's really going on here?

Photos by Bill Berggren for In NewsWeekly, from a PFLAG event. It's possible that the young men on the right are "gay" or "bisexual" or "questioning" since they're at an event supporting those behaviors.

In Newsweekly assoc. publisher fired, four contributors quit (1-3-08)
Matthew Bank, CEO of HX Media, which owns IN Newsweekly, fired the paper’s associate publisher, Bill Berggren, Jan. 2. Berggren’s termination comes less than a month after four of the paper’s longtime freelancers, including former editor Fred Kuhr and religion columnist Rev. Irene Monroe, left the paper, claiming that the paper has lost editorial focus and that they have waited months for HX Media to pay them for their work. HX Media, a New York-based company that publishes both the New York Blade and HX magazine, purchased IN Newsweekly last year.
Berggren, an eight-year veteran of IN Newsweekly, told Bay Windows that he was fired because of claims that he was selling advertising for another publication." ... While denying that he sold ads for another publication, he did say he is considering starting up a new publication....
Berggren said since HX Media bought the paper IN Newsweekly has increasingly lost its focus on local news."They just want to put all New York and Philly fluff in the paper, and they don’t care about New England anymore," said Berggren....
"In this instance it looks like Boston is losing one of its gay media options, and whenever that happens that is a sad day for the readers and the community that the newspaper purports to serve," said Kuhr.

Bay Windows Attempts Cover-Up

Lies, filth, and cruelty: Bay Windows, the extremist homosexual/transgender Boston newspaper, has attempted to cover up their role in damaging an Acton minor youth, whose mother has exposed the dangers their radical community poses to our society -- and especially to our children.

They have tried to scrub from the web two articles where they piled on in the attack on this family, and even published the child's name, working with an accomplice blog, QueerToday. But MassResistance has saved these articles, and will preserve them for posterity. (They've told at least one person over the phone that they never published the Sept. 27 article!)

Here's the September 27 piece they don't want you to see (which appeared only online, not in their print edition): "Anti-gay activist's daughter allegedly in Laramie Project cast," by Ethan Jacobs, 9-27-07, ejacobs@baywindows.com. Mr. Jacobs secretly contacted the child via Facebook, trying to entice her to do an interview with Bay Windows.

Their October 4 edition contains their own editor's reference to this Sept. 27 column, and letters responding to it, which also made their print edition. Hard to cover that up. (Yes, Bay Windows, we've preserved your online version of this too.) They also tried to scrub an earlier article, which we've saved.

Clearly, Bay Windows belatedly realized that they were on very shaky legal ground reprinting lies from QueerToday, and going after a minor child. And they still are on shaky legal ground.
