Deval Patrick: Bad Choice for Obama's Supreme Court

We saw in the Boston Globe that Obama may be considering Deval Patrick for the U.S. Supreme Court. We say he's eminently unqualified. From his September 2006 appearance at the Harvard GLBT candidate forum, he's committed himself to the most extreme demands of that movement.


To understand Patrick's extremism, look at the company he keeps. Last June, he marched in the Boston Pride parade to support his teenage daughter's "coming out". But he was also lending support to frightening groups promoting dangerous perversions, for instance the sadomasochists who marched right before him.

As a candidate for Governor, Patrick met with the radical GLBT group at Harvard Law School (photo above). Not only is he fully behind "gay marriage" and "hate crimes" laws. While admitting that he didn't know anything about transgenderism, he also promised that he'd support the movement's demands.

Our Massachusetts horror, Rep. Barney Frank, doesn't stop at homosexual activism. He's long been pushing for a federal ENDA law banning discrimination on the basis of "gender identity or expression". Now he's appointed this woman,

transsexual Diego Sanchez, to his Washington staff. Sanchez made news in 2008 as the first transsexual to serve on the Democrat Party platform committee.

Transgender activist Diego Sanchez has been appointed to the position of legislative assistant to Congressman Barney Frank in Washington, D.C. The top priority among his [sic] responsibilities will be to serve as the congressman’s point person on LGBT rights, but he [sic] will also advise Frank on a range of issues relating to healthcare, veterans, labor and the U.S. Census. Sanchez will be the first openly transgender person to work in a congressional office in Washington.

Sanchez, the director of public relations and external affairs for the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, will be starting work in Frank’s office Jan. 6, the first day of the new legislative session....

Sanchez said two of the top items on Frank’s agenda for LGBT issues are the passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) and hate crimes legislation. He said one of his [sic] responsibilities will be meeting with staff members from other congressional offices to seek their support for legislation, and as an openly trans staffer he [sic] will put a human face on trans equality issues and help build support for passing trans-inclusive versions of ENDA and hate crimes legislation. "I believe that the opportunity for impact is one-on-one, and Barney has consistently said that the most important part of getting an inclusive ENDA passed is getting people to meet with their representatives," said Sanchez. "I think what this does is give us an extra opportunity. ... What I envision in my head is I will find it most interesting to sit with someone and have them tell me why they think I’m less than human and why they think my community should be treated as less than equal."

Some LGBT activists have criticized Frank for his work on ENDA in 2007. That September, working with House leadership, he removed the gender identity language from ENDA after a whip count determined that there were not enough votes to guarantee its passage. Frank said passing a version of ENDA with sexual orientation protections in the short term would help lay the groundwork for passing a fully inclusive bill in the future....

"I had a vacancy for someone who would work on LGBT issues and healthcare, so totally aside from the transgender issues Diego would be one of the best people I could find," said Frank. "And the fact that he’s [sic] transgender, that’s how you defeat the prejudice. You defeat the prejudice with reality."

Hey, Prez-Elect Obama! Time to spread around some wealth! Take a look at this palace. And to think only two guys, Tom Lang and Alex Westerhoff, live here. It doesn't seem quite fair.

And what a couple they are. Thanks to the Boston Globe Magazine, we get a peak at their "villa" -- the chicest location for radical leftist fundraisers. (Just imagine what else goes on in these rooms.*)
One thing is for sure: The palace has been a base for harassing opponents of "homosexual marriage". One of its owners, Tom Lang, is the infamous cyber-bully behind the "KnowThyNeighbor" web site, which published the names of anyone who signed the pro-marriage referendum petition in Massachusetts a few years back.

Here's nice guy Lang in December 2006, shouting down a pro-marriage rally (which held a permit for the space) in Worcester. MassResistance posted a video of his vile disruption, where he screams at the participants that they're "bigots". He’s the chubby guy in glasses.

It is our opinion that Tom Lang of Manchester-by-the-Sea should be prosecuted for violating the constitutional rights of citizens of Massachusetts who simply signed a petition to get a ballot question on marriage. Lang's goal was to intimidate anyone who questions homosexual marriage or homosexuality (then or in the future). Such intimidation is illegal in Massachusetts. Just look at what's happening to signers in California after the passage of Prop 8, banning homosexual "marriage". Lang provided the model for this tactic.

Mass. General Laws, Ch. 12, Sec. 11H:
Whenever any person or persons, whether or not acting under color of law, interfere by threats, intimidation or coercion, or attempt to interfere by threats, intimidation or coercion, with the exercise or enjoyment by any other person or persons of rights secured by the constitution or laws of the United States, or of rights secured by the constitution or laws of the commonwealth, the attorney general may bring a civil action for injunctive or other appropriate equitable relief in order to protect the peaceable exercise or enjoyment of the right or rights secured.... [emphasis added]

Lang and Westerhoff were often seen at demonstrations and State House events. Here they are at a recent State House event -- in their usual position -- celebrating the corrupt action of the Legislature which had just denied the people their right to vote on sodomy "marriage":

The Boston press has gushed over the Lang-Westerhoff palace before. In 2007, we posted Boston Herald columnist Margery Eagan's 2004 excrescence over their lavish "wedding" and home. Eagan was apparently a guest. See our June 2007 post on the "Finneran-Lang-Eagan Axis of Evil":

[MassResistance blog:] Lang's "wedding" was one of the first after the phony, illegal "gay marriages" began. He married his lovely bride -- oops, "husband" -- Alex, in a rose-bedecked church in Manchester-By-The-Sea. Eagan was apparently a guest of the two grooms. Within two years of his glorious "wedding", Lang went on to publish the names of all who signed the VoteOnMarriage referendum petition on his KnowThyNeighbor site, and become a leading spewer of heterophobic hate speech. And now how amazing is it that both Eagan and Finneran host talk radio shows? (This used to be the only outlet for conservatives in this state; now station managements are giving it over to the leftists.) From Eagan's column,"Same-Sex Marriage: Ordinary ceremony turns unique" (Boston Herald, 5-18-04):

[Eagan wrote:] ... Five minutes after Alexander Westerhoff and Thomas Lang, in tails and tux, walked down a white-carpeted aisle here last night, their wedding became not about same-sex or any sex, but about two people promising their lives to each other.
In many respects this wedding is "like any wedding," said officiating minister the Rev. Peter J. Gomes of Harvard University . "Preservice jitters . . . anxiety . . . confusion," he said. "And so we celebrate the ordinariness of the occasion."

But Gomes also said there's "something quite unique and special" happening in this small chapel.You expected Gomes then to speak of history: Yesterday, for the first time, homosexual couples could wed in Massachusetts . Before yesterday this union would have been illegal. Instead, Gomes referred to the two men before him as "unique" in their love. Men who put "16 years' worth of thought and care and consideration" into getting married.

And so it was in many ways a traditional marriage. Each pew a garland of baby roses. Best man Alex Filias handing over the rings. Traditional vows: "I give you this ring as a symbol of my promise," said Westerhoff. "All that I am is yours, as long as we both shall live," said Lang.
Here's what was different: As the couples joined hands, Gomes pronounced them, not man and wife, but "partners for life" and "truly married in the sight of God and man." Lang and Westerhoff kissed twice - very quickly - then they received a proclamation of congratulations from the Massachusetts House of Representatives, signed by Speaker Thomas Finneran, who has long opposed gay marriage. It read: "What the SJC has granted, let no vote put asunder."
... last night in Manchester-by-the-Sea, about 100 guests - men in black ties and women in bejeweled gowns - celebrated their marriage with them. Singers from the Boston Lyric Opera sang arias by Puccini and Lehar. Lang and Westerhoff marched out of the church to a gospel rendition of "Oh, Happy Day," sung by the red-robed Majestic Ensemble. Westerhoff was occasionally in tears as the wedding party adjourned to the massive home the couple just built together.
Missing from the party, however, was Alex's mother, who disowned him, the couple said, after their Vermont civil union....

In 2006, a gala fundraiser for then candidate Gov. Deval Patrick (friend to Barack Obama) was held at the Lang-Westerhoff palace. InNews Weekly (a homosexual newspaper) reported:

Gomes, [openly homosexual] (D.D., Honorary Fellow of the College, Plummer Professor of Christian Morals at Harvard University, and Pusey Minister in the Memorial Church, Harvard), provided a rare public endorsement on behalf of Deval Patrick at a Manchester-by-the-Sea fundraiser jointly hosted by Alexander Westerhoff and Tom Lang of Manchester and the Freedom to Marry PAC....

Alex Westerhoff and Tom Lang, whose Manchester-by-the-Sea "Villa in Construction" hosted the Deval Patrick for Governor fundraiser, have been close friends with the Reverend Gomes since Westerhoff immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1988. Westerhoff says that the attendees were in excess of 150 people in total and drew from a wide range of bi-partisan support from the Northshore and Boston who came out to hear and meet Deval Patrick. "I am honored that Reverend Gomes chose our joint event with Freedom to Marry in which to endorse Deval Patrick for Governor. Peter's words express, as only Peter can, the feelings of so many in Massachusetts as to the current administration and politicians in general, and how we need a leader like Patrick in the corner office," said Westerhoff. Reverend Gomes officiated at Westerhoff and Lang's marriage ceremony on May 17, 2004.

How phony for the homosexual community to demand inclusion in eHarmony, the online dating service formerly dedicated to promoting committed relationships between one man and one woman. Homosexuals have plenty of dating resources already, such as ManHunt, MassEquality, GLSEN, PFLAG, Human Rights Campaign, bathhouses, and all the new protest events happening everywhere! Go bash an old lady carrying a cross, and you'll be sure to catch the eye of a kindred spirit.

Back in 2006, we paid close attention to the Boston Pride parade, after we exposed the Macy's window with transgender mannequins promoting that event. (Watch out, eHarmony: Transgenders will demand their section next! After all, 13 or so states already have "gender identity" protected in their laws, and the radicals are working on that here in Mass.)

Our report became a big story in itself, so much so that the float of a "gay" dating service -- ManHunt.net -- was a take-off on the tranny mannequin theme.

Curious but innocent as we were, we then looked up the company behind that float: ManHunt.net. That was an eye-opener, and we believe it catches the essence of what gays are really looking for in an online "dating service".

Anti-Prop 8 Demo in Northampton Pushes "Transgender Rights"

Northampton, Massachusetts -- site of the nation's first major "Transgender Rights" march last June (documented by MassResistance, with video and photos) -- saw its own anti-Prop 8 demonstration on Saturday. But in Northampton, the cause includes "transgender rights" too -- not just "homosexual marriage".

What caught our eye on YouTube was this video of a "male-to-female" transsexual speaker, Lorelei Erisis.

A new "direct action" lesbian/trans/assorted perv group has appeared on the scene, most recently invading a church in Lansing, Michigan. The group "Bash Back" calls themselves "Satanic Trannies" and they are clearly proud of the places reserved for them in hell. (Note the "666" under "Dykes of the Damned" above. Sign below reads "Satanic Trannies".) Their banner in Wikipedia says, "These faggots kill fascists." The group is gearing up all over the country, no doubt soon joining the fray in Massachusetts.

How sad to read that Gov. Patrick's daughter not only thinks she's a lesbian, but is now working for Massachusetts' leading transgender radicals (pictured above). As an intern at MassEquality, Ms. Patrick would have been pressured big time to adopt their whole extremist agenda, including lobbying for the "Transgender Rights" Bill H1722.

Now we read on the Mass. Transgender Political Coalition web site that Ms. Patrick will be a featured speaker at their upcoming "Transgender Youth Summit" on June 28: "Youth Organizer Katherine Patrick from MassEquality - Youth Activism in Schools and Communities."

Governor Patrick publicly supports "transgender rights" -- but does he know what transgenderism is all about? Has the Gov seen our photo report on what "Trans Pride" really looks like? Has he contemplated the reality of "male-to-female" surgery? Or how girls become "bois"? Has he met the organizers of the Trans Youth Summit? And it's really OK with him that his daughter is up to her neck in this movement?

Since Ms. Patrick will be attending Smith College -- a hotbed of the wackiest transgender and lesbian activism, where the girls learn to hold really good riots -- the Gov had better prepare himself. His young daughter might just decide she's always been a boy and needs to have "gender reassignment" surgery (hysterectomy, breast removal, beard growth, and possibly the addition of a ...). We're sure the Gov would support her, since he loves her "no matter what."

Rioting Lesbians at Smith College - What Was It Really About?

Yes, the homofascists would like our latest expose of the lesbian riot at Smith College last week to just go away (see the revealing videos.) . . . because it's about something much bigger than they want to admit. See Americans for Truth's eloquent explanation:

Traditionalists and people of faith should take great courage from the homosexual side’s totalitarian tendencies. This is no “civil rights” movement but a sexual special interest lobby espousing — with all the assurance of a fundamentalist — doctrines that run counter to natural law, healthy living, and Judeo-Christian history. Which is another way of saying that they are at war with truth.

Communists and fascists censor advocates of democratic freedom and independent religion. Darwinists expel critics of evolution from the academy. Southern Poverty Law Center Identified as "HATE GROUP"

MassResistance blog has identified the communist Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as a "HATE GROUP" (along with Bay Windows, QueerToday, MassEquality, BAGLY, the Mass. Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, GLSEN, PFLAG, Human Rights Campaign, etc. -- the list is endless...), following SPLC's libel of MassResistance and other pro-family groups, including the Traditional Values Coalition.

Recently, the SPLC listed MassResistance as a "hate group" -- though we fail to meet their own definition of an organization "that [goes] beyond mere disagreement with homosexuality by subjecting gays and lesbians to campaigns of personal vilification.”

Hmm ... all we've ever done is to report what the GLBT individuals themselves said or did publicly. Is it personal vilification on our part if the Boston Herald reports on the arrest of a major gay lobbyist for solicitation of college students, and we note that report? No -- that's news about a public figure. To comment that the leader of the Mass. transgender political organization has had her breasts removed is “personal vilification”? The claims by SPLC are absurd on their face. MassResistance is led by an Orthodox Jew, yet the HUGE majority of “hate crimes” they report in Massachusetts between 2003-2007 are against Jews! Second are crimes based on race, then ethnic group, then religion, then “sexual orientation”.

Obama Fully Supports "Transgender Rights"

WorldNetDaily is reporting on Obama's promise of his support to the whole GLBT community. He brags that he supports a "fully inclusive" ENDA (i.e., including transgenders), and that he co-sponsored "gender identity" legislation in Illinois. We wonder if he's been tutored by his buddy Deval Patrick, who promised in 2006 to support "transgender rights," even though Patrick had no idea what "transgenderism" was all about.

Will Obama's health care plan cover all of the trans demands for bizarre hormone injections, surgeries, and devices? (Why is no one else asking these questions?)

It's not easy to find on his campaign website, but Sen. Barack Obama has issued an open letter to the "LGBT community" assuring them he believes in "full equality" for homosexuals and stating that, unlike Sen. Hillary Clinton, he advocates the complete repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act.

In the letter, published on a campaign blog, Obama says he's "running for president to build an America that lives up to our founding promise of equality for all – a promise that extends to our gay brothers and sisters." Pointing out that throughout his career he's "fought to eliminate discrimination against LGBT (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) Americans," Obama lists some of his specific accomplishments.

In the Illinois legislature, he "co-sponsored a fully inclusive bill that prohibited discrimination on the basis of both sexual orientation and gender identity, extending protection to the workplace, housing and places of public accommodation." As president, he says, "I will place the weight of my administration behind the enactment of the Matthew Shepard Act to outlaw hate crimes and a fully inclusive Employment Non-Discrimination Act to outlaw workplace discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity."

... Obama says he will also use the presidency's bully pulpit to "urge states to treat same-sex couples with full equality in their family and adoption laws." The candidate for the White House says he would not prevent legalization of same-sex marriage. "I personally believe that civil unions represent the best way to secure that equal treatment," he sayes. "But I also believe that the federal government should not stand in the way of states that want to decide on their own how best to pursue equality for gay and lesbian couples whether that means a domestic partnership, a civil union or a civil marriage." ...

Oppose Bill H1722, the “Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes” bill. The Judiciary Committee will decide before March 19 whether to pass this bill onto the legislature for a vote. Go to our action page to contact the members of the Committee.

Bill H1722 would add the essentially undefined phrase "gender identity or expression" to many existing Mass. statutes, opening the door to unimaginable perversions played out in public – and the public will have no right to object. H1722 would:

• add a new category of persons (falling under the undefined phrase “gender identity or expression”) to those receiving special protection under Massachusetts “hate crimes” statutes.
• make it a "civil right" to cross-dress in public places or on the job, and a "civil right" to receive sex-change procedures in all hospitals;
• open up restrooms and locker rooms everywhere (including public schools) to persons of the opposite sex;
• force all businesses to accept cross-dressing and transgenderism (including sex-change transitions) among their employees (or clients), and eventually to include bizarre "health coverage" in employee benefits packages;
• force public schools to include "transgender" education at all levels, and make any complaints criminal (as incitements to discriminate);
• make it criminal discrimination to refuse to rent to a transsexual-related business or transgender person in your own property, or even to speak out against this in your own neighborhood (even if next to a church or school);
• make it criminal discrimination for a financial organization to refuse a loan to a transsexual-related business;
• give state sanction to dangerous surgical mutilations and hormonal manipulations of people suffering from a recognized psychiatric disorder, with unknown long-term health consequences;
• deny religious exemption except for an organization "which limits it membership, enrollment, admission, or participation to members of that religion" (thereby not exempting most religious schools, or businesses owned by individuals with sincerely held religious beliefs, etc.)

Acton-Boxborough's Fall Play Directed Students to Racist "Gay" Porn

No, our coverage of Acton-Boxborough Regional High School's outrageous fall play, "The Laramie Project," is not over. We will continue to connect our readers to more information as it surfaces.

"The Laramie Project" (and the study materials given to students in the production) references another homosexual propaganda play, "Angels in America" -- encouraging children to seek it out. Not having read "Angels in America," we didn't realize how vile it is. Now "Angels" is being exposed by an Illinois parent group, outraged that it was assigned in their high school. Now the book has been changed to an “optional title,” meaning kids may still select the book for peer study under the direction of a teacher.

The book is replete with profanity, overt racism through multiple uses of the N-word, an explicit description of a sex act involving Mother Theresa and some of the most graphic, vile and vivid depictions of homosexual anal sodomy every put in print. Judiciary Committee Hearing Will Expose Lies by Mass. Family Institute, Romney, and Mainstream Media

But will the mainstream media report it? Of course not, because they don't want their LIE exposed, that "same-sex marriage is legal in Massachusetts."

How revealing: Massachusetts Family Institute (MFI) contradicts itself on two bills regarding "homosexual marriage" before the Judiciary Committee tomorrow:

• The first, Bill H1720 (also S918) filed by the homosexual lobby, would legalize “homosexual marriages” (changing the marriage statute to allow two people of either gender to marry) -- something never done after the SJC’s Goodridge ruling made that suggestion in November 2003.
• The second, Bill S926, filed by MassResistance, would declare all supposed “homosexual marriages,” contracted from May 17, 2004 on, “NULL & VOID” -- since there was never any change in the statutes to permit such “marriages.”

While MFI tells its people to oppose the legalization of "homosexual marriage" in the first bill, it doesn't tell them to support the MassResistance bill. Why not?

Logically, if you oppose the first bill, you would also support the second. Clearly, if “homosexual marriage” was never legalized, such supposed “marriages” in Massachusetts have not been legal. So why not so declare them “NULL & VOID” as the bill says?

Sadly, Massachusetts Family Institute (MFI) has tied itself up in knots on this one. They admit the first bill exists, and therefore they must understand that “homosexual marriage” is still not legal. So why did their hero Mitt Romney issue fraudulent “marriage licenses” to homosexual couples (starting May 2004), and order state office holders to comply? Romney was violating the Constitution by ordering his executive branch to implement a fantasy that was never made law. Only the Legislature can rewrite the marriage statute, and that was necessary before the Governor could constitutionally change the marriage licenses!

Yet MFI refuses to support the second bill, filed by MassResistance, which recognizes this reality. Don’t they want clarity in the Massachusetts marriage laws? The problem is, they can't have that -- and defend Romney's actions too.

MFI supporters must realize that they've been lied to and misled by that organization. It's a disgrace.

*Romney boasts: "Every bill that crossed my desk I came down on the side of life." However, photos of him signing his health care law – after his "conversion" -- reveal a happy Ted Kennedy and the godfathers of the Democrat mafia of Massachusetts drooling with delight.

We are witnessing a massive cover-up. But the grassroots are figuring it out: Romney seduced and outright bought the "conservative" establishment. Liberal Whining a Psychiatric Condition

This looks like it's worth reading: The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness, by Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr., M.D. Rossiter is a psychiatrist with 35 years professional experience, and was trained at the University of Chicago. From WorldNetDaily:

"A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do," he says. "A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do. Dr. Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:
- creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;
- satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
- augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
- rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government.

"The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind," he says. "When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious."

BDSM on the Rise; Does the State Have an Interest?

Two recent stories in the New York Post remind us once again how quickly sexual perversions can devolve into acutely dangerous situations…. And make us ask once again why Massachusetts already protects undefined "sexual orientation" as a civil right, and is considering similarly protecting undefined "gender identity or expression" in our laws.

The state truly does have an interest in prohibiting certain sexual activities. The connection between the worlds of unrestrained GLBT behaviors and BDSM is well established. Otherwise, why would we see PFLAG (Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays) co-sponsoring a transgender conference (including kinky sex workshops) with the New England Leather Alliance (BDSM advocates); or GLAD (the legal advocacy organization that brought us “gay marriage”) holding a forum advocating total sexual liberation called “Sex on the Margins”?
