BAGLY and Kevin Jennings -- Outrages by a Favorite GLSEN Ally

Kevin Jennings, Obama’s “Safe Schools” Czar and founder of GLSEN, has long turned to BAGLY as an important community “support group” for “gay and lesbian youth.”
BAGLY is the Boston Alliance of Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Youth. It is a sexual radical organization currently promoting homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenderism, transsexuality, polyamory, sadomasochism, and even “sex work”(prostitution) to young teens.

As primary author of the 1993 education report for the Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, Jennings recommended that state agencies, schools, libraries, and parents refer “gay and lesbian youth” to BAGLY. (MassResistance will soon republish Jennings’ 1993 report.) Jennings’ brainchild, the “Safe Schools” program in Massachusetts, has continuously turned to BAGLY as the model for effective youth “counseling”.

BAGLY’s first and current director, Sterling Stowell, was a member of the original Governor’s Commission along with Jennings in the early 1990s. Since then, Stowell and BAGLY staffers have been speakers at GLSEN-Boston conferences, as well as at National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF) events. In January 2010, NGLTF announced its “longevity” award to Stowell -- alongside its “Leather Leadership” award to a homosexual sadomasochist.
Grace

This is the world Kevin Jennings is a part of now, and has been for the past twenty years.
BAGLY’s Stowell, is now a male-to-female transsexual, and is still a member of the Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth (and was recently co-chair). Now going by the name “Grace”, he gives workshops to young people on transgenderism and transsexuality. Until we exposed it, he posted prominent “resource” links on the BAGLY website to a male-to-female sex-change surgery site.
Stowell is listed in the infamous GLSEN-Boston 2000 “Fistgate” conference booklet as a member of its Board of Directors [p. 17]. At that conference, BAGLY led a session celebrating its 20th year of service to “GLBTQ youth” [p. 13]. Stowell gave a workshop at the 2005 conference where the Little Black Book was distributed to young teens.

“Grace” Sterling Stowell (left), BAGLY director and long-time Kevin Jennings associate, cheering kids on at a Youth Pride parade.

In 2005, the Boston homosexual newspaper Bay Windows reported on BAGLY’s work with youth in its early days (1980’s-90’s). BAGLY mixed . . .
… college and high school students [with] runaways, hustlers and drag queens who lived on the street. That diversity made for some interesting discussions at the group's Wednesday meetings. Klein [a founding member] said during a discussion on hustling and prostitution, members of the group who were hustlers shared their own firsthand experiences with the other youth. The discussions could also get quite heated. Defrocked Catholic priest Paul Shanley, who was convicted in February [2005] of raping an altar boy, came to a meeting to discuss sexuality and religion. The priest, who had built a reputation of ministering to sexual minority youth, did not receive a warm welcome from the BAGLY youth. “He was attacked by the kids. People were all over him,” recalled Klein. “They kept asking him, ‘Are you gay? Are you gay,’ and he said, ‘I refuse to answer that.’ ”
In 1999, BAGLY was caught paying underage teen males to join adults at a lakeside resort for “counseling”.

Teen boy at Mass. Youth Pride.

Every year, BAGLY holds a prom for “GLBT youth”, capping the Massachusetts Youth Pride day in Boston. Stowell guards the door to keep reporters out. No wonder: By 2009, the BAGLY prom brazenly included a “gay” sadomasochism theme, with Mr. Boston Leather greeting the teens, handing them his “business card” as they arrived.

What Jennings and Stowell preach: Transgenderism at Mass. Youth Pride parade 2007. A huge "transwoman" mentoring trans “bois”.
This year at its prom, BAGLY promises to distribute dental dams, condoms, and lubricant, and “safer sex materials” as young people leave the event. From BAGLY’s recent email from Trevor Wright (4-13-10) inviting adults to chaperone the May 8 event:
BAGLY IS FREE OF:
·      Alcohol
·      Drugs
·      Sex
·      Violence
·      Weapons
·      Pressure/Harassment
We are strongly committed to upholding these rules. Anyone violating any of the above should be asked to leave. In addition, City Hall has stated that no condoms, dental dams, lube or explicit safer sex materials are allowed in the building. Anyone handing out such materials should be asked to leave. BAGLY will be distributing these items to all youth as they leave the Prom. [emphasis added]
Americans for Truth has just reported that this year’s National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF) “Creating Change” conference (Feb. 2010) included a workshop presented by BAGLY called “Young and Poly”. From the NGLTF program:
Young and Poly - Sexual Freedom
Polyamory being one of the more marginalized identities of our community, young people need a safe space to be validated within their truths. Being young and poly even in the “queer” community is impacted by a hetero-normative model of family and relationships. This caucus is not designed as a poly 101 but is designed for young people that identify on the poly spectrum to voice shared experiences and learn from one another.
Presenters: Daunasia Yansey, BAGLY [Boston Alliance for Gay and Lesbian Youth], MA
Americans for Truth explains:
The above is taken from the program guide (p. 73) of the 2010 National Gay and Lesbian Task Force’s“Creating Change” conference, held in Dallas, Texas, February 3-7, 2010. Presenter Daunasia Yansey is also an activist with the Boston Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP), affiliated with SWOP-USA, which advocates for the decriminalization of prostitution.
“Sexual Freedom” is a track at the Creating Change conference denoting the latest stage in the Sexual Revolution: rights and recognition for various “alternative lifestyles” beyond homosexuality-bisexuality-transgenderism, including sadomasochism, “swingers,” and polyamory and fetish “communities.” The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF) was founded in 1973 and is the oldest national homosexual “rights” organization in the United States.

Good clean fun? Or practicing to be a sex worker? At the BAGLY prom, 2007.
In 2006, BAGLY sent youth to an NGLTF “Creating Change” workshop promoting “sex work” (prostitution) to young teens. AFTAH reported:
There were 77 seats available in the meeting room, very few empty, with an additional 8 or 10 people standing. In the front row, directly in front of the panel, sat teenage students from Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth (“BAGLY” — “a youth-led, adult-supported social support organization”)….
One of the teenage boys on the front row raised his hand and asked: “How do you get started?” He explained: “We suspect that one of the youth in our group is leaning toward sex work. What should we do?”
The panelists did not suggest deterring the youth from pursuing sex work or encouraging the youth to think about a college education. They suggested listening, remaining non-judgmental, and perhaps discussing safety, “but not to the extent that he feels stigmatized.”
These are the people and organizations “Safe Schools Czar” Kevin Jennings and our Massachusetts government put in charge of student “safety”!

Why Did MassResistance/PRC Tape "Fistgate"?

Why did the Parents’ Rights Coalition (now MassResistance) decide to tape the 2000 GLSEN-Boston workshop, AKA “Fistgate”?
Below is then-director Scott Whiteman’s December 1999 testimony before the Massachusetts State Board of Education – just months before the March 2000 GLSEN event. State education officials ignored it as not credible.  Read this testimony with the hindsight offered by our Fistgate audio tapes.
Whiteman refers to BAGLY (Boston Alliance of Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Youth) – whose director was a founding member of the Governor’s Commission, a close working ally of Kevin Jennings, and has run the GLBT youth prom for decades.
At this same Board of Education meeting, the Chairman of the Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth (David LaFontaine) even admitted that “he [did] not have statistics showing the number of gay and lesbian students harassed or attacked in schools each year." Yet he went on to say, "We feel it's the responsibility of the state to stop the antigay violence in so many school systems." And so the “Safe Schools” program proceeded, despite the fact that there was no proof of antigay violence. (Boston Globe, “Students urge state to clarify gay rights,” 12-21-99.)

Testimony by Scott Whiteman

[See original document here as pdf.]
“We shall sodomize your sons, emblems of your feeble masculinity, of your shallow dreams and vulgar lies. We shall seduce them in your schools.” - Michael Swift, Gay Community News, Feb. 15, 1987.
On February 10, 1992, the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth was created by William Weld's having signed and authorized Executive Order 325, stating as his predominant reason for the institution of this Commission that 30% of completed youth suicides annually are by gay and lesbian youth; and . . . that suicide is the leading cause of death for gay and lesbian youth.
It is not my purpose to extrapolate fully on why the use of a 1989 Health and Human Services report on Youth Suicide was erroneous, rather to merely point out that the report was speculation then and has since been proven false by the Centers for Disease Control. I point this out for two reasons, which I call the Double Lie:
1. that there is a high percentage of youth suicide in the gay community
2. that the Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth is in the schools to prevent youth suicide
The Governor's Commission was founded on false premises with misrepresentation and disregard of the facts about the homosexual lifestyle. The facts were, and remain, that it is not determinable how many of the 5,000 annual youth suicides are by gays or lesbians. The intent of instituting the Commission on these premises was, and still is, to deceive you as to the nature of homosexuality. The Governor's Commission would have you believe that gay youths are beaten or harassed on a daily basis to the point that they contemplate suicide to escape this terrible lifestyle which they were born into. Fiction is fun, but the reality is that all teens, gays and lesbians alike, are resilient to attacks if they occur. However, where are they occurring? In Massachusetts, how many gays are beaten on a daily basis? How many are killed for being gay? These are the real numbers we need to see before the Governor's Commission should be allowed to continue with its supposed agenda, since the foundational 1989 study on Youth Suicide has been declared inconclusive.
What then, since the suicide rate is not so prevalent [as] the agents of the Commission [say], does the Commission, through the Gay Straight Alliances, do? According to the Recommendations in Prevention of Health Problems Among Gay & Lesbian Youth given to the Governor in 1994, the Commission has provided "trainings" on "Sexual Orientation and [the] Coming Out Process." Additionally, when dealing with STDs, information about safer sex should be given "as it relates to gay, lesbian and bisexual youth," with the understanding that "[g]ay, lesbian and bisexual youth may not be able to practice skills crucial to developing [a healthy homosexual relationship]."(1) Exactly what skills ought we be teaching children to practice? Should it be how to keep their fingernails trimmed so they don't tear their lover's rectum while "fisting" him, as the Color Me Healthy brochure from The Fenway instructs? Maybe they ought to be "practicing" on a New Hampshire lakeside weekend retreat and be paid $25 to do it at events sponsored by the Boston Area Gay and Lesbian Youth (BAGLY)? BAGLY itself recognizes that their age ranges from 14 to 22 at its meetings. Have we decided that youths who question their sexuality aren't protected from pederasts simply because they think they might be gay?
I am 25. If I were to approach any of your 14 or 15 year old daughter or granddaughter to "discuss sex" and give her a chance to "really get to know [me] ... on a much deeper level,"' you would rightly come against me and prevent me from meeting your daughter in this, or any, atmosphere. You might even seek to punish me criminally. Yet, we allow our young boys to be preyed upon by older men and call it "diversity." Pedophilia is still a crime in Massachusetts, and consensual sex is still rape when it occurs between a child under the age of 16 and an adult above the age of 18. Who will be to blame when an older man and a young boy lie together, facilitated by the GSAs? [gay/straight alliance clubs in the schools, mandated by the DOE “Safe Schools” program] Keep in mind that homosexuals are too ready to admit that "only" 30% of the pedophilia crimes are committed by homosexuals; stated differently, by 3% of the population.
I have come today not to give you questions to ponder before you allow the Governor's Commission to influence the schools with their call to diversity. Rather, I have come to reveal to you that they are in your schools under the guise of "safety." They have lied to you to get into the schools, lie to parents while in the schools, and you must pray that they are not lying with boys who statutorily cannot consent to sex. If you provide the in-road for these criminal pedophiles, you ought to be held accountable as well for their crimes. I leave you with this thought:
“How many gay men, I wonder, would have missed out on a valuable, liberating experience -- one that initiated them into their sexuality -- if it weren't for so-called molestation?”   - Carl Maves, "Getting Over It," The Advocate, May 5, 1992, p. 85.
This was in a 1992 edition of The Advocate, a "mainstream" gay magazine. According to the gays, you don't have to fear that they are pedophiles, you should thank them.

Kevin Jennings: Pied Piper of the Homosexual-Transgender Movement

Kevin Jennings' GLSEN-Boston transported kids to "Fistgate II" in taxpayer-funded school buses in 2001:
______________________________________________
______________________________________________
[Massachusetts News, May 2001]

Jennings was a founding member of the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, and as co-chair of the education committee, he masterminded the DOE's "Safe Schools" program. He (and GLSEN) have had a long partnership with BAGLY, the Boston Alliance of Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Youth.

BAGLY was prominently included and recommended in the founding document of the Governor's Commission (1993). BAGLY's long-time director, Sterling Stowell (who later "transitioned" to become "Grace"), was a founding member of the Governor's Commission and co-chair of the its human services committee. At the time of the GLSEN Fistgate conference (2000), Stowell was a GLSEN-Boston board member and made sure a transsexual workshop was included in the conference. Stowell is now Vice Chair of the Massachusetts Commission on Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Youth. A very important player in Jennings' dream of GLBT-supportive schools.

Jennings' GLSEN funnels kids through its GSAs (gay straight alliance clubs) to GLSEN's conferences -- and to the BAGLY prom.

BAGLY holds its GLBT prom every May at Boston City Hall, wrapping up the festivities of Massachusetts Youth Pride day (which from the beginning has been sponsored by the Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth).

In a 2007 photo (above), Grace Sterling Stowell, the "male-to-female" transsexual director of BAGLY, greets kids at the prom, and keeps reporters (and MassResistance) out. The kids get warmed up before entering:

By 2009, BDSM (bondage and sadomasochism) had become an open theme of the BAGLY prom. (We're sure Jennings would approve of this legacy.) Mr. Boston Leather was all smiles as he greeted the kids on the dance floor:

Dance floor at BAGLY prom (2005):

The transgender message is a big focus at BAGLY events (2009):

At the national level, Kevin Jennings' GLSEN continues to draw kids in with dreams of revolutionary activism, for example their "JUMP START" program  (encouraging students to start GSAs at their schools). Eventually, many of the high school activists will join up with the dangerous crowd at the BAGLY prom.

Youth Pride Awardee Sings "Hello Kitty"

Definitely world class. Mark Snyder, QueerToday extremist and awardee at tomorrow's Youth Pride, sings "Hello Kitty":

Don't miss the collection of Snyder's videos on YouTube: http://youtube.com/user/milo200. And, SEEN ON HIS BLOG, WingAndMark.blogspot.com:

Wing ... & Mark Snyder (No nicknames yet other than Sissy) have been big, queer, sissy lovers since September 27, 2004. Wing is 21 years old, and he grew up in Flushing, Queens (New York City). Mark is 24 years old, and he grew up on a mountain in rural Pennsylvania. The two met at Axis nightclub in Boston. Ever since that drag queen gave Mark a piece of scrap paper to write down Wing's number, they've been inseparable.

What does Snyder mean by "sissy"? Watch his video to find out.

And tomorrow, Youth Pride recognizes Mark's great achievements.

BAGLY Fundraiser Tonight Supports Creation of "Queer Youth"

Algonquin Club (left) will house a fundraiser tonight for the dangerous organization BAGLY (Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth). BAGLY funds also support the Mass. Transgender Political Coalition. BAGLY runs the hideous "queer" prom at Boston City Hall every May, capping the Youth Pride events on Boston Common.

See our photo galleries from the BAGLY queer prom in 2006 and 2007.

The Algonquin Club describes itself as "a peaceful haven for Boston's leading citizens to conduct business, socialize with family and friends, and enjoy the finest cuisine in an elegant setting."

The business to be discussed at this get-together? How best to convince young women to have double mastectomies and be the man they always wanted to be. And to collect referrals for gender therapists who will fit young men with padded bras and binders. Unbelievably, there will be many donors eager to give to this cause.

Acton-Boxborough Regional H.S. Directs Kids to Sacrilegious Filth

If anyone still doubts the anti-Christian character and pure evil of the radical homosexual movement, they need to read the posting, "Queering Christ" [reprinted below] from the filth blog, QueerToday. This blog and its activists are currently in touch with Acton-Boxborough High School students because of "The Laramie Project" production there this week.

Want proof? The MatthewShepard.org web site, where the students are sent by the play, has a teen-friendly site called "Matthew's Place," where a "resources" page for Massachusetts goes right to BAGLY (the "Boston Alliance of Gay Lesbian Bisexual & Transgender Youth). BAGLY's former office manager ("Mark" below) is the founder and editor of QueerToday. One of its blogger/commenters ("Trevor" below) is BAGLY's current office manager. BAGLY is in direct partnership with the Mass. Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, and the homosexual clubs in our schools (GSAs), including Acton-Boxborough's, and puts on the queer/transgender high school prom at Boston City Hall each year. The director of BAGLY is a "male-to-female transsexual" who lectures children all over the state on the mysteries of "gender identity" and "sex changes." Bear in mind that people working in these "GLBT teen centers" do not undergo criminal record checks, but are all dealing with young teens (with the support of your local schools).

Back to the filth from QueerToday: We posted an excerpt and link to this vile sacrilege a little while back ("The Laramie Project and Hating Jesus", 10-1-07). Maybe it was missed?

Queering Christ [from QueerToday, 10-1-07]

Currently I am enrolled at a pretty Christian School, Andover Newton Theological School, in order to move forward with my ordination as a Unitarian Universalist minister. While I do not consider myself Christian I was raised both as a Christian and as a Unitarian Universalist. I have thus come to appreciate many of the stories within Christianity and have also been deeply hurt by the right wing choosing to use the revolutionary, anarchist, pro-liberation, Jesus against me and others I care about. Currently I am reading a VERY queer book for one of my classes. The book is Queering Christ by Robert E. Goss. So far the book is INCREDIBLE. My intention is to post some of my favorite highlights on queertoday in order for others to enjoy a very different experience of Jesus, one that does not make him the evil hater that so many choose to use him as. Do be aware that some folks may be offended by the sexual content of the passages I share over the next couple of weeks. I am not claiming that Christianity is easily made pro-queer, but so many folks are trying, struggling at times, and I appreciate their efforts. I hope we can all enjoy this queer perspective from a Jesuit priest, regardless of whether or not we are Christian...

"My technique of meditative prayer was to envision Christ with me and experience him as a lover. Scott Haleman, Betty Dodson, and Joe Kramer argue that masturbation can be spiritual and can become a form of transcendental meditation. Masturbation can harness fantasies and sexual energy. When prolonged, it can stimulate and extend pleasure. When fantasies are focused into making love with Christ, the experience opens itself to a fundamental and profound consciousness of God. My visualizations of Jesus were certainly explicit, erotically envisioning various forms of making love to Jesus the Christ. I had sexual intercourse with Jesus. Sometimes he was the top, and sometimes he was the bottom. My relationship with Christ was mutual and deep."

Top Activist for Transgender Cause Confused

Is he, or isn't he? That is the question.

Above: Trevor at the BAGLY Queer/GLBT Prom (May 2007).

Below: Trevor (?) in drag on his Hawaii trip (photo he posted at the top of his blog) -- but maybe it's his twin sister? [Update 7-28: Trevor informs us it's his friend Megan. We're always eager for clarification... It would be fun to see more photos of her on that adventure. ]

Bay Windows, Boston's GLBTQIP newspaper, reported on another party we haven't been invited to -- though apparently we provided the occasion for the event. Thanks to MassResistance, a BIG fundraiser is going to be held for the Mass. Transgender Political Coalition by one of their leading activists, Trevor. Trevor works for BAGLY (the Boston Alliance of Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Youth), and his boss is a "transwoman" named Sterling Stowell (AKA "Grace").

It seems to hurt Trevor's feelings that the MassResistance web site identified him as what he is: an activist working to promote the "trans rights" cause. It didn't say he is "transgender" --whatever that is -- just that he is a "transgender activist" -- which he clearly is. Maybe Trevor is revealing some deep-seated transphobia if he is so troubled by being identified as transgender.

Anyhow, Trevor's having a "coming out trans" party, and using it to raise money for the trannies. Maybe the partygoers will help clarify their terminology for us? Their word "transgender" seems quite flexible. It could mean a male who dons a female-style wig from time to time, just for fun; or a person who publicly dresses and identifies as a member of the opposite sex. Or, it could mean a full-fledged transitioning person, hormone shots, operations and all. And how does "transgender" connect to the "tops and bottoms" terminology? Could a "bottom" be considered a "trans" person, i.e. a male acting as a female? And then there's the Q in "GLBTQIP" for "questioning" -- and that can cover just about anybody doing or contemplating anything.

Shame on Gov. Deval Patrick

Watch this video of Governor Deval Patrick mingling with the crowds after he marched in the Pride parade on Saturday. Then he posed for a picture by the BAGLY banner. He did promise during the campaign to do whatever the homosexuals and transsexuals wanted.
