The MassResistance blog began in early 2005 with a Massachusetts focus on judicial tyranny, same-sex "marriage", and LGBT activism in our schools. We broadened our focus to national-level threats to our Judeo-Christian heritage, the Culture of Life, and free speech. In 2006, Article 8 Alliance adopted the name "MassResistance" for its organization. CAUTION: R-rated subject matter.

Deval Patrick's Empathy and Obama's Supreme Court
Seems that Deval Patrick will promise anyone anything. Take the example of "trans rights". At the Harvard forum on GLBT issues, he told a "trans" attendee, "You need to teach me how you experience it in your life.… I’m all for extending the laws, but how to get at the issue, what to tell my prosecutors to do, what to tell my bureaucrats to do, you need to educate me on that, that’s all.” In other words, just tell me whatever your latest lunatic radical demand is, and I'll do it for you.
From Bay Windows, "Pressing the Flesh: Patrick, Gabrieli go at it on gay issues," Sept. 14, 2006:
The question of how to protect transgender people from discrimination in housing, employment, public accommodations and credit under state law also teased out a difference between the candidates. Though both agreed that the state’s hate crimes laws should be expanded to protect those who are victimized on the basis of gender identity, Gabrieli flatly stated he wants to ensure that “our civil rights protections include gender identity and gender expression,” while Patrick approached the issue more cautiously, acknowledging that transgender issues were an area “where I have a lot of work to do.”
“I can’t see limiting our civil rights laws so that they exclude those who identify across gender,” he said “But frankly, beyond that principle and that approach there is honestly a lot I’ve got to do to understand exactly how we need to come up with, and in what context, and how then we change not just our legislation but our practices so it really does get at the issues people are facing in their lives.”...
Patrick’s statement that he needed further education on transgender rights raised a flag for at least one audience member. Following the forum, Jakobi Gorham, a 24-year-old Northeastern University student who works at Harvard’s science center, approached Patrick to discuss the issue. “If you deeply believe that people are people regardless of what the issues are, it set me back, and it actually hurt me for you to say that you need to educate yourself,” Gorham told the candidate.
“I’m sorry to hear you say that,” Patrick replied. The candidate then explained that he supports expanding the state’s laws to protect transgender people, but said, “how you enforce that, how that comes up in your life, you need to teach me that. I know how it comes up in the life of the gay kid or a lesbian. I know that. You need to teach me how you experience it in your life. … I’m all for extending the laws, but how to get at the issue, what to tell my prosecutors to do, what to tell my bureaucrats to do, you need to educate me on that, that’s all.”

Deval Patrick: Bad Choice for Obama's Supreme Court
To understand Patrick's extremism, look at the company he keeps. Last June, he marched in the Boston Pride parade to support his teenage daughter's "coming out". But he was also lending support to frightening groups promoting dangerous perversions, for instance the sadomasochists who marched right before him.
Marching just before the Governor and his teenage daughter were New England Leather Alliance members, who had trouble keeping their pants on and their whips under control.
See our postings from September 2006:
"Although Patrick initially conceded that he didn’t understand issues like Transgenderism very well, Gabrieli’s insistence that there should be specific laws protecting transgendered and cross-dressers forced Patrick to affirm that he too, was in favor of specific legislation protecting the rights of transgendered individuals. ... Both candidates stated that they believed in the SJC gay marriage decision, and that they supported more legislation and action by the Governor’s office to extend new rights to the GLBT community."

Homofascist Intimidation HQ "Villa" Celebrated in Boston Globe
And what a couple they are. Thanks to the Boston Globe Magazine, we get a peak at their "villa" -- the chicest location for radical leftist fundraisers. (Just imagine what else goes on in these rooms.*)
One thing is for sure: The palace has been a base for harassing opponents of "homosexual marriage". One of its owners, Tom Lang, is the infamous cyber-bully behind the "KnowThyNeighbor" web site, which published the names of anyone who signed the pro-marriage referendum petition in Massachusetts a few years back.
Mass. General Laws, Ch. 12, Sec. 11H:
Whenever any person or persons, whether or not acting under color of law, interfere by threats, intimidation or coercion, or attempt to interfere by threats, intimidation or coercion, with the exercise or enjoyment by any other person or persons of rights secured by the constitution or laws of the United States, or of rights secured by the constitution or laws of the commonwealth, the attorney general may bring a civil action for injunctive or other appropriate equitable relief in order to protect the peaceable exercise or enjoyment of the right or rights secured.... [emphasis added]
Within two years of his glorious "wedding", Lang went on to publish the names of all who signed the VoteOnMarriage referendum petition on his KnowThyNeighbor site, and become a leading spewer of heterophobic hate speech. Watch him and his friends in this video (he's the chubby guy with glasses), revealing his intention to shut down any speech opposing his. And now how amazing is it that both Eagan and Finneran host talk radio shows? (This used to be the only outlet for conservatives in this state; now station managements are giving it over to the leftists.) From Eagan's column,"Same-Sex Marriage: Ordinary ceremony turns unique" (Boston Herald, 5-18-04):
In many respects this wedding is "like any wedding," said officiating minister the Rev. Peter J. Gomes of Harvard University . "Preservice jitters . . . anxiety . . . confusion," he said. "And so we celebrate the ordinariness of the occasion."
Here's what was different: As the couples joined hands, Gomes pronounced them, not man and wife, but "partners for life" and "truly married in the sight of God and man." Lang and Westerhoff kissed twice - very quickly - then they received a proclamation of congratulations from the Massachusetts House of Representatives, signed by Speaker Thomas Finneran, who has long opposed gay marriage. It read: "What the SJC has granted, let no vote put asunder."
... last night in Manchester-by-the-Sea, about 100 guests - men in black ties and women in bejeweled gowns - celebrated their marriage with them. Singers from the Boston Lyric Opera sang arias by Puccini and Lehar. Lang and Westerhoff marched out of the church to a gospel rendition of "Oh, Happy Day," sung by the red-robed Majestic Ensemble. Westerhoff was occasionally in tears as the wedding party adjourned to the massive home the couple just built together.
Missing from the party, however, was Alex's mother, who disowned him, the couple said, after their Vermont civil union....
In 2006, a gala fundraiser for then candidate Gov. Deval Patrick (friend to Barack Obama) was held at the Lang-Westerhoff palace. InNews Weekly (a homosexual newspaper) reported:
The Reverend Professor Peter J. Gomes, [openly homosexual] (D.D., Honorary Fellow of the College, Plummer Professor of Christian Morals at Harvard University, and Pusey Minister in the Memorial Church, Harvard), provided a rare public endorsement on behalf of Deval Patrick at a Manchester-by-the-Sea fundraiser jointly hosted by Alexander Westerhoff and Tom Lang of Manchester and the Freedom to Marry PAC....
Alex Westerhoff and Tom Lang, whose Manchester-by-the-Sea "Villa in Construction" hosted the Deval Patrick for Governor fundraiser, have been close friends with the Reverend Gomes since Westerhoff immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1988. Westerhoff says that the attendees were in excess of 150 people in total and drew from a wide range of bi-partisan support from the Northshore and Boston who came out to hear and meet Deval Patrick. "I am honored that Reverend Gomes chose our joint event with Freedom to Marry in which to endorse Deval Patrick for Governor. Peter's words express, as only Peter can, the feelings of so many in Massachusetts as to the current administration and politicians in general, and how we need a leader like Patrick in the corner office," said Westerhoff. Reverend Gomes officiated at Westerhoff and Lang's marriage ceremony on May 17, 2004.
(InNews Weekly, 8-5-06)
*Hmm... Now it seems Mr. Lang had decided to protect HIS privacy a little more (a right he denies others), and has had the Globe remove the link to more photos of his palace.

Holocaust Deniers in Massachusetts
All pro-abortion Leftists are Holocaust deniers. That's why they don't want these photos posted. They can't face the truth, for whatever personal reasons. And they don't want you to confront the truth either.
Another Tyrant Named to Mass. Supreme Judicial Court
Botsford is cited for her ruling in a high-profile case on "a controversial runway at Logan International Airport." She has the "intellectual firepower to handle some of the state's most complex cases," says a past president of the American Bar Association. Problem is that abortion and runways are not equivalent. In fact, abortion is quite simple: It's the pre-meditated murder of an innocent human being. Can Botsford handle that?

CNN Joins Transsexual Propaganda Push

Reporter Sanchez interviewed a doctor from Children's Hospital in Los Angeles (Dr. Marvin Belzer) who subscribes to the Dr. Spack school of medicating "transgender" children prior to puberty in order to ease their sex change operations later. The report did mention that the American Academy of Pediatrics has no guidelines drawn up on this practice.
A few months ago, while still head of the National Log Cabin Republicans, Guerriero signaled his commitment to the trans cause, and named the "male-to-female" leader of the National Center for Transgender Equality as his "personal mentor": Coalitions with choice and environmental groups and hot button issues like the Schiavo matter represent an evolution in Log Cabin strategy. So too is a stronger focus on transgender rights that Guerriero has introduced in Log Cabin since he took over in 2002. “I have actually brought a level of discussion of that issue to the organization over the past couple of years,” he explained, saying that Mara Keisling, executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality, has served as “a personal mentor” to him.“I think we need us all to move forward and we should be wary of leaving anyone behind,” Guerriero said.
Is the American public really buying this trans propaganda? How can the reporters buy into this? Do transgenders throw really good parties, or what?

Polluted Streets of Boston Pride
(c) 2007 MassResistance
Right: "Transwoman" looking his best.
Here are some of the proud participants in "Boston Pride" this past weekend. There were many children on the parade route who viewed this -- most were probably children of "GLBT parents".
If you don't like this, take it up with Mayor Thomas Menino and Governor Deval Patrick.

Their Own Words and Actions Hurt Them
But they've had a free ride for so long, they don't know what to do when others actually tell the truth about their events. The rage of the organizers and goons at their Youth Pride event last Saturday was palpable, when they realized quite a few MassResistance reporters were present. In fact, they're still seething over what we reported last year.
One year ago, at "Youth Pride" time, we alerted then Governor Mitt Romney and the public that way-out groups were accessing their children, leading them deep into the "transgender/transsexual" and "free sex" world. And prior to this year's event, we exposed the cross-dressing emcee who was to introduce Gov. Deval Patrick (who decided not to collect his Youth Pride award in person).
The articles we put out last year apparently had a huge impact. Ask yourself: Would a pro-life rally have any problem with reporters being present? Would a Boy Scout Jamboree? Would a walk for cancer research? So ... what are these GLBT activists trying to hide?
We thought we'd post some of our pieces again from the MassResistance blog one year ago:
These are the groups the Massachusetts Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth is putting our children in touch with! And they don't want you to know. So they will try to kill the messenger.

Governor Patrick: Renounce Award from Youth Pride!
Whether Gov. Patrick will be present at the event or not, he should renounce the award! Look at the photos of the people involved in the Youth Pride day, and the BAGLY queer/trans prom that evening at Boston City Hall. This is a disgrace to all of Massachusetts. How can our Governor encourage young people to become involved in such dangerous and perverted activities and groups? He is truly contributing to the endangerment of the youth of Massachusetts by his support of Youth Pride!

Gov. Patrick & Drag Queen at "Youth Pride" This Weekend?
Dear Governor Patrick:
You really must reconsider your participation in the "Youth Pride" event this Saturday. That event does nothing more than encourage disturbed children to enter a life full of health risks, both physical and mental. Adult web sites [Boston Pride, Edge Boston, Mass. Transgender Politcal Coalition] are advertising the event to their readers, facilitating meetings between many sexually predatory adults and vulnerable children. The state should prevent rather than encourage such possibilities.
Are you aware of the background of the person presenting your award? Do you really think young children should be encouraged by his web site to enter that world of homosexual and trans hedonism? Do you realize the open mic event in the afternoon is hosted by a "transsexual" woman who has had her breasts removed and grown a beard? Are these good role models for the children of Massachusetts?
Please reconsider your participation in this event. I would appreciate a response. [No response received.]
* "Drag Queen" Raquel Blake is the emcee presenting Gov. Patrick's award. He's a regular at swimsuit contests in Ogunquit. (Check out the video.)
* GLSEN (perpetrators of Fistgate, distributors of the Little Black Book, backer of the gay clubs in the high schools and Day of Silence, and more recently declared "friends" with a Satanic ally on its MySpace. (Caution: click on GLSEN's "friend" C**kvomit link only after you've said your prayers and read the Bible. This is what they're leading kids to!)
* Gunner Scott, "transman" GenderCrash originator, Transgender Political Coalition co-chair, and big wheel at the Mass. Commission on Gay & Lesbian Youth, who's hosting an open mic for the kids later that afternoon. This event is so risque that they have scheduled it for private property (BAGLY headquarters on Bowdoin St. near the State House) and they've posted the following warning: "This event is open to youth and their adult allies only. No video/photo/audio taping or harassment allowed. Anyone not respecting the rules of the space will be asked to leave."
* BAGLY queer/trans prom attendees (at Boston City Hall that evening).

Today's Marriage Amendment Vote Defeat for Homosexual Lobby
So, contrary to all expectations, the Legislature actually voted twice today to push the marriage amendment forward into the next session. Some observations on the day at the State House:
(1) It is unlikely that the vote would have happened today had it not been for the pending lawsuits against the 109 Legislators who were refusing to follow the Constitutional requirement to vote on the citizens' petition. These lawsuits are part of a more assertive, confrontational approach certain pro-family activists have been advocating for the past few years.
(2) Governor-elect Deval Patrick was lobbying today at the State House for the Legislators to again adjourn, and defy their constitutional duty to vote on the citizens' petition. So he's already proven he doesn't respect the Constitution. Not a good start. From the AP story:
Gay rights activists and Democratic Gov.-elect Deval Patrick called on the Legislature to let the measure die without a vote....
Earlier in the day, the governor-elect, who supports gay marriage, met with the leaders of the Democratic-controlled Legislature to argue against a vote, calling it a "question of conscience." Patrick charged that the amendment process was being used to "consider reinserting discrimination into the constitution."
"This is not just another question for popular decision. This is a question, under the equal protection clause, about what freedoms the minority is entitled to," Patrick said.
(3) This was a major blow to the GLBT lobby. Arline Isaacson appears to be barely holding back her tears in the AP photo. But instead of MassEquality closing down (as they speculated they might do after their "victory" in November), we'll have to put up with them for the foreseeable future. Millions will flow into the state to fight the amendment.
(4) The homosexual activists outside on the street had apparently been given orders to tone down their thuggish behavior, after reports and videos of their behavior in November. They were fewer in number and relatively subdued. Inside (in the Gardner Auditorium) after their defeat, they sang defiant songs including "We Shall Overcome" -- still trying to make us believe this is a matter of civil rights, rather than the normalization of perversion.

It's BACK! Trans Impersonator of Healey
We first posted on this hideous example of queer extremist politics -- a YouTube entry -- a week ago, but got so many complaints over its vile content that we took it down. But now, as we continue to watch Deval's campaign, we decided to repost it ... as an illustration of the sort of GLBT activism Patrick has no problem with. Remember Deval's appearance at the Harvard GLBT candidate forum in September. We are certain Deval would also support the "Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth," its "Friends" group (which headlined the maker of this video at its fundraiser as its "youth" speaker), and the queer activist's employer BAGLY. Here's our original posting from October 12:
An example of political speech by a person given great deference at the State House: Watch this short video by QueerToday and BAGLY operative Mark -- doing Kerry Healey in drag. Calling Healey (Repub candidate for Gov) a "raging bull Dyke"!? This mockery comes from a leading figure in the queer (his word) activist movement in Massachusetts.
The suicide prevention funding voted by our Legislature helps support Mark's work as office manager at BAGLY, the Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth.
Mark will be heading up a demonstration against the Focus on the Family/Family Research Council "Liberty Sunday" event this Sunday evening, Oct. 15 at the Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Boston, to be broadcast live around the country. We wonder how he'll dress for that occasion. It was his group QueerToday that orchestrated the riot in front of Focus's "Love Won Out" ex-gay conference there last October. (Then, he had the assistance of the anti-war demonstrators who happened to be Boston that day.)
P.S. to Mark: Your video masterpiece has been preserved for posterity, so don't bother to take it down!

Deval Patrick Supports Most Extreme GLBT Demands
Above: QueerToday.com organizer and BAGLY manager Mark Snyder with Deval Patrick and friend.
Right: Riot last Oct. 30 organized by Snyder of QueerToday in attempt to shut down the LoveWonOut ex-gay conference at Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Boston.
Nothing is too far out for Dem gov candidate Deval Patrick. Here he is smiling with one of the most extreme members of the GLBT street gang, QueerToday. We've noted Patrick's appearance at the Harvard GLBT forum where he promised to do WHATEVER a "transgender" radical might ask of him. And he attended a big fundraiser for the Mass. Gay & Lesbian Political Caucus in July, just a few weeks after its chief lobbyist was arrested for soliciting UMass college boys for oral sex.
Doesn't it bother most voters that Patrick supports those wanting to destroy the natural family and marriage, shut down churches, and indoctrinate children from an early age without their parents' consent?

Deval Patrick's Reckless Promises
From Bay Windows, "Pressing the Flesh: Patrick, Gabrieli go at it on gay issues," Sept. 14, 2006:
