154 Mass. Companies Supporting Transgender Employees

Yesterday we posted the Human Rights Campaign's (HRC) list of perfect-scoring companies in Massachusetts, those that support every facet of their radical GLBT agenda in the corporate world. At a recent legislative briefing session at the State House, the Mass. Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) issued a list of 154 Massachusetts employers with "non-discrimination policies covering gender identity." (Apparently, there are many companies that support this concept, while not on HRC's 100% list.)

If we believe the MTPC handout, it seems to demonstrate that there's not so much anti-transgender discrimination going on out there as they want us to believe. If this many companies openly jump on the bandwagon, what's the problem? Oh, yeah -- MTPC wants everyone to be forced to think the same way, and allow no leeway to employers on whether or not they believe in the natural reality of only two sexes, MALE and FEMALE.

This long list of 154 wacky companies does not yet appear on MTPC web site. But they do post this shorter version, slightly expanding the HRC list:

Mass. Corporations Supporting Transgender Madness

In order to earn a 100% rating on the Human Rights Campaign's "Corporate Equality Index 2008," a company needs to support the craziest recent inventions of the GLBT movement: "transgender" or "transsexual" rights and benefits. The company would have to allow employees to "transition" from one "gender" to another, including medical costs, sick leave, etc. -- on the company ticket. (Most companies' benefits include mental health coverage -- and this should take care of the problem. But sadly today, there are all too many mental health practitioners who buy into trans madness, and are only too happy to prescribe hormones and mutilating surgery for their confused patients.)

Read the HRC ratings criteria. Here are the HRC recommended sources for companies to use for "transitioning" employees.

Troubled employees are not changing their sex (that's biologically impossible). Just their "gender." We think... Then again, they do call it "sex reassignment surgery." (But what the troubled employee thinks is all that really matters.) If they want hormone injections, body mutilating surgeries, and cosmetic treatments (that can add up to $100K or more) that let them pretend they're the opposite sex (or is it gender?), any company willing to play along gets a 100% rating from HRC! Here's what the company will have to do: HRC Workplace Gender Transition Guidelines.

Here's the list of companies nationwide that agree to these guidelines. (See Appendix X.) And here are the companies and law firms in Massachusetts that have bought into this insanity. (If House Bill #1722 passes, every company and government entitity -- including public schools -- in Massachusetts will have to support this!)

Massachusetts Companies & Law Firms supporting transgender/transsexual benefits (2008):
Raytheon
State Street Corp.
Bain & Co.
Boston Consulting Group
McKinsey & Co.
Bright Horizons Family Solutions [day care!]
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care [health care!]
Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance
Bingham McCutchen
Foley Hoag

GLSEN Founder Kevin Jennings Leaving Organization

We wonder why? A while back, we remember reading that Jennings was not well. Read the press release from GLSEN (Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network).

What a lot of harm this man's done. While a teacher at Concord Academy in Massachusetts, he founded the first "gay/straight alliance" which served as a model for activists around the country. His GLSEN-Boston conferences distributed the Little Black Book to kids in 2005, and promoted fisting to teens in 2000.

Under Jennings' leadership, GLSEN cleverly devised ways of getting at all the kids in our schools: the Day of Silence (April), Ally Week (October), No Name-Calling Week (next week, Jan. 21-25, in many schools), and now even the "Transgender Day of Remembrance"!
GLSEN has a formidable list of national corporate sponsors. Have the sponsors seen the Little Black Book? Do they know about the"Fistgate" incident? Are they aware of the recent transgender/transsexual push?

Thanks, Kevin, for drawing our children into your twisted and unhealthy world. Wish you'd retired sooner.

Dana-Farber Cancer Inst. Sponsors "Gay" Halloween

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is proudly sponsored the Gay Men's Domestic Violence Program (GMDVP) Halloween Party last week. The clinic's Office of Diversity sent out an email encouraging people to attend. It's odd enough when corporations sponsor sodomy, but even odder when a medical facility does so.

You can read the usual PR gobbledygook on Dana-Farber's diversity training, but you'd still have no idea that they think anal intercourse and leather/BDSM make for a "fantastic party."

GMDVP has cleaned up its web site significantly since last year, when we found these photos advertising their 2006 Halloween Party. This is the sort of fun Dana-Farber wants its employees to go and join. From Dana Farber's intranet site:

DFCI sponsors Gay Men's Domestic Violence Project's Halloween party...

We are pleased to bring you this weekly broadcast e-mail to highlight the announcements on the Intranet, DFCI Online. For a complete listing, visit
www.dfcionline.org.

What's happening this week: Get tickets to a fantastic Halloween party by Oct. 19.
The Office of Diversity and Organizational Development is one of the sponsors of the Gay Men's Domestic Violence Project's annual Halloween party on Oct. 28, from 6-10 p.m. The office has nine tickets available for Dana-Farber staff members who wish to attend. Have fun, wear a costume, and support efforts to ensure that everyone feels safe at home. E-mail Valerie C by Oct. 19 to get your ticket. Learn more about the event.

Corporate Sponsors of "Gay" Porn at Boston Pride

When Boston officials and corporations celebrate "Pride Week", what exactly are they celebrating? Here's one answer: "gay" pornography. Yesterday, Borders Bookstore in Downtown Crossing held a book signing. This event appears on the official Boston Pride calendar. The book: Hard -- a pornographic chronicle of the sexual adventures of a young "gay" male in New York City.

Are Mayor Menino and the executives at all the Boston Pride sponsors receiving promotional copies of Hard? Are they enjoying the porn, as in this online excerpt? This trashy book is so bad we can't show the cover or print this excerpt. But we encourage you to follow the links, and see what's really being celebrated this week.

Who are the government, agency, and corporate sponsors of Boston Pride who celebrate this book?

Mayor Thomas Menino
Boston City Council/City of Boston
Macy's (lead sponsor of AIDS Walk)
Borders Bookstore
Bank of America
Delta
Wainwright Bank
Verizon
Hyatt Regency Boston
Stoli Vodka
Budweiser
Boston Volvo Village
Spirit Boston
Mix 98.5 FM

Macy's Thinks Being "Gay" Means Holding Hands?

Top: Macy's offensive 2006 window display, before breasted male mannequins were removed due to our pressure (MassResistance photo). Bottom: Macy's 2007 window (Boston Herald photo).

So Macy's has toned it down its "celebration" of Pride Week in its display window in Downtown Crossing. But it's still there: the calendar, and a big pride flag.

Yesterday's Boston Herald reported that the GLBT community is still hurt by "something that was really painful for the community" --namely, by Macy's removal of its transgender mannequins from last year's window -- after our photograph appeared revealing the breasted men. Now the Herald is reporting that these were two "presumably 'gay' " mannequins, saying nothing about the odd breasts that made the window even more disturbing to normal people. More accurately, they were presumably transgendered mannequins. Why is the Herald engaging in this cover-up?

So to make it up to the GLBT community, Macy's is the lead sponsor of the AIDS Action Committee's walk today. And the Herald can report that Macy's has actually "stepped up it support" of Boston Pride. We guess the AIDS Action message they're sponsoring is still: "Go out and do it all. Have fun! Just use a condom -- if you remember; and get tested for HIV/AIDS -- if you're emotionally ready." This is how they plan to "stop the spread of AIDS."

See MassResistance's recent report on AIDS Action Committee -- and Mitt Romney's misguided donation to that organization.

Now if Macy's REALLY wants to stop the spread of AIDS (we thought their business was selling clothes?), maybe their window display should have some mannequins showing how to put on a condom properly, recommending the right lube, and sending a message about asking one's anonymous partner if he has HIV/AIDS before engaging in anal intercourse. Now who could be offended by that message? (No, Macy's, it's not just about hand-holding.)

See the Boston Herald: "Apologetic Macy’s supporting Pride" (6-2-07).

Macy’s has stepped up its support of Boston Pride Week this year, its first as presenting sponsor of tomorrow’s AIDS Walk Boston. The chain’s increased backing of the annual gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gendered celebration follows what was considered a public relations debacle last year, when Macy’s bowed to an anti-gay group and removed presumably “gay” mannequins [or were they presumably transgendered?] from its Boston Pride window display at its Boston store. The CEO of Macy’s East later apologized for the move, blaming an “internal breakdown in communication.” This year, Macy’s allowed a Boston Pride Committee member to design the window display, which went up Thursday and depicts a silhouette of two men holding hands [so innocent and sweet] against a rainbow flag backdrop, a calendar of the week’s events and the words: “Macy’s celebrates Boston Pride 2007. Pride, united for equality.” ...

American Family Association Reports: Top 10 Corporate TV Sponsors of Homosexual Agenda

Check out the Amerian Family Association's report on the top 10 sponsors of pro-homosexual programs on prime-time network TV. This corporate sell-out has two major causes:
- Activists and allies in top positions within the corporations;
- Fear of lawsuits by corporate management, due to "sexual orientation" non-discrimination laws.

The network shows monitored:
Ugly Betty, ER, Desperate Housewives, Simpsons, The Office, Brothers & Sisters, Grey's Anatomy, The Class.

The corporations advertising the most:
Ford, Toyota , AT&T, Procter & Gamble, Revlon, Glaxo Smith Kline, Unilever, Daimler Chrysler, Verizon, Quaker Oats.

Between February 11 through May 5, American Family Association monitored the top eight prime-time network programs featuring lead or supporting homosexual characters. These programs were specifically identified by the activist-homosexual group GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) as GLAAD Media Award winners, or as showcasing leading or supporting homosexual characters.

In each program monitored, homosexuality was promoted in a positive manner as a normal and accepted lifestyle. Some scenes included homosexuals kisses and bedrooms scenes. In instances where opposition to homosexuality was portrayed, the opposing character was publicly ridiculed or condemned by the other characters on the program.

Ford Motor Company was the top sponsor of programs promoting homosexuality on the prime-time network programs monitored.

Shame on Sponsors of Boston Gay Men's Chorus

We posted recently on WCRB's shameful advertising for the Boston Gay Men's Chorus Christmas concert. Now we see (in the print edition of Bay Windows) other major sponsors of this event:

MassCulturalCouncil.org [YOUR TAX $ !!]
Bank of America
M. Steinert & Sons
Stop & Shop
Yale Appliance & Lighting
The Opera House

More on the MassCulturalCouncil:

MCC receives an annual appropriation from the state Legislature and funds from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Wallace Foundation, and others. Details on our budget are available online. In turn, MCC makes thousands of grants directly to non-profit cultural organizations, schools, communities, and individuals artists, through funding programs that use arts, science, and the humanities to build strong, diverse, livable communities. The beneficiaries of these programs comprise a cross-section of the population and citizens in each Massachusetts city and town.

WCRB Promotes Sodomite Christmas Concert

Would a major radio station advertise a holiday concert by a "Sex Workers' Chorus"? Would a prominent conservatory allow its concert hall to be used for an "Abortionists' Orchestra" winter solstice celebration? Does the Boston Symphony mark with asterisks the members of their orchestra according to whether they're heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or trans?

So why does a musical performing group identified by its members' abnormal sexual practices get a pass, and worse, positive publicity? "Come join us for the happiest sodomite Christmas celebration ever!"

Boston's WCRB is advertising the upcoming concerts at Jordan Hall by the "Boston Gay Men's Chorus". Calling their event "Home for the Holidays," it includes the family-friendly "Charlie Brown's Christmas." (How will they twist that, we wonder?) How can anyone hear the ad, or sit in the audience, without thinking about what makes the performers different -- their sexual proclivities? Who wants to be reminded of that when you're thinking about the true meaning of Christmas, or just enjoying what should be politics-free, sex-free Christmas music?

We are sick of such groups constantly pushing their sexuality and sexual politics in our faces wherever we turn. WCRB ("Boston's Classical music station") supposedly celebrates the highest achievements of Western culture. We tune in to it for a reminder of what's great about our culture, and for a respite from the craziness of the social-political scene. How sad that they've jumped on this bandwagon.
