Is GLSEN "Grooming" Children for Sexual Exploitation?

Marcia Segelstein had an excellent summary piece yesterday on Kevin Jennings and GLSEN’s corrupting materials. She helps clarify what GLSEN is really up to in the schools. From , “Obama's un-safe schools czar” at OneNewsNow:

This is protecting students?  From what?  Growing up emotionally and psychologically healthy?  This is homosexual pornography, but it would be as appalling and inappropriate if it were heterosexual pornography.  This isn't about preventing bullying.  This is about the sexualization of children.


Which brings me to the subject of "grooming."  The Child Sexual Exploitation Update 2004, Vol. 1, No. 3, published on the website of the National District Attorneys Association, offers this definition:  "'Grooming' is the term used to describe the process by which child molesters build trust with the child to transition from a nonsexual relationship to a sexual relationship in a manner that seems natural and non-threatening....

Child molesters use both adult pornography and child pornography in the grooming process.... Repeated exposure to both adult and child pornography is intended to diminish the child's inhibitions..."
 


"Grooming" has traditionally been thought of as something done by individuals.  But isn't there an argument to be made that GLSEN, by advocating that children be exposed to sexually explicit material, is guilty of "grooming" school children on an institutional scale?

To Little Green Snotballs: Credible Evidence of Kevin Jennings' Malfeasance

MediaMatters' useful idiots continue to deny damning evidence of “Safe Schools Czar” Kevin Jennings’ history of malfeasance. They never deal with the evidence presented, but fall back on name-calling. MassResistance -- and now Gateway Pundit -- are tagged bigoted, homophobic, hate group, not credible, etc.

We challenge Little Green Snotballs to actually look at the evidence and tell us what exactly is not credible here:

•      Audio from the GLSEN-Boston Fistgate workshop in 2000 (where Jennings was keynote speaker), discussing fisting, anal beads, and sadomasochism with minor children.
•      GLSEN’s and Jennings’ recommended reading lists of porny books for kids.
•      Packets of perverted sex paraphernalia handed out to kids at GLSEN conferences (in 2000 and 2001).
•      Pamphlets on how a “phallic woman” should put on a condom.
•      Pamphlets showing a gloved fist pointing at a woman’s naked private parts, with instructions on proper use of latex gloves (fisting), and dental dams (oral sex) for any orifice.
•      Pornographic guide on how to “safely” engage in sodomy, fisting, rimming, and “water sports” (Little Black Book).
•      Instructions on how transgenders inject opposite-sex hormones.
•      Leather bar directories handed out at various GLSEN conferences.
•      Jennings’ and GLSEN’s lesson plans for high schoolers celebrating cruising for sex as a civil right, and “gay pioneer” porn practitioners and advocates.

The only explanation of Little Green Snotball’s denial defense of Jennings and GLSEN is that he himself sees nothing wrong with any of these activities, or instructing minor children how to join in. 

Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings Recommended Porny Books for Teens in 1994

Here’s proof that Kevin Jennings was certainly aware that his organization, GLSEN, recommended porny books for teens.  He had recommended them himself in his 1994 high school reader Becoming Visible (published by porn publisher Alyson Books). On p. 278 in his Questions/Activities section for Chapter 17, he wrote:

15. Other resources for reading are Bennett Singer’s Growing Up Gay, Ann Heron’s One Teenager in Ten: Writings by Gay and Lesbian Youth, Aaron Frick’s Reflections of a Rock Lobster: A Story of Growing Up Gay, and Paul Monette’s Becoming a Man. Films include Robert King’s The Disco Years and Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit, based on Jeanette Winterson’s autobiographical novel.

These questionable books (haven’t looked at the films yet…) have been described by Linda Harvey in 2002 (also here), NARTH (late 1990s), and more recently at Gateway Pundit/BigGovernment.com (Dec. 2009).

Also in his introduction to Chapter 17, “Gay and Lesbian Youth: Voices from the Next Generation,” Jennings regurgitates some of the points he made in his 1993 report to the Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth in Massachusetts. Sadly, that report is no longer available online or from the current Commission office – but MassResistance will soon be publishing a PDF of the original document.

On the books Jennings personally recommended in 1994:

Linda Harvey quoted from Growing Up Gay in her 2002 report:

"I released his arms. They glided around my neck, pulling my head down to his. I stretched full length on top of him, our heads touching. Our heavy breathing from the struggle gradually subsided. I felt ---" and then follows a graphic description of a homosexual encounter between two ten- year- old boys who are playmates, in a childhood recollection of Malcolm Boyd, an Episcopal priest, in Growing Up Gay, ... p.100.

Another excerpt from Harvey:

In the book "Growing Up Gay … is an episode that might have been written by a pedophile. A boy raised by two gay men describes his first experience of anal intercourse with a man he guessed to be around 30 years old. The youth himself was 15 at the time (p.111). The boy claims he initiated it. He had already had previous homosexual experiences beginning at age eleven (p.110). And here: "'My first experience was with a much older man, a friend of Derek's [his dad] ... When I was fifteen, he must have been twenty-nine, thirty ... l seduced him ... It was a wild night. We did everything."' (Young man, Eliot, telling about earlier experiences in a story excerpted in Growing Up Gay/Growing Up Lesbian)

NARTH reported on One Teenager in Ten:

Some of the Alyson publications, including One Teenager in Ten … encourage teens to, among other things, go to gay bars and have sex with adults to see if they like it.” Further, One Teenager in Ten “contains a lesbian teen's explicit account of her affair with a teacher.”

Gateway Pundit/BigGovernment.com, posted excerpts from Reflections of a Rock Lobster, including:

My sexual exploits with my neighborhood playmates continued. I lived a busy homosexual childhood, somehow managing to avoid venereal disease through all my toddler years. By first grade I was sexually active with many friends. In fact, a small group of us regularly met in the grammar school lavatory to perform fellatio on one another. A typical week’s schedule would be Aaron and Michael on Monday during lunch; Michael and Johnny on Tuesday after school; Fred and Timmy at noon Wednesday; Aaron and Timmy after school on Thursday.

From Sex Ed to Porn Ed

That was the great Dr. Samuel Blumenfeld’s title to his WorldNetDaily article in June 2000 on the Fistgate conference. Well worth a read.

What’s amazing to us is that so many in the country are just now learning the hideous truth about what’s really going on with the GLBT indoctrination in the schools, thanks to Obama's appointment of Kevin Jennings as "Safe Schools Czar." It’s not just about “respecting diversity” and “no name-calling” campaigns. It’s about graphic discussions of perverted sex acts – and recruiting our children.

But we’re glad to have company in fighting this evil. Let’s hope the “dazed acquiescence” of parents will finally come to an end!

Dr. Blumenfeld wrote in 2002:

It was inevitable that sex education would eventually become porn education, for sex education is not about education, it's about sex. Its main purpose is the destruction of innocence, the seduction of the vulnerable, the degrading of morals and the forwarding of an agenda.

On March 25, the Massachusetts Department of Education, the Governor's Commission for Gay and Lesbian Youth, and the Gay and Lesbian and Straight Education Network [GLSEN] co-sponsored a statewide conference at Tufts University called "Teach Out." … The May 2000 Massachusetts News described what took place at the workshops as "every parent's nightmare." The participants discussed oral sex, anal sex, vaginal sex, oral-vaginal sex, clitoral sex and a homosexual practice called "fisting." …

By now, everyone in Boston knows what fisting is. It's been discussed on radio talk shows, written about in the newspapers, and, needless to say, talked about in classrooms. The article in the Massachusetts News, which graphically described what was discussed in the workshops and presentations, was written by Brian Camenker and Scott Whiteman.

I met Brian years ago when he started fighting sex education in the schools of Newton. He brought speakers like Judith Reisman and Don Feder to speak to parents in a large assembly at the high school. I sat in the second row in back of a pair of young homosexual lovers flaunting their life style in front of the speakers. At the end of the program, a young minister stepped forward and excoriated the speakers for their intolerance. There was an air of pandemonium in the place. …

There is a kind of dazed acquiescence on the part of most parents to what is now going on. The governor, a Republican, is not going to stop supporting the Gay/Straight Alliance. The Democrat legislature would be up in arms if he did end support. But what is even more distressing is that parents don't care enough to get their kids out of the public schools. …

"This is a very important event," said J. Edward Pawlick, publisher of Massachusetts News, "because it has taken us over a year to explain to the people in the state exactly what is being taught in the schools, both to heterosexual and homosexual students. When we started writing about this, the establishment tried to brand us as right-wing, homophobic kooks. But if that's true, then 90 percent of the citizens are also of that persuasion. …

Jennings "Sought Out" by Porn Publisher Alyson Publications

Kevin Jennings surely must have known that the publisher of his first three books, Alyson Publications, published pro-pedophilia and pornographic works. He said he was "sought out" by Alyson. In the Acknowledgements of his first book, Becoming Visible (1994), he wrote:


Writing this part of the book has caused me more anxiety than any other. It simply is not possible to express my gratitude to the many people who have helped make this book possible ... With apologies to anyone omitted, here we go!


The obvious place to begin is with Alyson Publications. First, Sasha Alyson had the vision to conceive of this project, and I had the good luck to be the person he sought out to complete it. I am deeply appreciative of being afforded this opportunity.

We've pointed out Alyson's promotion of pornography. Americans for Truth (www.AFTAH.org) has exposed Alyson's history of pro-pedophilia publications. From AFTAH's earlier research, first published in the Lambda Report (1993):


Alyson Publications of Boston, which created Daddy’s Roommate, Heather Has Two Mommies, and other pro-homosexual children’s books, also publishes such works as:

• Macho Sluts, a collection of short stories including one in which a lesbian has sadomasochistic sex with her own 13-year-old daughter;
• The Age Taboo, an anthology of arguments for pedophilia; and
• Pedophilia: The Radical Case;  and a range of other books.

“It’s outrageous that the same company that markets books that condition children to accept homosexuality also peddles instructions on how pedophiles can have sex with children without getting caught,” said Lambda Report editor Peter LaBarbera.  “We hope to balance the debate in school districts across the country that are considering these books in their curriculum.”
When questioned by Lambda Report about the pro-pedophile views in his adult books, publisher Sasha Alyson said, “I think it’s something that is a legitimate area for exploration.”  He declined to discuss further his views on pedophilia.


Surely Jennings would have been aware of Alyson's portfolio before he decided to partner with the company.

In his Acknoweldgements, Jennings also thanks his homosexual activist partner at the time, Bob Parlin:


Bob, I simply have no words to say how I feel. "Thanks" will have to suffice.

And he dedicated Becoming Visible to his mother -- and to "Bob, who taught me how to love." 


Bob was at that time, and is now, a teacher at Newton South High School in Massachusetts, and has been a major force pushing homosexuality on the student body there. He had the support of the Principal, Van Seasholes, an early supporter of Jennings' GLSEN (then GLSTN). Newton South was the first public high school that we know of to have a "gay straight alliance" club (GSA).

Kevin Jennings’ GLSEN Promotes Pornography to Children

Obama’s “Safe Schools” czar, Kevin Jennings, founded and led GLSEN for 18 years. A current GLSEN lesson plan for “LGBT History” -- intended for schoolchildren – celebrates gay and lesbian activists from the 1950s and ’60s. It recommends the film “Gay Pioneers” which profiles several practitioners and promoters of pornography.

GLSEN recommends “Gay Pioneers” for classroom use, for showing at a Gay-Straight Alliance club meeting (invite other clubs!), for a school assembly, or for donation to the school library. 

(In the past, GLSEN’s website has recommended readings for children describing -- and implicitly endorsing -- adult-child sex and sexual experimentation at early ages. See Linda Harvey's research here and here.) 

Imagine teenagers hearing about these sex-obsessed “gay pioneers” (who are portrayed as heroic “civil rights” leaders), then doing a web search as they answer their homework questions. They’d quickly turn up the following fun facts on four of those profiled:

Franklin Kameny: 

Recently honored by Obama at the White House, Kameny is founder and president of National Consumers Association for the Advancement and Protection of Pornography, Inc. “Let us have more and better enjoyment of more and better and harder-core pornography by those to whom such viewing provides happiness.” 

Kameny does not deny he spoke at a NAMBLA convention in 1981 and says that as a “First Amendment absolutist … I support NAMBLA’s right to advocate whatever they wish, including advocacy of changes of law to legalize their preferences…” 

Kameny even wrote: “Bestiality is not my thing … But it seems to be a harmless foible or idiosyncrasy of some people. So, as long as the animal doesn’t mind (and the animal rarely does), I don’t mind, and I don’t see why anyone else should.” Kameny is “revered by homosexual activists for his role in pressuring the American Psychiatric Association to effectively reclassify homosexuals as normal.”

Jack Nichols:

 

Nichols was a Mattachine Society member who edited and wrote for the pioneering pornographic magazine Screw. A sample of his writing:

“Prior to SCREW and [its publisher] Al Goldstein, such [porn and sex toy] stores and their hardcore merchandise were unknowns. SCREW was the world's first publisher of newspaper nude frontals, both male and female. It was also the world's first newspaper to publish nude photos of males making love. I was one of those two males.... 

"My re-start [at SCREW] began in 1987 when I sought a place to vomit uncensored onto Ronald Reagan's AIDS-phobic lap. Now, eleven years later, I continue to grind this column out under the heading: ‘Homosexual Anarchist.’  In 1992, when Clinton ran for president, I suggested SCREW's readers support him. ‘Hillary and Bill,’ I exulted, 'are probably the closest thing we'll ever get to swingers in the White House.' The photo that accompanied that column was a composite. The heads of the candidates had been chopped and placed on other bodies. Nancy Tucker:

“… created the Gay Blade in the fall of 1969 Having seen the need for a gay community newsletter in Washington, DC, the Mattachine Society of Washington asked Nancy Tucker and Bart Wenger (known by the pseudonym Art Stone) to co-edit the planned periodical. …Nancy turned GWA [Gay Women’s Alternative] programming towards 'sex and shrinks', as she puts it, and as a result membership and revenues turned around.  The most popular event was an evening discussion and showing of lesbian pornography.” [Source: Rainbow History.]

Randolfe Wicker:

 

“GayToday's staff writer and pioneer cloning rights champion, Randolfe Wicker, whose counterculture button shop on St. Mark's Place became the first store to sell copies of SCREW, wrote an trailblazing article at the request of Goldstein explaining how best to violate New York state's now-defunct sodomy laws. Titling it ‘Up the ass is a Gas!’ Wicker began by saying: ‘Now listen, sports fans, if you're ever going to be proficient at fucking, you've got to be fucked.’ ”  [Source: Gay Today, 1997-98 archive.]

These are the “civil rights” leaders Kevin Jennings and his organization GLSEN hold up to children as worthy of emulation.

Kevin Jennings, Harry Hay, and Pornography

We recently revealed that “Safe Schools” czar Kevin Jennings’ activism involved membership in the extremist group Act Up. Here, we will look at his early “intellectual” profile. Kevin Jennings:

·       Idolized NAMBLA supporter Harry Hay, devoting a whole chapter to him in his gay and lesbian reader.  

·       Published his first books with Alyson Publications -- known for its pornography. Alyson also published books PROMOTING PEDOPHILIA. See Americans for Truth for more detail. 

·       Includes propagandistic and sexually-charged teaching materials in his gay history reader (for high school students), Becoming Visible.

The zombietime blog has done a great service here and here, posing questions Jennings' defenders don't want to deal with concerning his unrepentant praise of pioneering gay activist and NAMBLA supporter, Harry Hay. Zombietime has made an airtight case that Jennings would have known all about Hay’s love of “man-boy love” when he praised him in 1997. Jennings was editor of a sourcebook in gay and lesbian history for high school and college students, Becoming Visible, which portrays Hay as the ultimate hero fighting against the “oppression” of gays. (Despite all the evidence zombietime compiled damning Jennings, they still want to help him salvage his career!)

Jennings’ first three books -- Becoming Visible, One Teacher in Ten, and Telling Tales Out of School -- were all published by Alyson Publications. Alyson is a publisher of gay and lesbian pornography – and the famous indoctrination picture books for the Kindergarten set, Heather Has Two Mommies and Daddy’s Roommate. “Some of the Alyson publications, including One Teenager in Ten [1983] … encourage teens to, among other things, go to gay bars and have sex with adults to see if they like it.” One Teenager in Ten “contains a lesbian teen's explicit account of her affair with a teacher.” Alyson’s later Two Teenagers in 20 (1995) “glamorizes raunchy sex between young teens and their ‘lovers,’ and casual sex between youths and older adults” and gives “advice on getting into gay bars illegally.”

Back to Alyson Publications' pornography. It seems odd that a high official in the Obama Education Department would be published by the same company that put out titles including:

·       Dorm Porn: Raunchy Tales Of Boys On Campus

·       Lesbian Sadomasochism Safety Manual

·       Doing It for Daddy: Short Sexy Fiction About a Very Forbidden Fantasy

·       Secret Slaves: Erotic stories of bondage

·       Hu$tler$: Erotic stories of sex for hire

·       My First Time  (“men… describing their first consensual [hmm…] same-sex experience”)

·       First Timers: True stories of lesbian awakening (“first-time strap-ons, spankings, and role-playing”)

So when we examine Jennings’ gay and lesbian history teaching aids for high school and college classes, we shouldn’t be surprised that he focuses those young minds (as early as 13 years old!) on Harry Hay’s campaign against “police brutality” and “oppression” of homosexuals in “entrapments.” (See Becoming Visible, Chapter 11, “Harry Hay and the Beginnings of the Homophile Movement.”).  A 1952 California “entrapment” case (where coincidentally the accused was named Jennings) became a focus for the new gay activist movement, and is held out to children (along with the Stonewall riots) as a heroic moment in American history. Having anonymous sodomy in restrooms is a “right” to be fought for, according to Hay – and Jennings -- and any attempt by society to enforce traditional norms is called “oppression”.

In his introduction to the unit on Hay, Jennings generates sympathy with the young readers, excusing Hay’s “idealist” membership in the Communist Party as “driven by a desire to better things for disadvantaged Americans.” Gays were victims, and Hay’s genius was to see an opportunity for a political movement fighting for his “oppressed minority”. “Growing oppression often creates growing resistance,” wrote Jennings.

Jennings’ student discussion topics on Hay include the police “entrapment” of a gay man involved in "cruising" for sex -- gay men engaging in anonymous sodomy in public bathrooms or public parks.  Students are told that such arrests amount to “financial and emotional lynching” of gays. Imagine what this topic would actually mean in a classroom discussion with children as young as 13.

When Jennings taught in Concord Academy (just prior to his editing this book), “no stories were forbidden.” His organization GLSEN held Boston conferences where children discussed fisting and tribadism (“Fistgate” in 2000) and handed out the pornographic Little Black Book (2005) to minor children. His Seattle GLSEN chapter linked children directly with pornography on their web site. So Jennings' pattern of leading children to age-inappropriate, hard-core sexual subject matter is clear.

What were Jennings’ suggested discussions for high school students in his chapter on Harry Hay? Here are the terms they needed to know, and some of the suggested topics (pp. 178-180):

·       Harry Hay

·       Daughters of Bilitis

·       Mattachine Society

·       Kinsey Report

·       Police entrapment

·       1. Recreate the scene in the apartment the night Harry Hay first gets the idea for a gay-rights organization. This can be done by: writing a “sales pitch” that Hay delivers to prospective members; role-playing the parts of Hay and the partygoers; or writing diary entries from the point of view of Hay and others, as if you have just gotten home from the party.

·       5. Hay’s most important contribution in the eyes of many was his notion that gays were a “cultural minority.” What does this mean? Why would it be important? (You may want to look at the life of Ulrichs in Chapter 7 for a comparison.)

·       9. The key argument Hay came up with in the groundbreaking [Dale] Jennings [entrapment] case was that Jennings had been homosexual but not “lewd or dissolute.” What made this a dramatic new argument at the time?

·       12. Every minority group has debated the “assimilation or resistance” question. Put yourself in the late 1950s and imagine you are a member of Mattachine or DOB [Daughters of Bilitis]. Justify your group’s political strategies. Others can represent a more “resistance” point of view. [Act Up for example?] After a debate, vote on which argument would be more convincing, given the conditions in the United States for gays of that period.

Note the technique of drawing the student -- whether “gay” or straight -- into a gay or lesbian identity in these exercises. And clearly, students are forced to engage in vivid thinking and discussion about gay sex practices. What, after all, was the accused doing when the policeman arrested him? Further, extremist political activism is held up as worthy of emulation, and students are directed to think along those lines.

Jennings never really answers his own question (in his Introduction to Becoming Visible), “Why teach gay history?” He does say, “it is intellectually dishonest not to do so” (whatever that means), and it will “help our students create a better society.” He equates gay history with African-American history and women’s history, totally ignoring the fact that homosexuality is not an innate characteristic (as are race and sex), and that the subject deals with the morally sensitive issue of sexual behavior.

Perhaps the honest answer to his question was that Jennings was “filled with rage.” From his introduction:

“I thought back over my twelve years in North Carolina public schools and my four years at Harvard University, sixteen years when I never once learned anything in a classroom about gay people or gay history, and I was filled with rage. Denying me that history had nearly cost me my life, for gay invisibility had helped create the feelings of isolation that had made me want to end it all.”

Jennings refers to himself as an “historian” (in his introduction). It appears he’s more of a propagandist for a sorry cause: the moral perversion of youth, and the spreading of a myth that our “heterosexist” culture is to blame for all the psychological, emotional and physical sufferings of gays and lesbians.

More on Romney & Marriott Porn

We were pleased to see James Dobson's Focus on the Family has addressed the Romney-Marriott Hotels-porn issue. See our post on this yesterday. And listen to the audio of today's "Family News in Focus" (7-5-07): Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, an outspoken critic of pornography, is called to task for his ties to Marriott hotels; a chain that makes money by providing porn to guests.

Then we saw this AP report: "Romney criticized for hotel pornography" which includes the usual Romney prevarications. Note that he's not against the porn in the hotel rooms, but is only worried about kids accidentally stumbling on it!

During a recent Associated Press interview, Romney said he did not recall pornography coming up for discussion while he was on the Marriott board from 1992 to 2001. Despite being chairman of the board's audit committee, he also said he was unaware of how much revenue pornography may have generated for the hotel chain.

Romney said his current concern is not about pornography per se, but children unwittingly stumbling upon it on the Internet or television. "I am not pursuing an effort to try and stop adults from being able to acquire or see things that I find objectionable; that's their right. But I do vehemently oppose practices or business procedures that will allow kids to be exposed to obscenity," the former Massachusetts governor said.

Funny, he didn't have a problem with his Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth introducing Massachusetts children to obscenity.

Mitt Romney and Marriott Hotels Pornography

How much money has Romney made on hotel porn sales?

While Mitt Romney served on the Marriott Hotels Board of Directors for ten years in the 1990s, he benefitted financially from the chain's profiteering on hard-core pornography (available via in-room TV). If we break down Marriott profits during the period when Romney was involved, how much money did this devout Mormon make from porn purchases?

Romney has broken all records for talking out of all sides of his many mouths. Consider, he:

* is supposedly a devout Mormon, yet has shown not one consistent commitment on any single moral issue in his entire career;

* promised to "be more effective in advancing the homosexual revolution than ..." Ted Kennedy -- the one promise in his entire political career which he clearly has followed through on -- yet he now campaigns as a hero of traditional values;

* said both that homosexuals have a right to be scoutmasters, and conversely, that the Scouts have a right to exclude homosexual adults;

* says both that homosexuals have a right to adopt children, and conversely, that children have a right to both a father and a mother;

* claims to oppose "activist judges" and called the Goodridge decision "tyrannical," yet conversely, treated it not as the mere declaratory judgment it admitted to be, but as if it were a law overriding statutes and binding on the people (against the Massachusetts Constitution);

* claims to be "pro-life" yet opposes protecting human life with a federal amendment -- citing strangely enough a states' rights federalism that he contradicts by pretending to back a federal marriage amendment (which merely draws attention away from his unconstitutional orders to public officials to perform sodomy-based "marriage" though they still violate the law).

Mitt Romney is among the most the most obviously fraudulent, demagogic liars in over two centuries of American politics. His polish and brazenness exceeds that of the infamous "Slick Willie" Clinton. Those falling for his surreal p.r. campaign will someday realize that Romney and his political handlers are snickering at the endless ability of pro-establishment social conservatives to swallow lies.

Appearances aside, Romney's true religion has never been Mormonism, but mammonism. And as he quietly spreads around his lucre buying support, he's been finding out how easily the "elite" of social conservatism can be bought off. And that is one reason why he gets the kid-gloves treatment from "pro-family" media, pundits, lawyers and groups that purport to have a pro-family, socially conservative, constitutionalist commitment and world view.

ROMNEY: CBN's Brody reports on an issue that could get traction in evangelical circles in the South: "Some anti-pornography groups are demanding answers as to how much presidential candidate Mitt Romney knew about the Marriott hotel chain's profits of pornography sales during his nearly ten years on the Board of Directors in the 1990s. The hotel chain is one of many that offer pay-per-view sex videos for sale through in-room entertainment."

During his run for President, Romney has campaigned on a platform of "family values" recently telling a graduation class, "Pornography and violence poison our music and movies and television and video games." Some of these conservative grassroots activists want to know whether he spoke up or tried to put a stop to Marriott's business dealings back then.

Phil Burress, founder of Citizens for Community Values has been fighting hotel chains for decades on this issue. He tells The Brody File that every month a group of roughly 15 anti-pornography leaders meet in Washington to discuss the latest happenings. Mitt Romney's Marriott connection has come up repeatedly. "Ever since he announced president, it's been a topic of discussion."

Mitt Romney's campaign told CBN the following: "Governor Romney's role as board member was in an advisory capacity on financial matters related to the company and, obviously, he did not have a role in the day-to-day operations or decisions of individual franchise holders."

John Harmer, President of the anti-pornography group The Lighted Candle Society and the former Lieutenant Governor of California under Ronald Reagan isn't buying it. He wants to hear more. "My attitude toward board members is that they are fully responsible," Harmer said. "They knew exactly what they were receiving. I don't think any board member under any rationale could claim ignorance. You're either a board member or not. I can't imagine a board member going a full year and not receiving a revenue report from the company."

Previous news accounts researched by The Brody File show that Romney was paid more than $100,000 per year while on the board of Marriott. When he left in 2002, J.W. Marriott, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Marriott International, called him, "an active, hands-on Director… From his first days on our Board nine years ago, Mitt has been an extraordinarily effective director and visionary leader."

Mitt Romney has a very close relationship with the Marriott family.

Note: One Michael Marriott is a big-time homosexual activist in Salt Lake City, and was largely responsible for bringing GLBT volunteers into the Salt Lake City Olympics while Mitt Romney was in charge. And oh yes, the Boy Scouts were denied a big role in that same Olympics for some reason.

Corporate Sponsors of "Gay" Porn at Boston Pride

When Boston officials and corporations celebrate "Pride Week", what exactly are they celebrating? Here's one answer: "gay" pornography. Yesterday, Borders Bookstore in Downtown Crossing held a book signing. This event appears on the official Boston Pride calendar. The book: Hard -- a pornographic chronicle of the sexual adventures of a young "gay" male in New York City.

Are Mayor Menino and the executives at all the Boston Pride sponsors receiving promotional copies of Hard? Are they enjoying the porn, as in this online excerpt? GLSEN Boston's MySpace Update

GLSEN (the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network) portrays itself as a leader in the struggle for "civil rights" for GLBT youth, especially in our schools. They demonstrated their commitment by handing out the Little Black Book to young teenagers at their annual conference in 2005.

The second "friend" still posted on GLSEN Boston's MySpace is now calling itself "Reverend C**kvomit". This anti-religion name alone is such an outrage that schools across Massachusetts should immediately ban GLSEN from their premises, instead of giving them free and privileged access through the GSAs ("gay" clubs in the high schools), the Day of Silence, "diversity training" sessions for staff, etc.

While the "friend" space has cleaned itself up a little (removing hardcore pornographic images), there are still soft-porn images, Satanic symbols, and horrific culture-of-death photos.

We've pointed out before that in its essence, the GLBT scene is a part of the larger CULTURE OF DEATH. The fact that GLSEN will not block this "friend" from its MySpace, which appeals directly to children and teenagers, confirms this.

GLSEN Boston MySpace Pushing Pornography on Kids

[5-21-07 Note: Over the weekend, the "friend" site linked below removed some of the worst pornographic and other disturbing images. We did save the original page, however, should we ever need to bring it to the attention of the public. The name and site is still vile, and GLSEN should be ashamed.]

Look at GLSEN Boston's MySpace (their web presence appealing to teens). The second "friend" is nothing more than disturbing images, some horribly pornographic. We can't even print its title (C***vomit).

But wait ... We thought the GLBT activists were concerned with making "safe places" for "GLBT youth"!? We even asked the organizer of the BAGLY prom at Youth Pride how this pornography could possibly be linked to their ally's MySpace -- if their groups were all about promoting safety. And posted notice of its presence on that site two weeks ago. It's still there. Those in charge of GLSEN's MySpace would block it if they wanted to.

Since GLSEN is the organization that . . .

- put on the Fistgate seminar (teaching young teens about that very intimate practice of "fisting") in 2000;
- handed out the Little Black Book at its conference at Brookline High School in 2005;
- sponsors the Day of Silence;
- helps the GSAs (gay clubs in the high schools);
- promotes the concept of "Safe Schools"

. . . have they linked this pornography intentionally?

GLSEN Boston's MySpace also links to their friends at Boston Dyke March. It was at the Dyke March that the infamous photo of the young women with their breasts cut off, bearing their scars, was taken (by Bay Windows). We assume this means GLSEN Boston is recommending young teen girls consider all such possibilities Dyke March lists: "Who I'd like to meet: lesbians - dykes - bi-women - boychicks - tomboys - grrrls - lesbian moms - femmes - butches - transwomen - androgs - queer women - gay girls - womanists - sororitygirls with pearls who are sleeping together - dykes on bikes - lesbian crones - african american lesbians - rural dykes - poly girls - amazons - hippy chicks - lipstick lesbians - asian dykes - deaf dykes - dykes in wheelchairs - wise old lesbians - leather dykes - babydykes - YOU!!!"
