Typical Morning Announcements at Mass. High School

"Coming Out Day" is becoming quite the holiday in our schools, while Christmas is banned. On Thursday, October 11, Bedford High School was decorated with rainbow balloons and stickers. The morning announcements included . . .

***National Coming Out Day is celebrated annually on October 11th to commemorate the March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights and aims at promoting awareness of the GLBT community.

***The GSA is having a rubber ducky raffle. The grand prize is an Ipod Nano/Video.
[Note: GSA is the "gay/straight alliance" or homosexual/bisexual/transgender club.]

Mass. Schools Push "Coming Out Day"

Schools across Massachusetts pushed their students to "COME OUT" as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender last Thursday, on the activist-declared "Coming Out Day," October 11.

At Newton South High School, a parent was aghast to see a poster in a classroom on back-to-school night proclaiming the upcoming event. In Bedford High School, the official announcements included it.

In Acton-Boxborough, students were reportedly hugging each other with the cheerful greeting, "Happy Coming Out Day!" Their fall play, "The Laramie Project", sends students to MatthewShepard.org, where kids told they can "Make a Difference" if they "Come Out". That page links them to the Coming Out Project at Human Rights Campaign (including a Resource Guide), and the PFLAG organization (which recognizes no boundaries).

All of this is done without parental notification as required by law for HUMAN SEXUALITY ISSUES in the schools. But our school officials tell us that homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality are not about sex, but about "civil rights" and diversity!

Democrat Presidential Candidates Without Moral Grounding

They've proven it by their comments on teaching homosexual coupling to 2nd-graders. The top Democrat candidates for President all think that anal intercourse is a valid basis for "marriage" and if you disagree, you're fearful and hateful. Though this story is a few weeks old (the debate took place on Sept. 27), it shouldn't be overlooked.

The appropriateness of reading the story book King & King to 2nd-graders (as done in a Lexington, Mass. school, at the heart of the Parker lawsuit) was the subject of a question to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards. None of them objected to the youngest minds absorbing the idea that sodomy was a valid foundation for "marriage". John Edwards' response may be the most amazing. He basically said it's not his business to instruct his children regarding right and wrong!!!

Nothing makes more clear than these responses how dangerous it is to accept "civil unions" -- the slippery slope -- because once you go there, how do you say NO to a fairy tale about two princes kissing and marrying? All three of these Dem candidates say they're for "civil unions" but against homosexual "marriage" -- yet they all accept the use of the "fairy tale" King and King!

Allison King [NECN]: The issues surrounding gay rights have been hotly debated here in New England. For example, last year some parents of second-graders in Lexington, Massachusetts, were outraged to learn their children's teacher had read a story about same-sex marriage, about a prince who marries another prince. Same-sex marriage is legal in Massachusetts [sic - no it's NOT legal] but most of you oppose it. Would you be comfortable having this story read to your children as part of their school curriculum? I'm going to start with Senator Edwards.

JOHN EDWARDS: Yes, absolutely. What I want is I want my children to understand everything about the difficulties that gay and lesbian couples are faced with every day, the discrimination that they're faced with every single day of their lives. And I suspect my two younger children, Emma Claire, who's 9, and Jack, who's 7, will reach the same conclusion that my daughter Cate, who's 25, has reached, which is she doesn't understand why her dad is not in favor of same-sex marriage. And she says her generation will be the generation that brings about the great change in America on that issue.
So I don't want to make that decision on behalf of my children. I want my children to be able to make that decision on behalf of themselves, and I want them to be exposed to all the information, even in – did you say second grade? Second grade might be a little tough, but even in second grade to be exposed to all ...

KING: Well, that's the point. It is second grade.

EDWARDS: ... those possibilities, because I don't want to impose my view. Nobody made me God. I don't get to decide on behalf of my family or my children, as my wife, Elizabeth, has spoken her own mind on this issue. I don't get to impose on them what it is that I believe is right.

BARACK OBAMA: You know, I feel [sic; no thought, just feeling] very similar to John.... One of the things I want to communicate to my children is not to be afraid of people who are different ... And one of the things I think the next president has to do is to stop fanning people's fears. If we spend all our time feeding the American people fear and conflict and division, then they become fearful and conflicted and divided. And if we feed them hope and we feed them reason and tolerance, then they will become tolerant and reasonable and hopeful.

HILLARY CLINTON: Well, I really respect what both John and Barack said.... With respect to your individual children, that is such a matter of parental discretion, I think that obviously it is better to try to work with your children, to help your children understand the many differences that are in the world and to really respect other people and the choices that other people make. [Is she saying homosexuality is a choice?!] ... So I think that this issue of gays and lesbians and their rights will remain an important one in our country. And I hope that – tomorrow we're going to vote on the hate crimes bill, and I'm sure that those of us in the Senate will be there to vote for it. We haven't been able to get it passed, and it is an important measure to send a message that we stand against hatred and divisiveness.

The full transcript of the debate on King and King is available here.

"Laramie Project" Teaches Foul Language

Here's the foul language students at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School are studying in "The Laramie Project." The drama participants especially are living these lines over and over, and are instructed this is "good literature" and a "mirror" of their own community. The fallout will affect every kid in the school -- and every home in the community.

Some examples of foul language in "The Laramie Project":
“shit outta luck” -- “Matt was a blunt little shit” -- “I always say, don’t fuck with a Wyoming queer, cause they will kick you in your fucking ass.” – “a freakin’ nightmare”-- “I was just bullshittin around with my shit” -- “I was in deep-ass sand” – “they better watch their fuckin ass” -- “ask him if he’d ever do anymore tweak” -- “I don’t know if Aaron was fucked up or whether he was coming down [off drugs] or what, but Matthew had money. Shit, he had better clothes than I did. Matthew was a little rich bitch … There was times when I was all messed up on meth… ” -- “pissed him off” -- “good to be with people who felt like shit” -- “why’d you fuck up like that” – “he tried to grab my dick” – “Up there in the max ward … when they found out Aaron was coming to prison, they were auctioning those boys off; ‘I want him. I’ll put aside five, six, seven cartons of cigarettes.’ …” -- “big-ass band of angels” [protester] with “big-ass wings” – “we don’t say a fuckin’ word” -- Police officer who “went out and got shit-faced” [drunk] -- etc.

The Acton-Boxborough Regional High School student handbook (p. 19) has a rule outlawing obscene language:

GENERAL BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS
Abusive or Obscene Language
Students are not to use obscene or abusive language or gestures. Such behaviors will result in referral to the Assistant Principal.

Though "obscene language" goes conveniently undefined. So ... ANYTHING GOES. Certainly, if the "obscene language" is part of an assigned reading, or school play, it must be OK? After all, how else could the school be preparing its students according to its ...
"unity of purpose: to educate young people for life in a global society. It is important to create a learning environment at Acton-Boxborough where students can grow as individuals, learn how to think for themselves, learn when to talk and when to listen, see another person's side of things, and be part of a community." (p. 13)

But wait... If students are to "see another person's side of things," why did the school staff instruct the students (and parents) to ignore the forum on October 3? Why are students not instructed to weigh both sides of (by their own admission) a controversial play?

We read in Bay Windows that 475 local parents signed a petition giving their full support to "The Laramie Project" production (though they did not release their names). Shame on them. Do these parents have no problem with their children speaking like this in their homes? And the foul language in the play is the least example of its harmful impact. The play teaches that Laramie is just like Acton: Bad language, and hateful people hiding in the shadows waiting for their chance to lash out -- even to murder -- motivated by "hate".

"The Laramie Project" -- in its own words

There's a lot of talk around "The Laramie Project" but little examination of the specifics contained in the play. Some were brought up at the recent forum at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, and many more dangerous messages are embedded in the play than could be discussed that night.

For extensive quotations from the play itself, and from materials handed out to children in that school, see:

READING LIST on "The Laramie Project" and the dangers of leading youth to homosexuality.

The first item under "Links to articles" gives extensive quotations from the play itself.

"The Laramie Project" and Hating Jesus

Note to Acton-Boxborough Regional High School Administrators and Faculty:

Here's your required reading for this week: "Queering Christ" in today's radical blog QueerToday (10-1-07). This blog recently published an attack on a MassResistance family in Acton, after being contacted by two of your drama students.

Read the postings on QueerToday, especially today's. These are the people your students are encouraged to seek out by your fall play, "The Laramie Project." These are the people your students are in fact communicating with, hatefully sharing private information about a family in their community, and using a classmate as a political tool. These are the people who are thrilled to see you're producing that play, so they can recruit more young people for their queer world. These are the people who admit they're anti-Christian, yet still insist on talking about Jesus -- as long as he's part of their twisted sexual fantasies. So you need to read the kind of obscenities and sacrilege they proudly publish.

The fellow behind QueerToday's post, "Queering Christ," is the youth minister at the GLBT "Metropolitan Community Church" in Boston and former member of the Mass. Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth. That church gives their space over to BAGLY (Boston Alliance for Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Youth), whose director is a transsexual "male-to-female" and co-chairman of the Mass. Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth. These are the groups where your Acton-Boxborough students are led through your Gay-Straight Alliance, Common Ground.

Your fall play, "The Laramie Project," is distinctly anti-Christian. So your students will relish the radical, false, sexualized portrayal of Christ on QueerToday. (The minister the "Laramie" play lyingly portrays as representative of Evangelical Christians is Fred Phelps. The ministers the play embraces are the Unitarian, and the Catholic priest who defies his Bishop's authority. The next liberal step beyond would be a priest claiming to have sexual relations with Jesus -- as does that the author of the book, Queering Christ.)

(The book's author, Robert E. Goss, is a former Jesuit priest, was a radical activist in "Act Up" and "Queer Nation," and led the homosexual "Catholic" group "Dignity" in Boston through 1982. He's now a minister with the GLBT "Metropolitan Community Church.")

Excerpts from today's sick post by Jason Lydon on the book, Queering Christ, on QueerToday:
... I have thus come to appreciate many of the stories within Christianity and have also been deeply hurt by the right wing choosing to use the revolutionary, anarchist, pro-liberation, Jesus against me and others I care about. Currently I am reading a VERY queer book for one of my classes. The book is Queering Christ by Robert E. Goss. So far the book is INCREDIBLE. My intention is to post some of my favorite highlights on queertoday in order for others to enjoy a very different experience of Jesus, one that does not make him the evil hater that so many choose to use him as. Do be aware that some folks may be offended by the sexual content of the passages I share over the next couple of weeks. I am not claiming that Christianity is easily made pro-queer, but so many folks are trying, struggling at times, and I appreciate their efforts. I hope we can all enjoy this queer perspective from a Jesuit priest, regardless of whether or not we are Christian...

[Book author Goss writes:] "My technique of meditative prayer was to envision Christ with me and experience him as a lover. Scott Haleman, Betty Dodson, and Joe Kramer argue that masturbation can be spiritual and can become a form of transcendental meditation. Masturbation can harness fantasies and sexual energy. When prolonged, it can stimulate and extend pleasure. When fantasies are focused into making love with Christ, the experience opens itself to a fundamental and profound consciousness of God. My visualizations of Jesus were certainly explicit, erotically envisioning various forms of making love to Jesus the Christ. I had sexual intercourse with Jesus. Sometimes he was the top, and sometimes he was the bottom. My relationship with Christ was mutual and deep."

Unbelievable. And there are a whole series of queer sexualizations of Christ coming up on the blog, they say...

Thank you, Acton-Boxborough High School for leading our children to this.

Tranny-PFLAG Conference "Transcending Boundaries" -- Gone Underground?

We're disappointed to learn from DCU Center in Worcester that the transgender-PFLAG conference, "Transcending Boundaries," is not being held there again this year. This weekend is announced on their award-winning MySpace as the 2007 conference dates, but no location is given. Interesting how after our revelations of the past year, the Transcending Boundaries web site is no longer updated, and the conference (if it's being held at all) is being kept quiet. Too bad -- our brave undercover agents were all set to go out to Worcester! (They were just not sure yet which gender and outfit to choose.)

"Transcending Boundaries" -- It's just what the name says: There are no boundaries, no limits on behaviors. No such thing as male or female in their world, unless they say so. No such thing as "normal". Anything goes: little children identified as "transgender"; bisexuality; pansexuality; BDSM; polyamory, drag kings, drag queens, fetish, etc. The only thing missing (give them time) was bestiality. (But wait -- does "pansexuality" include bestiality???).

Last year's fascinating workshops included:
  • Dr. Norman Spack (Children's Hospital, Boston) on "Coming out as a child or adolescent as transgendered or transsexual and the parents’ process of acceptance." (Spack promotes puberty blocking treatments for pre-pubescent "transgender children" -- followed by opposite-sex hormones.)
  • Supporting Gender Variant Youth in Today’s Schools
  • Legal Issues and Being Kinky -- How to Talk About BDSM/Leather/Fetish (New England Leather Alliance)
  • Redefining Masculinity: How and Why Transmen [female-to-male transsexuals] are Changing the Definitions of Manhood
  • Queer Spirituality
  • FEMME-ininity: GenderQueer Femme Identity and Misogyny within the Queer Women’s Community
Who's welcome at the conference? "All bisexual, pansexual, trans/genderqueer, and intersex people and [their] allies!" What are their "interests" listed on their MySpace?
Activism, Activist, Bi, Bi Culture, Bi Curious, Bi Friendly, Bi Inclusive, Bi Men, Bi Network, Bi Women, Bisexual, Bisexual Community, Bisexual Culture, Bisexual Erasure, Bisexual Groups, Bisexual Meetings, Bisexual Men, Bisexual Network, Bisexual Pride, Bisexual Support Groups, Bisexual Women, Bisexuality, BDSM, Celebrate Bisexuality Day, Children, Cisgender, Coming Out, Community Building, Cross-dressing, DL, Down Low, Drag, Drag King, Drag Queens, Families, Fathers, Fetish, Fluid, FTM, Gay, Gay Straight Alliance, Genderfuck, Genderqueer, GLBT, GLBTIQ, Grandparents, GSA, Hetroflexable, Intersex, Lesbian, Leather, LGBT, Marrige, MTF, Mothers, on the DL, on the Down Low, Pansexual, Parenting, PFLAG, Poly, Polyamorous, Polyamory, Poly Pride Day, Post Queer, Same Gender Loving, SGL, Straight But Not Narrow, Transgender, Transsexual, Queer, Questioning

Why "No Place for Hate" If No "Hate Crimes"?

Not a single "hate crime" has been reported in the town of Acton, Massachusetts according to the FBI online reports for the last ten years (1995-2005). So why does Acton need a "No Place for Hate" committee?

Reports in the Associated Press and Lowell Sun indicate that Acton is now reconsidering its link to the ADL (Anti-Defamation League, which sponsors the "No Place for Hate" program), after the revelations that the ADL refused to recognize the Armenian holocaust.

We've just learned (8-24-07) that the Acton Board of Selectmen have not yet taken final action, but are still pondering the situation. We certainly hope the Selectmen, and State Rep. James Eldridge (co-chairman of this unneeded committee), will see to it that it disbands.

The planned production this November at the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School of a politically motivated, pro-homosexual propaganda play, "The Laramie Project," is the sort of event the "No Place for Hate" groups promote. It is likewise ill-conceived and should be reconsidered.

Let's repeat: No hate crimes reported in Acton. No hate crimes reported in Boxborough. So please, busy-body leftists, just leave the towns alone! See our earlier posting: "No Place for Hate Now in Acton," 8-6-07.) From the confusing report in the Lowell Sun (8-22-07):

Yesterday morning, officials in Acton also decided to disassociate their No Place For Hate program from the ADL, according to State Rep. Jamie Eldridge, who is co-chairman of the No Place For Hate program in Acton. "With the news that the national ADL reversed their position, we're not taking any action," said Eldridge, also a candidate for Marty Meehan's vacated 5th Congressional District seat.

Quebec Govt Threatens to Take Children from Mennonite Parents

Read this news from Canada, and ask how long it will be before Massachusetts authorities begin taking children away from their "conservative Christian" or "homophobic" parents. The First Circuit Federal Court has already ruled that parents can be denied their right to determine the moral and religious education of their own children, and that their children must be indoctrinated that homosexuality and transgenderism are normal, healthy, and equal to heterosexuality. The Mass. Department of Education and local school districts have long violated existing Massachusetts law requiring parental notification and opt-out privilege on issues of human sexuality.

Whether you call this Leftist indoctrination, atheistic fascism, anti-Creationist fascism, or homofascism, the end result is the same: Children will soon belong to the state, not to their parents.

Mennonites threaten to abandon Quebec
The province insists the group's children must go to a sanctioned school. Leaders say they'll leave the province rather than conform
CanWest News Service, 8-16-07

They have integrated into Quebec society, found jobs, made friends and learned French. But members of Quebec's only Mennonite community say they'll move out of the province before they'll send their children to government-approved schools. It's a question of religious intolerance, said Ronald Goossen, who in the early 1990s was among the first Mennonites from Manitoba to move to this sleepy town about 100 kilometres east of Montreal. "It's kind of sad because we enjoy the community, we have friends and we have good rapport with our neighbours.

"But when they threaten to take our children and put them in foster homes, that's beyond what we can accept," said Goossen, 56. Parents were warned they'll face legal proceedings if their children aren't enrolled in sanctioned schools this fall. That could lead to children being taken from families, Goossen said. He said about 30 members of the 15-family community -- couples with their school-aged children -- will have to move before school starts. The others will follow.

. . . Problems arise because the teacher is not certified and the province's official curriculum is not being taught, say education officials. [The official curriculum teaches anti-Christian attitudes and immorality antithetical to the Mennonite way of life.]
"To do that, we would have to send teachers to schools we don't want to send our children to," Goossen said. "We don't agree with the emphasis on evolution, which we consider false; we don't like the morality standards; and we don't like the acceptance of alternative lifestyles," he said . . .

Dragging Our Youth To Suicide

"The 2nd annual drag kickball game was held [in Provincetown] to raise money for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline for Gay and Lesbian Teenagers." - Cape Cod Times, 8-8-07

Comment: This is the sort of thing that would drive our children to suicide, not prevent it. Please, can't they just stop?

Crafting "Transgender" Youth

Left: Miss Vera, workshop presenter at the transgender Fantasia Fair coming up in P'town, now recruiting "trans" college students. [Photo credit: "Miss Vera's Finishing School For Boys Who Want To Be Girls"]

Reasonable people knew that our society's downward descent would not stop at homosexuality. Once boundaries on sexual morality and public behaviors were overturned, there is no end to the depravity and perversion -- the sickness will only multiply, taking new forms. Overturning sodomy laws and recognizing civil unions or "homosexual marriage" gave the green light to even wilder perversions, such as opposite-sex hormone injections (even starting pre-puberty!), breast or penis removal, and other "transitioning" medical treatments.

The recent, coordinated explosion of propaganda normalizing transgenderism and transsexuality is breathtaking. Not surprisingly, the target is increasingly children and youth. Here are two recent youth recruitment notices we've come across, going after high school and college students. The first, a teen girls' magazine trolls for "transgender" stories from its young readers; the second, a college network sends around an email offering scholarships to attend a tranny fest in Provincetown.

Teen Voices, a Leftist national online publication for teen girls (published out of an office in Boston) claiming a readership of 50,000, is encouraging "transgender" teens to write articles for an upcoming issue. (A Teen Voices group marched in the Youth Pride parade in Boston.) Jennie of Teen Voices magazine recently sent out this email:

Teen Voices is a magazine for girls that encourages empowering young woman [sic] in a safe and informative way. I am a teen editor for the Special Features section and the group has decided to write about transgender youth. In the article, they are writing about the different issues that transgender teens go through. Teen Voices hopes to educate teens who don't know about trans youth and also hope to give valuable information to those who are more closely connected to the topic. Currently Teen Voices is looking for article submissions from transgender teens. Looking for any teens who would be interested in submitting their story or who might be willing to talk to Jennie in a phone interview. This would be a good way to share their experience and be published in a national magazine. Contact Jennie at mailto:specialfeature1%40teenvoices.com to submit or for moreinformation. All submissions are due by August 10th.Visit http://www.teenvoices.com/

Meanwhile, the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition is encouraging "trans" college students to attend the "Fantasia Fair" in Provincetown this October. "Scholarships" are available. They are training their future leaders, especially female-to-males (FTMs) young women (oops -- can't call them women?). From Fantasia Fair's web site:

Fantasia Fair is a week-long transgender event that attracts people from the entire range of the GLBTI community - crossdressers, transsexuals, intersex individuals, M2Fs, F2Ms, and their significant others are all welcome. . . . The Fair is a “full immersion” experience, meaning that attendees can and usually do spend an entire week living 24/7 in their chosen gender. Started in 1975, “FanFair” is the longest-running annual event in the transgender world. Every year the Fair grows in its scope, character, and assistance to the gender explorer. FanFair continues to be the leading annual program promoting an individual’s ability to thrive in a real-life situation, and receive positive reinforcement and encouragement. This allows the cross dresser, MTF transsexual, FTM transsexual and all the gender diverse to experience life in an open and caring environment — something unique in a world that typically has difficulty understanding and accepting gender diversity.

The Fantasia Fair Planning Committee will be awarding scholarships to the 33rd annual Fantasia Fair, to be held October 14-21 in historic Provincetown, Massachusetts. Scholarship recipients will receive freetuition to the Fair, including all seminars, workshops, and events, 12 meals, and shared room accommodations for seven nights.... "We're proud to make this announcement," said Fair Director Dallas Denny. "Fantasia Fair is a wonderful conference. We want to reach out especially to the young people who will be the future leaders of our community, and especially to FTMs."

Crafting Homosexual Children: Reisman's Research

Required summer reading . . . Dr. Judith Reisman's web site. (Check out her resume.)

Dr. Reisman exposed the fraud of Alfred Kinsey's "research" and the radical sexual liberationists' and homosexuals' assault on our culture and children. Start with her article, "Crafting Bi/Homosexual Youth."

Now it's almost impossible for parents to protect their children from evil influences, especially at school: Inverted pink triangle "safe space" stickers are everywhere, telling children their homes are NOT safe. Little children learn how to put on condoms even before the boys can have erections. The littlest children are taught that homosexuality is "perfectly normal." And our children do not learn about the extreme health risks of homo (and hetero) sexual activity, especially at early ages.

Reisman gives us the historical context for our current horrific state of affairs.

What the Gay-Straight Alliances Talk About

No one really knows what students at the "gay-straight alliance" clubs (GSAs) in our high schools talk about. We're pretty sure the faculty/staff advisors tell the students, "What we talk about here, stays here." But since the topic is sex, and perverted sex at that, we shudder to imagine what goes on. Here's a little insight, from a Catholic news service in California, that we just came across. It refers to the GSA Network News, which currently focuses on California but says it is expanding nationwide. You can be sure the Massachusetts activists are spreading the same sort of information as the California GSA Network:

GSAs: not as innocent as they may seem; Gay Straight Alliance promotes sex-toy workshop for youth.
California Catholic News, June 25, 2007

The Gay Straight Alliance [of California], which has clubs for homosexual and lesbian students on college, high school, and, now middle school campuses, this month promoted a “Pleasure Physiology and Sex Toys” workshop in its internet publication, GSA Network News. The workshop ... “will encourage your personal sexual exploration in this fun, informative workshop ... on pleasure physiology and sexual response, and learn how to choose and use sex toys safely.” The workshop, the News, “is for youth 14 and over” ... [and other] workshops on masturbation, anal sexuality, gay sexuality, porn, and “sex club etiquette” [are given].

Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) in Massachusetts

Which high schools in Massachusetts have GSAs? Our new Massachusetts Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth has informed us they do not have a list of GSAs in the state -- though it's their job to work directly with them. So we'll publish the best list we have, from GLSEN's "Day of Silence" participating schools list (from 2005), updated by input from our activists around the state, plus info from an out-of-date Mass. Dept. of Education web page (still posted on 7-28-07). Interesting that GLSEN (behind the "Day of Silence") has stopped posting its list of participating high schools shortly after we publicized their web page, though they do now say there are 242 GSAs in Massachusetts. We only have 209 schools on this list; so the reality is even worse than it appears here! We now await corrections from the Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth ... and GLSEN. (For lists of GSAs in other states, check out Mission America's list, also compiled from GLSEN's earlier information.)

Romney's Posing on Parents' Rights and Sex Ed

Romney's recent statements on sex ed (see YouTube) are laughable. Look, we're in Massachusetts, and we're the group behind the current Parents' Rights law that guarantees parents advance notice and the right to opt their child out of any school instruction involving human sexuality issues. So we know about this issue of sex ed in the schools. What a joke that Romney is acting as the defender of parents' rights in this matter!

When the rubber hit the road with the David Parker case, then-Gov. Mitt Romney did NOT ENFORCE THE LAW through his Department of Education. All Lexington parent Parker asked for was advance notice when his kindergartner would be exposed to homosexuality and transgender issues, and so he could opt his child out (as Mass. law allows). The school system denied him this legal right. Romney should then have instructed his Commissioner of Education to enforce the law, but he did nothing other than say Parker's demands were within the law. Thanks, Mitt.

Just as bad, Romney's "Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth" promoted the homosexual extremist agenda in high schools across Massachusetts. Romney only paid attention when WE went to him in 2006 documenting outrages of its Youth Pride event in May 2005, and even then he caved to the homosexual lobby in the State House and backed off disbanding the Commission!

So who is Romney to pontificate against Obama's mention that sex education is the "right thing to do" and should be "age appropriate"? Romney now says that "zero" is the right amount of sex ed for kindergartners. So, why didn't he come to David Parker's defense, and enforce the law (the job of the executive branch), when Parker's son was being given storybooks on "families" with two mommies or two daddies?

Romney: Obama's sex-ed support wrong
Associated Press (7-19-07)
Republican Mitt Romney directly appealed to social conservatives in South Carolina on Thursday, criticizing Democratic rival Barack Obama for supporting age-appropriate sex education for children as young as kindergartners. "Senator Obama is wrong if he thinks science-based sex education has any place in kindergarten," Romney said. "We should be working to clean up the filthy waters our kids are swimming in."

Maryland Schools to Promote Anal Sex

The public health consequences of state-sanctioned sodomy-based "marriages" will be profound, compounding the decades of denial regarding HIV/AIDS transmission (dictated by radical homosexual activists). We already see the effect in our Massachusetts public schools, which now claim they must teach that anal sex is the equivalent of natural and healthy heterosexual intercourse -- because "gay marriage is legal."

Where were the physicians in the great non-debate on homosexual "marriage" in our State House? In the subsequent push to force homosexual sex on our schoolchildren, for example through Rep. Alice Wolf's "comprehensive health education" bill, a prominent public health physician stepped forward to point out that anal intercourse was five times more likely to result in HIV infection than vaginal intercourse (according to CDC statistics), and should not be presented to children as an acceptable behavior. But would it have made a difference if there had been 250 physicians joining with him? It didn't in Maryland! It seems most of our legislators are brain dead, and can't even absorb the most obvious facts any more.

Even in states without the fantasy of "legal" homosexual "marriage", the education establishments are out of control. PFOX (Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays) tells us that despite a petition signed by 270 PHYSICIANS, the Maryland Department of Education will forge ahead with an extreme and dangerous message to their children, that anal sex is an option just as valid and safe as vaginal intercourse! See today's press release from PFOX:

Maryland State School Board Advances “Sexual Diversity” Above Children’s Safety
News Advisory: July 10, 2007
Contact:
PFOX@pfox.org www.pfox.org

ROCKVILLE , Maryland – In its ruling last week regarding a controversial sexuality curriculum in Montgomery County , the
Maryland State Board of Education (MBOE) has implicitly authorized local school boards to promote “sexual diversity” to students and teach about anal sex while excluding warnings of the medical dangers pertaining to such practices.

Both the MBOE and Montgomery County School Board
rejected a petition from 270 local medical doctors to include warning about anal sex critical to student safety as issued by the Office of the Surgeon General and National Institutes of Health.

The MBOE has also ruled that Maryland schools may teach questioning and confused students that homosexuality is “innate,” a controversial and unproven theory advanced by gay advocacy groups serving on the Montgomery County School Board’s curriculum advisory committee.

“In order to pander to these forces, sound education doctrine will now be turned on its head in Maryland ,” said Regina Griggs, Executive Director of Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX). “The MBOE has taken the preposterous position that questioning children can now be taught that they are ‘born that way’ until science proves otherwise ‘with a preponderance of evidence.’”

“Millions of dollars and three decades of research have failed to prove that homosexuality is innate or that change is not possible,” said Griggs. “After our expert testimony and briefs, it became obvious that science failed to justify the Montgomery County Public Schools’ biased and anti-exgay curriculum. Because they know that what they want to teach is not factual, MBOE instead claims that teaching children to ‘respect differences in sexuality’ of transgenders, transsexuals, homosexuals and cross-dressers is a ‘civic virtue.’ ” The Montgomery County School Board reappointed the curriculum advisory committee members who openly attack ex-gays and discourage equal access by ex-gay supporters.”...

Bisexual Girls at Higher Risk for Pregnancy?

A few weeks ago, we read about the "Surprising results from health risk survey for LGB youth" in the homosexual newspaper Bay Windows (6-21-07). We saw that "sexually active LGB youth are three times as likely to face an unwanted pregnancy as their straight peers" and that "risks of suicide, violence, drug use and even cigarette smoking for LGB youth has decreased over the last 10 years."

The unsurprising part of the report must be this: "The YRBS [Massachusetts survey] also found that sexual minority youth were at greater risk for contracting HIV and other STDs than their peers. In 2005, sexual minority youth were twice as likely to report having been diagnosed with HIV or another STD as their straight peers." And so why are we encouraging and supporting these behaviors in our schools?

Back to the pregnancies. We're confused: who exactly is getting pregnant here, part-time "lesbian" girls or "bisexual" girls? And who is impregnating them? Other lesbian girls? Bisexual boys? Or are the girls consorting with (horrors!) heterosexual males? Or is it just "bisexual" girls we're talking about? Then why doesn't the story say just "bisexual"? We think it's because that would expose the absurdity of that term, which heightens awareness that all the "GLBT" identities are really chosen behaviors, not an innate characteristic.

This 2005 Youth Risk Behavior Survey once raises questions on its scientific reliability. First of all, are there standard, accepted definitions for the words "lesbian, gay, and bisexual", known to teenagers taking the survey? And are all the teenagers who so identify on the survey sincere, or are some of them pulling someone's chains? We've commented before that we have overheard kids joking about how they lie on this survey for the fun of it, about their "sexual identity" and a lot of other things, including suicide, drug taking -- you name it. This survey is clearly a political tool of the GLBT/AIDS activists/Planned Parenthood/teachers' union/social services crowd. It sure keeps the money flowing to them. It provides the dishonest basis for the "safe schools" program, which pushes gay/straight alliance clubs, school "safe spaces", the "Day of Silence" and diversity assemblies in our schools.

From the Bay Windows story:
... the state’s Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS), showed at least two surprising results. The first was that, according to the 2005 survey, sexually active LGB youth are three times as likely to face an unwanted pregnancy as their straight peers. The second is that risks of suicide, violence, drug use and even cigarette smoking for LGB youth has decreased over the last 10 years.Goodenow [Dept. of Education official in charge of the survey] explained that since the mid 90s the YRBS, which has been administered to nearly 24,000 public school students throughout the state since its inception, has included two questions that allow DOE to identify LGB youth and compare their risk for violence, harassment and health issues with those of their straight peers.

Over a 10-year period, from 1995 to 2005, Goodenow examined health risk trends for “sexual minority youth,” a category that includes any youth who identifies on the YRBS as GLB or who reports having sex partners of the same sex. Sexual minority youth make up about five percent [so why do we always hear 10%?] of the total student population across most years of the survey, and in almost every case, Goodenow said, they are at greater risk for health problems, violence and suicide. Data about the greater risk of suicide among LGBT youth in particular helped spur the creation of the state’s Safe Schools programs.... The 2005 YRBS found that sexual minority youth were four times as likely as their straight peers to have made a suicide attempt in the past year.

“These are the best indications we have about what’s going on in kids’ lives,” said Goodenow. The YRBS also found that sexual minority youth were at greater risk for contracting HIV and other STDs than their peers. In 2005, sexual minority youth were twice as likely to report having been diagnosed with HIV or another STD as their straight peers....

Sex Offender in "Friends of the Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth"

Last summer, State House homosexual lobbyist Bill Conley
(right at Youth Pride 2005 parade) was arrested for soliciting
college boys at UMass Amherst.

The Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth is supported by a "Friends" group, whose purpose is to raise money to support the gay/straight alliance clubs in high schools around the state, and put on the "Youth Pride" event each year. The "Friends of the Governor's Commission" allowed a convicted sex offender on its fundraising committee. Bill Berggren, (currently employed at the radical GLBT newspaper In Newsweekly, and recently resigned from Boston Pride's committee after his conviction was revealed) was listed on the Third Annual [2005] "Sunnyside Up Brunch Committee" as both a Table Captain and a Volunteer.

How many young people did he get to rub shoulders with there? Mind you, this was not a group of adults running Boston Pride. This was an organization that works with high school kids, "mentoring" and supporting their Gay/Straight Alliance clubs, etc. (See the "Friends" 2006 list of volunteering possibilities for adults who want to work with children.) We even asked in an old posting if such groups were doing the legally required background checks on their adult volunteers ... long before we heard about Mr. Berggren. Since then, MassResistance has continued to document these continuing dangerous liaisons, such as Youth Pride 2007, and the BAGLY prom.

Here's the list of 2005 committee members for the "Friends of the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth" fundraiser [web page no longer posted]:

Will Children Be Safe at State House?

The Globe reports that our Secretary of State is worried about the safety of children on field trips at the State House tomorrow, during the Constitutional Convention on the marriage amendment. See "Pupil tours to feature democracy in action: But steps planned to skirt protesters" (6-13-07).

The unexpected confluence has prompted Secretary of State William Galvin to take steps to ensure that the impressionable youngsters will not be exposed to any mischief or chaos that may erupt during the intense debates and large demonstrations. Unlike most other State House visitors tomorrow, the children will enter the building through a rear door and be greeted by park rangers who will provide security and shepherd them through the building ...

"I do think it can be a constructive lesson, if both sides, the activists for and against gay marriage, are civil to one another," Galvin said. "We anticipate that the adults involved in the debate will be respectful to each other and also to the guests at the State House who are students. ... It's a classic, classic example of free speech and action on a controversial issue, no matter which side you are looking at," said a statement he issued yesterday.

Now this seems very odd to us. First, why are passions so high on the street? We don't see anything like this surrounding budget debates, do we? It's not a "classic example of free speech and action on a controversial issue." Our society has never seen anything so lunatic and perverted parading as legitimate political speech. (But the students will not be exposed to that viewpoint.)

This is really about a fringe minority forcing an insane change of the definition of marriage on society. That is what's dangerous to children. It's the people with the rainbow flags and the damage they are doing to society. Yet the Globe story makes it sound like bad things could emanate from either side in this "debate" tomorrow.

Maybe the schools should have cancelled their field trips. Would we want kids observing demonstrations for the legalization of polygamy and prostitution, or lowering the age of sexual consent? Surely those issues will all be pushed by the rainbow-flag group in the next few years. (See the Gay Rights Platform from 1972, which calls for all of these goals.) We already have a lobby for "transgender" rights. But just now, most Massachusetts citizens, asleep as they are, might still object to their kids being immersed in demonstrations for those "rights".

But tomorrow we'll see school officials blinking at -- or speaking favorably for -- sodomy-based marriage. They believe it's perfectly OK for the kids to think about what a same-sex "marriage" bed is all about. This is just a normal day at the State House, the schools will tell their pupils -- it's just a debate about "love" and "equal rights". The colorful rainbow flags will draw the kids in. And our Secretary of State pretends to be worried about the safety of children.

"Gay" Historical Revisionism

We just heard a story about a recent keyboard performance seminar at one of America's premier conservatories. In a class focusing on pianoforte performance techniques, and specifically on the music of Franz Schubert, one of the students asked the professor if he was familiar with the information suggesting Schubert was gay. The professor responded pointedly: "Would that change the way you play the trills?" In other words, shut up already!

And we say SHUT UP, ALREADY to Mr. Tom Lang (founder of KnowThyNeighbor.org, intimidator who published the signers' names for the VoteOnMarriage petition) who introduced similar questions at the State House on Tuesday, when he testified against our Parents' Rights Opt-In bill (S321). Enough of such "gay" historical revisionism being crammed down the throats of schoolchildren! When people study Michelangelo, what's important is the beauty and meaning of the Bible scenes he painted in the Sistine Chapel and the way he chiseled the Pieta. We don't need (or want) to know that the homosexual movement makes the "historical" claim that he shared their perversions. If the artist's rumored "sexual orientation" were brought up in a junior or high school classroom, then kids would immediately STOP thinking about his art and START thinking about anal intercourse.

While many fine people turned out on Tuesday to support our side, few came to oppose. But Mr. Lang was there with his petite, blond-bombshell "husband" . . . because he wants to be sure the kids DO keep thinking about sodomy in their art history class. (Also testifying for GLBT brainwashing in the schools was the co-chair of the Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, who took the occasion to add the terms "Bisexual and Transgender" to the name of his commission when he delivered his testimony.)

Mr. Lang whined that if our Parents' Rights bill is passed, schoolchildren wouldn't be able to discuss how Michelangelo's "gayness" informed his artistic genius (and therefore these poor children would lose all self-esteem and commit suicide). And that any discussion of the genius (ha!) of Gertrude Stein's "A rose is a rose is a rose" must make reference to her lesbianism. His testimony simply underscored our suspicion that he and his activist buddies are totally focused on sex and sexuality. Nothing else in life stands on its own. A case of arrested development?

Here's the homosexual newspaper Bay Windows' account of Mr. Lang's testimony, and Brian Camenker's objection: "Nazis? AIDS? Camenker must be talking about the gays again" (5-31-07):

Discussion of the Holocaust was prompted by the testimony of KnowThyNeighbor founder Tom Lang, who argued that the “opt-in” bill backed by MassResistance would essentially require that schools wallpaper over the history of LGBT people and their lives unless parents gave their approval to include them. He said teachers would have to discuss figures such as Gertrude Stein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and British World War II code-breaker Alan Turing while steering clear of their homosexuality and the impact that had on their works and their lives. He said the silencing of discussion about LGBT people would extend into topics where sexuality figures centrally, such as the Holocaust.

“A trip to the Holocaust memorial would be fine unless a teacher includes homosexuals among the list of the six million Jews, Gypsies, dissenters and social outcasts murdered by the Nazis in their death camps,” said Lang. He added that while the bill would limit discussions on sexuality for all students, the ones who would be hurt the most by the bill would be LGBT students. “But the true intent of S.321 is to take away the identity of LGBT children and to prevent them from reaching their full potential and achieving their greatest self-worth,” said Lang.

Camenker responded to Lang with his own testimony, arguing not only in favor of the restrictions on discussions of homosexuality and other “alternative sexual behaviors” but also disputing the persecution of gay men by the Nazis.“Being Jewish myself with many relatives from Eastern Europe, I was able to study the Holocaust and not have to deal with homosexuality. ” said Camenker. “One of the things that the gay movement is trying to do that drives parents crazy is to push that subject into the public school system.”
